Love that you can upload a photo to do the pseudo-try on but it's never fully accurate so I just ordered a pair feeling very uncertain whether I'll like them in person. Would be great if there were a home try-on that doesn't require purchase with prescription. But I appreciate the photos from diff angles, measurements and so on, and the favoriting option helps narrow down. I've bought multiple glasses from EyeBuyDirect so they're definitely doing something right.

I have bought one frame in Readers which I am happy with. When I went to order a pair of progressives, I continued to receive a message that the frames cannot be made for progressives. And it provided a link to all of the frames that are capable of making into progressives -- and the frames I want are on that list.
I sent an email and did get a response fairly quickly, but given the same link to the same list. So I was left frustrated.
But I do love the selection of frames, especially a pretty large number of larger sized frames, as that is what I like.
I decided to try again with the progressives, and it seems that when I removed just the "two PD" and left it at one PD, I was able to place the order. Doesn't make sense to me, but I did place the order and will see if the lenses work. If not, I'll send them back.

The web site makes it easy to filter the styles and find the one you're looking for. I love being able to order glasses online. Some of the styles and options cause a big jump in price for some reason, but at least for the basic options the price is very reasonable.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
