I have used this company since 2009. I have had 24 orders. My prescription has changed often as I have end stage glaucoma and had radial keratotomy many years ago. I have had wonderful service from this company, They have refunded when prescriptions just did not work for whatever reason. They have been wonderful to work with. I have been very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and frames and of course the price has been terrific. Yesterday, I was buying two pairs in the same frames and had to call for help maneuvering the website. The first fellow I talked to was very patient and helpful. I decided later to have bifocals put in one pair but not in the other. By then I was in a huge time crunch, but I had already spent so much time with the order that I didn't want to leave it and perhaps lose everything I had done, so I called back. I ecplained to the lady that I had everything done, I just wanted to put bifocals in one pair and couldn't figure out how to do that online. She immediately started to quiz me and up sell me. I explained that I had to leave in 15 minutes, but she continued to do that. I explained again that I had already done everything the way I wanted it done, that I had spent a lot of time on it. By then there was irritation in my voice and I asked her to just help me do what I wanted to do. She did, but that is the first time I've ever had someone do that with this company. Maybe they're having a contest or something. There must be some pressure from somewhere to up sell. I will not stop using them. They have been so good to work with me over the years. I know there's more competition out there, by far, than when I first discovered them. Prices have dropped significantly in many settings for glasses. I hope this doesn't change the company and the way they have always dealt with their customers.
This was my first time ordering and I got to the part to enter the prism but was unsure how to enter it. I called customer service and she was able to helphelp.
I love this site and their prices. I was shopping online one day and didn't buy the glasses immediately. The next day I went back to my shopping cart and the discount was no longer available. But luckily there was a new code that I could apply! I got the ones I wanted for an AMAZING price.

Best prices. Many different styles for all the ins and outs. Different colors, different features, different sizes(S, M & L). Super simple layout and easy to do yourself. Lots of information. Frames from $9-$70, for your broke people and your slurgy people(or someone like me, my bf is buying them for me with no spending limit, really) so I got some for $9 and some for $35. One of them has the light adjusting feature and it's my first time trying that so I'm very excited! They also come in these cute recycled material boxes and little bags, with an informational brochure as well! And today I got 20% off lenses and 30% off frames! An amazing deal. I'm always happy when using EBD!
I have been customer for years. Would not consider any other online eyewear Co. Customer service is awesome. Very polite, clear speech, patient, professioal and exceptionally helpful.
I spoke to a call center over and over. They took my payment. I was waiting for weeks. I tried to contact corporate. Which is impossible. Worst experience ever. They have my money for weeks now. They did send an email on Feb 12 asking for payment. Or course I disregarded It because I new the money left my account. So they have my money and now are asking me about my "Prism" which I gave over the phone weeks. This seemed like such a great deal with great styles etc. It's a nightmare that is STILL unresolved. Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
