I tried to call but that didn't work. It wasn't a critical question so I purchased anyway but overall I wish they were responsive.
I reccommend this site to anyone who I know wears glasses. I can't imagine buying glasses through an eye doctor ever again.
No bad feelings here, I can't fathom spending hundreds of dollars on a pair of glasses my two kids and I are almost certain to break. Two kids under 3 and an exhausted mom who has taken many elbows and knees to the face. For $9 I've gotten some of the cutest pairs of glasses and didn't feel terrible when I sat on them or fell asleep with them on and bent them to hell. Now of course I've had a couple pair that while wearing them would just break, like in the weirdest places too. Hear a "pop" and my glasses would fall off my face but hey, they're $9 and EyeBuyDirect offers 1 free replacement! I'm constantly buying new frames because I get bored with the same look easily!

I've had a great experience with the return process. Unfortunately you do get what you pay for and had a pair of plastic frames break but they're so cheap I wait for a sale and buy multiple so it all evens out. Would recommend
EyeBuyDirect does a pretty good job. I've bought before and it worked out, mostly. The return policy is very fair and easy to execute if needed. My current order was a breeze to place, as always. I will likely place an order in the future.
I have one pair and love them, I ordered another pair in plastic lenses for outdoors because the metal ones get arms get very hot. Fast delivery. Will recommend to my friends.

I broke a pair of glasses I ordered from this company, I contacted them wanting to PAY for a replacement arm. They refused, they don't do that. Fine.
I got an email saying they had a sitewide sale going on so I go check the price of the frame. When you search for the frame it shows it at 11,20$ however when you follow the link to the item page it changes the price to 16,10$. I get in touch with the company and they tell me that 11,20$ is the US price despite the fact that I've indicated I want to see prices in Canadian and there is no indication of USD after the price in the search box and no indication of CAD after the price on the item page. After a ridiculous number of emails back and forth with a different rep each time, they tell me that they will honor the price and the item has been placed in my cart. I got to finalise the purchase and it's still at 16,10$ so I write back.
The rep tells me that after checking again the price at 11,20$ is the US price and they refused to honor it.
This company has no problem with false advertising and they have no problem lying to their customers.
DO NOT order from this company, it's not worth the hassle you'll have to deal with is there's an issue!

My daughter was traveling the world and dropped her glasses in a very deep river. She was not due home for another month, we turned to you guys and it was so easy to order and ship to her within the week.
I love being able to use this site to get good quality glasses at an affordable price. My glasses got knocked off my face outside and must have hit a rock or something and chipped the lens thankfully this sites affordability allows me to reorder them without spending a fortune.

Sent the wrong prescription without bifocals. Say "We will help", then you go through a song and dance to get their screw-up fixed. Maybe cheap, not worth the hassle if something goes wrong.

I was so impressed with the first pair that I ordered - I just got another pair! And to think, I was paying $500-600 for ONE pair. So grateful that a friend told me about EyeBuyDirect!
So I am a college student and my insurance does not cover glasses any more and glasses can get pricey at the eye doctor's office. So I needed something I could afford and this website really helped me find glasses in my budget.
Have bought 3 sets of glasses from them and all have been a lot cheaper than local Optical shops and the quality is very good!

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
