The selection is great and easy check out. The prices are affordable and the frames are quality frames.
I purchased progressive glasses... distance gradually going down to reading RX. First pair did not work. They said to send them a pic of myself along with pupil distance measurement. I did. The second pair came. Not good. Headache. They said to send a pic of myself along with pupil distance... AGAIN! Now I am dealing with morons! I said I wanted to return. They said I could, but they would try again and give 15% off. I was done! I returned. Did not ask them for return slip because they probably would want ANOTHER pic of me. I tracked the return. I saw that it arrived. Then I lost the tracking number. Yes, my fault. However, they know that they received them, but WILL NOT give back my money! Not good customer relations! Who is running the show when they keep asking for something I already sent!
Your bifocal frame search does not save the entered prescription while looking for an acceptable frame. Also the frames I did get have yellow ear pieces. Not at all clear from the frame selections that this was the case.
This batch has been the best I've ordered yet. I'm not sure if the manufacturing has been upgraded but they feel a bit stronger than my old ones. I ordered four pairs, one on two day shipping and the other three reg. Shipping. The two days came quick as I hoped. The other three took about three weeks after ordering which isn't bad, I'm just impatient and excited when I order things! All my prev. Pairs have lasted well over a year to two years, and usually break from general wear and tear (I'm a bit rough with my glasses) so for the price and needing to upgrade my prescription anyways I'm a fan! Also many cute styles, I always choose my glasses based off customer photos/reviews. I like to see how they look on people with similar face shapes! I've been successful 9/10 times!

I have ordered multiple pairs of glasses from this site and they have all passed the test of time equally. However, one pair I'd ordered from them developed a small crack that got bigger throughout the months of continued use. I emailed their provided customer support address with a description of my situation and a couple photos of the cracked lenses. I received a new pair of the exact same glasses just a couple days later- free of charge. They also have great benefits for returning customers: free frames, BOGO deals, the list goes on. You can also upload a photo and do a virtual try-on of nearly any frame on the site. I really have nothing negative to say about this site. Avoid paying $300+ for a pair of glasses in a brick and mortar store when you can get an amazing pair from this site for as little as $25.
I purchased 2 pairs of glasses and kept 1. Despite a clunky and not quite transparent return process (intentional, I'm sure) I would've purchased from this company again. However, they continue to spam me with emails even though I have unsubscribed multiple times (due to excessive emails). I have no choice but to report as spam and block them. PS I started receiving spam text messages from strange numbers around the time I called EyeBuyDirect customer service. I don't know if it's related, but considering the mailing list violations, I don't trust their practices
I've been pleasantly surprised by how great this company's service and products are. I have placed 5 orders with EyeBuyDirect, for all different types of glasses and sunglasses. There are lots of frame and lens options, and it is easy to navigate the website and examine all your options. And the products are well priced, especially if you are able to apply a discount coupon. The order fulfillment is speedy and reliable. The quality of the glasses are as fine as those I have purchased from eyewear boutiques. Happy Customer!
I ordered glasses with blue reflection and they sent me ones with green. I asked them to correct the mistake and after spending 30 minutes on the phone with them, they ask me to pay an additional $55 for a pair I bought for $69. I later said no and requested a refund. They miscommunicated with me and said the refund will come within 3-5 business days. I followed up and they said I need to first return the glasses for the refund (This was not mentioned in the email and I sent them a screenshot showing that). Their customer service is pretty bad and doesn't even read the emails we send over to them.
Overall, pretty bad experience. I just wanted the right pair of glasses for the amount I initially paid which to me seems like the minimum a customer could ask for.
Why can't you guys be legit like (ganja-estates.com) because this is the 4th month till no sign of my package so l most confess ganja-estates is legit and reliable thanks again
Try-on doesn't work. The PD I entered is accurate, as measured by me, as well as the last 3 opticians I used at brick and mortar opticians. Yet their Try-on grossly exaggerates the size of their frames on my face. Same thing happens for all their frames. Even their smallest pair of children's frames looks far too wide for my face. One picture is worth a thousand words, so have a look.
Bought eyeglasses from this company and returned them within the 14 days window. The return package was delivered to their address on early December, but they never gave my money back. It's been 3 months! Their customer service team was good at using all kinds of words and excuses, trying to confuse you and let you forget about this whole thing. In one of the emails they even said "oh we have issued you a refund and you will receive it soon" but a week later there was still no refund, and when I asked again, they were like "oh It hasn't been issued cauz you need to provide us the usps tracking number", which I have sent them in 5 different times.
Such a lier company! I'll give it a zero star if I could. Don't waste your money!
I paid for 2 day delivery so I call on day 3 because I still don't have tracking. First person argued that I didn't pay for it even after I see it on my invoice. I'm put on hold and then hung up on. I call back now I am pretty much po'd. They then try to say that 2 day is only single vision ironically the web site says bifocal and progressive. Now I'm really hot because I'm expecting to have my glasses by now well they supposedly can't do bifocals or progressives in 2 days. They are supposed to refund the 19 and 47 because of their lies. If I get my glasses and they refund I may up their stars right now I do not believe they will. I will update later
I had a really good first experience with EBD, very satisfied. Then my last two orders were a nightmare. My second order, they just forgot to make the glasses. When I called they blamed them being a month late on Covid, but eventually gave hints that they didn't make the order. When I asked for a discount for having to wait, they offered a % off my next order. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a third time. When they sent the package, they didn't include my apartment number so they were sent back to EBD. When I called about this, they said they would remake them but would again take 2-3 weeks. AGAIN they sent an email with a % off on my next order (presumptuous of them to think I would order from them again). I called to see if they would apply that discount to my current order that was screwed up, they said no and spewed a bunch of company policies. So basically they don't care about customer service or rectifying their mistakes. Do not order from EBD unless you want long wait times to get your glasses, if they make it to you at all. And if you have a problem, don't expect anything other than them remaking the glasses. Worst customer service!
I am currently STRUGGLING with customer service. As other reviewers have said, their "easy return policy" is anything but easy. After being told to donate one pair of glasses from my order and return the other, Eyebuydirect is now refusing to give me a full refund but only $25 out of my $125+ order. Obviously this is totally unacceptable but it is SO frustrating arguing back and forth just to get a company to follow their own basic policies. I would love for a competent service rep to help me with this.
Received the items way late. Customer service for damaged item took for ever going back and forth. Zero customer service. Never deal with them again
I ordered glasses on the 29th, given a delivery expectation of the 14th. On the 13th, I checked the status online and it said it was processing, but had been at that status for a week with no updates. I contacted customer service through the chat. They repeated to me that the glasses were processing. I asked them to look into it because I was supposed to be receiving them soon. They said to expect it to be 3-5 business days from the point that the status changed to "Shipped". This was concerning so I asked them to escalate the inquiry to see if this status was actually correct. They said they would contact me by the next day. The next day, I contacted them via chat again after I hadn't heard back. This time they gave me a tracking number and said they were set to be "Shipped" that day. I googled the tracking number and found that they had already shipped and were actually due to arrive that day. So, the status had not been updated in a week to reflect that they had shipped. Somebody dropped the ball but nobody wants to just say that. The Agent (Rygene) said on his/her end it shows that they haven't shipped yet. That means the company is not providing adequate resources and support to their customer service department. That's a bigger problem. I asked the Agent to let their support team know so they can figure out why it's not sending out updates. The Agent responded to wait one business day for my status to update. I repeated that I'd like them to let their leadership team know that the system is not sending status update emails. I get the feeling they're not going to do that, so I let them know I'd check back in a day to make sure that they were notified. This should be standard practice to let the leadership team know when you've found a system problem so that they can look into it. It shouldn't die when the chat box is closed.
On Nov 19th I chose to purchase glasses from this website since they appeared to have affordable and trendy glasses with "great" reviews. Unfortunately, the glasses still have not arrived and the customer service stated the package had been lost as of Dec 1st. Not good because I need my glasses TO SEE! Additionally, the very next day they conveniently said the package has been found and it is in transit but could take up to 14 days more! I understand things happen BUT where is the compensation? Where is the "GREAT customer service?" I regret not going through another website. I simply didn't know any better. Also, they offered me 10% discount out of 124.00 that I spent and weeks of waiting for them to arrive which by the way still have not been received!
Nice site, I used to take sunglasses there for myself. Everything came up and came quickly. I was very pleased when I received a product that fits my face and style perfectly. And my friend's delivery delayed the product, but he still received it a couple of days later. Overall, we're happy.)
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
