The worst company in the world! They out sourced my car rental to a disaster company called Usave. They proceeded to give my car away 1 hr after my flight landed. I had no idea a company could give a rental car away in such a short window. You have to take 15 buses to even reach this crooked company. Will never do business with any car rental company other than the reputable companies. NIGHTMARE

I scheduled and paid for a car to be picked up at Houston airport at 10pm on Jan 28th. My confirmation, of which I still have, states they are open til 23:59(midnight). Our flight was to arrive at 10:07pm. It was 15 minutes early. We bused to the rental and the Dollar counter was closed. We were there at 10.06pm. The guy there said sorry we are closed nothing they can do and walked away. We were driving 3 hours yet that night so not an option to come back next day. They said its is a mistake on Economy Bookings part since they have the hours wrong. We then went to National and rented there. I had to pay a lot more for last minute rental and am not even asking for the extra money. I only want the refund I paid Economy Bookings. The call center was no help and only had me open a case. I received 1 e-mail saying case was open and they have not responded to any other communication nor refunded my money. It has now been 21 days.

I rented a car through Economy Bookings for a Ft. Lauderdale plckup. They assigned me to Right Cars. The agent at RightvCars refused to honor the price on my reservation and demanded an additional 60% over and above my reservation quote. After I declined and was returned to the airport I rented from a different agency. Afterwards, I filed a a complaint with Economy Bookings, explained the fiasco and requested a refund of my booking fee. Their reply was that the agent at Right Cars reported that I was a "no show" or could not present a valid credit card. Untrue. Never again will I try to save a few bucks using Economy Bookings.

They are so cheap and I was lured, too, but ended up paying double the amount. They didn't accept my Geico insurance and didn't accept the coverage provided my credit card company, American Express and charged me $40.00. I returned the car in after hours office and there was no key drop box was available and directed me to drop the key at some other locatio and charged me $27.00. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE

When booking my car I accidentally added the protection and when I called economy they refund the money back, that I can say GREAT
I rented a car and had to cancel the booking only a few hours later due to Covid-19 (Force Majeure) related travel cancellations. On the booking cancellation confirmation, it said that I would receive my full refund shortly. When the refund did not arrive after a few weeks, I contacted the company, and all they told me was that the cancellation occurred in line with their T&Cs. When I disagreed and asked in several emails where in the T&Cs it states that I do not get a refund, they did not answer for weeks. Only when I copied other internal email addresses, that is when they felt obliged to respond. They provided no explanation or apology for the wrong information I was given, but stated that I am entitled to a voucher which expires within 24 months. When I asked them again, where does it state in their T&Cs that I am only entitled to a voucher, and I explained that issuing a voucher as a refund which expires within a certain amount of time is in breach with EU Regulations, again no response for weeks. I then informed the EU Customer Centre and raise a complaint with them about EconomyBookings. Only when the company learnt about the complaint, they felt obliged to respond again, claiming yet again that the cancellation was in accordance with their T&Cs. I then asked again where it states that in their T&Cs, and I am yet to receive a response. I shall also add that the company has now changed the information about their T&Cs, following my complaint. It should be self-explanatory, that only the T&Cs in place during my cancellation are applicable.
I will continue to claim my refund, but I can already only warn you as a customer not to make a booking with this, at best, inexperienced young company. Can you imagine the struggle if something happened on the road with one of their rental cars?! This company has highly questionable ethical standards and unlawful practices towards their customers, as I experienced first hand! CHOOSE ONE OF THE BIG COMPANIES INSTEAD WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

The car was clean and in good condition and I enjoyed driving it. More so, they have the option to provide us the receipts and agreement in email which is environment friendly.
They will be getting my business from now on and I will definitely be recommending other's their way.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
