When I arrived to collect my rental car, a Chevrolet Impala, I was informed the model I had booked was in the Premium range not in the Full size. I ended up with a Nissan Altima instead. It was a really good car. However I swapped this for a Dodge Charger on my second week.as I wanted something a bit sportier.
I paid a small fee to do this.
The Dodge was slightly bigger and looked great. When I got it home I noticed it had quite a few areas of damage, the wipers needed changed, the onboard computer stated it required an oil service and the air conditioning wasn't as good as the Nissan.
I suspect it needed a recharge.
It had travelled 45 thousand miles which was a bit surprising as rental cars are normally newer with less miles.
I suggest the web site is amended to reflect the true classification of the Impala so other people are not misled.
The staff at the collection and drop point were very courteous and helpful, particularly the lady who did the exchange for my second week.
Use economybookings as you receive full car insurance with an additional driver, and you know you know you wont be hit by other costs from the car rental company which is often out of your control.
Be careful to rent the car with this company, they charge you additional (obligatory) "Refundable excess" 60 Euros and will not refund it.

I am thoroughly disgusted with the service and the booking that I have made with this company. My flight was delayed. I phoned the company in order to inform them on this. In response they chose to impose additional charges, initially telling me that they would have to change the rental company at no extra charge to me, then informing me of a price increase after I agreed to this. No effort was made to rectify the situation. In addition, the number that I was provided for the rental company partner (from where I was supposed to pick up the car) was wrong and could not be contacted. I would avoid this service in future and not hesitate to say it is the worst car rental company I have ever used

I was travelling from Phoenix to San Francisco and was able thanks to the professionalism, knowledge and patience of the staff at Economybookings to arrange the perfect vehicle for our road trip. I was a little cautious about using Dollar, because my only previous experience with them in the States had been horrendous, but that was in Orlando, and they tried every trick to sell add ons. Phoenix was very different, polite, efficient and quick. I still was sold roadside rescue but that was appropriate for the journey and was a prudent recommendation for a long road trip.
This is a rip off site. They quoted me one rate and once they had my information the total jumped 400%. Currently trying to cancel with little luck. Finally got through to them and they will email me a cancellation confirmation in the "next 10 minutes". Probably going to have to cancel my credit card now. Be leary of these guys. Shady operation.

Everything was excellent. The cabriolet we had rented, was too small for all our luggage. They let us use a bigger car the first day, so we could bring our things to the apartment. Everyone working at Dollar rent a car was very servicemainded. Delivering the car at the end of the holiday, took only some few minutes.

I booked a car over portal Economybooking - it was easy... too easy:
I was not able to rent-a-car at the location.
I do have visa electron, and rent-a-car companies refuse to issue a car despite my limit of almoust more than a car value.
Economy booking refused to reimburse what they charged.
The explanation was that in "general conditions" there is a note that thay will not reibures cases like this... Of course, general notes were visible only after you pay.
In conclusion:
-yes, I should of known better, but.
The fact stay:
- I did not get a car
-Economybooking cherged me full rental and would not reinburse, even when I mentioned that I would have understanding for some processing fee
-Economybooking did not pay anything to rent-a-car company
-Economybooking kept all the money... Nice business model Economybooking... very profitable...

The website is very easy to use and they have enough companies to give you a good variety of options. All the process is straight forward and without useless steps. You will receive maybe too many emails related to the rental (some of them of little use), but so far no spam at all (like promos, etc). I am pleased with the service they provide and will definitely re-use it again
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.

Please note that "Refundable Excess" is an additional option which You purchase with Booking Group company and it covers the expenses for the amount up to 750.00 EUR of your security deposit in case if You have made the damage to the rented vehicle.
You can always refuse to purchase this option on step 2 at the moment of processing booking. Also you can cancel "Refundable Excess" protection before the beginning of your rental period by sending a request to the [email protected].
