Please dont use this company! I booked a car, the a local hire company could not prove me with a car as no cars were available. I was told by local hire company that money will be refunded to me. I got charged for a car that Was never available to used and when I disputed this, I was directed to their terms of reference - no show and no refund would apply. Outrageous! Three months on I am still trying to get my money back! Please dont use this company!
They have no refund policy, if your plans are changed they do not issue a refund. I am writing my Attorney General and informing him of their policy I am also writing to all the major leasing companies and telling them of their policy. Also getting in touch with my credit card company informing them of this policy, I may not get my money back, but perhaps i will help other people to avoid this company.
Went to payless car rentals to pick up the car which i booked from this site and they said the Booking number is Invalid. Tried calling economy bookings customer service, they are not available till 3am est next day morning, answered after keeping me on hold for 20 min at 3.30 am(then they where so rude) and when I asked them on how to raise a complaint they just said me "Go write a review on our website"

My cousin passed away in San Diego so we needed a rental car for the visit. I went on to their site and all looked good until I paid for the reservation whereas the price was doubled. I immediately called and canceled the reservation and we finally received the refund Saturday, over 30 days and they still charged $25.00 for a cancellation fee. Total fraud as for as I am concerned.
Despite some negative comments on the website, my experience in Columbus OH was positive and flawless. I am a real car renter, not a shill for the website, and I have to say I had no difficulty whatsoever. I got a good rate, and everything proceeded as expected.
Another great rental from you guys. The staff was very polite, knowledgeable and professional. Had several questions about the surrounding Dallas/Ft. Worth areas and got all my questions answered. Great trip.
The company doesn't reply to emails and phone calls and they hang up on you if you have a compliant.

Used this company to rent a car with Thrifty. When I arrived Thrifty refused to rent me the vehicle under the Economy Booking reservation. I had to pay for the rental AGAIN, renting directly with Thrifty. Economy Booking will not respond to my claim for a refund. This company is unprofessional, and scam artists.
Haben 2 Wochen ein Auto an Weihnachten auf Antigua gebucht, Vermieter kam nicht. Telefon nur Anrufbeantworter, nachdem wir mühevoll jemand von der Autovermietung erreicht haben, diese Dame dann auch kam, wurde uns nur mitgeteilt, dass es keine Buchungsnummer der Autovermietung sei und es ein Auto zu diesem Preis auf keinen Fall geben würde! Zudem seien alle Autos bei ihnen ausgebucht. Nach einem nicht helfendem Gespräch mit der Internationalen Hotline (das Gespräch kostete uns ca 80) sind wir dann mit dem Taxi gefahren. Ich werde nie mehr über diesen Vermittler ein Auto reservieren. Für den Vocher ist das Papier zu schade auf dem er 2x geruckt werden sollte. Ich kann nur jedem raten sich vorher DIREKT mit dem Vermieter in Verbindung zu setzten und sich das Auto bestätigen zu lassen. Absolut unseriöse Abwicklung, null Hilfe der Hotline und am Ende doch ein teures Auto vor Ort.
I made a booking yesterday with EconomyBookings for a car in Los Angeles. They confirmed my reservation with Right Cars and after I made the booking, I checked the reviews for Right Cars and they are totally negative. They do not respond to telephone calls, there is no shuttle to their office and everybody had trouble with them, so I telephoned EconomyBookings to tell them this and to cancel my reservation. They will not return my deposit!
Κλείσαμε αυτοκίνητο στην Ρουμανία με πλήρη ασφάλιση την οποια και ειχαμε προπληρωσει και όταν φτάσαμε στο γραφείο ενοικίασης τιποτα απο αυτά που έγραφε μέσα η ασφάλεια δεν ίσχυε. Although the process of booking and reserving a vehicle went very well, I regret to inform you that we were not able to lease the vehicle. The cruise ship we traveled on experienced some slight influenza and, unfortunately, I was one of the passengers quarantined for the day we were in Puerto Montt. Very sorry that we could not take advantage of your service but issue was out of my control. Thanks!
The car was perfect for what we needed. It was actually a Toyota Yaris. Good mileage, easy to part, plenty of interior room for our purposes and plenty of get up and go when needed to pass.
The only issue, I was concerned about was the difference between full coverage service and the liability car insurance. Most customers, including me thought that the full coverage was the car insurance. Luckily, I had enough to cover the fee. But, I think that should be explained with more clarity to your online customers on the website. Also, my female agent was great explaining the difference to me. We have received a bigger car for the same money. The new deal didnt forced us to refill the gas tank when returning the car

I have given minimum stars only for the time and location of the car rental. In order to improve your customer experience either you need to inform him with bold for the pick up procedures or just take he telephone number form him in order to pick him up. This is my advice. Thank you
I was impressed that the agents met me at the airport to take me to their office to pick up the car rental. The agents were quick, fast, efficient, polite and professional. The car was clean and nice to drive. I would rent from them again.
My wife had to make a business trip but her car was under repair, so she paid a $50 deposit and was to pay another $154 on picking up the car. She was first told that another $200 had to be paid because we have the state-mandated liability insurance rather than first-dollar collision damage coverage. She was then told that she could not rent the car in any case because they do not accept bank credit cards but only major credit cards with a minimum balance. The business trip had to be cancelled and we are told that the deposit cannot be refunded because failure to complete the rental for any reason is a "No Show". We will certainly never have any further dealings with these people, and strongly advise others to avoid them also.
B******* - Still waiting for due refund debited from my AMEX card first on the 27th November ($29.40) and then adjusted upwards to $30.53 on 29th November after YOU cancelled the booking.

When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
