I booked a car today (9 Sep) to pick up from Majorca airport. I made the booking about 11:30 for 13:00 pick up. I received a booking confirmation email. When I arrived at the airport to pick up my car from Record Go I was informed my booking was not on their system. I called the economy booking phone number and was informed an email would be sent to resolve the matter and that my booking would appear after 10 minutes. 15 minutes later I tried again but was informed that my booking was still not on their system. I tried calling the Record Go office but an automated machine told me the office was not open on Sundays. I called economy booking once again and was told that the booking might be on the system in half an hour, but they did not know if and when the booking would appear on the Record Go system. With my booking now uncertain and running 55 minutes late I had no alternative but to make a new boing at the desk at the cost of 78. As there were no other cars left I had to take out this deal including the total comfort local cover, this was the cheapest option!

I am asking to be reimbursed for 62.18. (78-15.02, the cost of the original booking).

It was economy booking who confirmed I had made the booking, and then did not ensure my car was ready for me at the agreed time of pick up. Economy booking then failed to provide adequate information as to when or if my booking would make it onto the Record Go system and left me no choice but to make a more expensive booking. This left me out of pocket through no fault of my own.

I expect economy booking to take responsibility for their shortcomings and do the right thing and reimburse me the extra money I had to pay without causing me any more stress.

I got a reply from economy booking... they said I was a no show... they obviously don't have the brain power to comprehend my complaint. I've asked them to review it because I wasn't a no show... their system failed. But this is clearly too much as now they are ignoring me!

DO NOT USE!

Cancelled my rental 2 weeks before and a month later still waiting for refund. Other car rental companies refund in 24 hours even if you cancel last minute. Called many times and when you push 2 for reservations, it hangs up on you.

The worse company I've ever come across other than delpaso who are even worse which you wouldn't think is possible.

1st booking with delpaso and they tried to add lots of fees which meant it would of been cheaper to get the car from the airport.

No refund given.
I then as I'm desperately sat in Malaga airport book again but with Recordgo actual airport car hire company. In which Recordgo can't find my booking so this is this 2nd booking I've paid for and still no car.

Been in the airport 2 and a half hours! May have to get a train...!

I tried to make a reservation and just changed the name in about 4 mins and they charged me 56.00 because they claim the prices had gone up. But that was not true. They are not open 24hrs they sound like they are from another part of the world,

I rented a car in Madrid Spain, the car broke down within hours while I was driving on the highway. The car had to be towed back to the rental car place. I expected a full refund and it's been 4 months and I can't reach anyone by phone and I've sat on the phone for an hour waiting on hold. Do not use them.

I happen to save myself from their fraud, they will present you one price but as you get to the checkout page you won't notice the price change and they will charge you a different price. So be very careful. Don't fall for all the good reviews you see here, I wouldn't be surprised if these are fake reviews from Economy Bookings themselves.

Economy bookings suck

They are losers. Do not do business with economy bookings. They will rip you off. Like I missed my flight
And I had no control over losing my reservation. Yet I had to spend $240 to pay for a rental car that I could not use due to circumstances that were Beyond My Control.

Fraud Alert!

They present different price and once I made the booking I got another price. I immediately tried to cancel, before the order was confirmed, but it was impossible. My e-mails were not responded. I was charged 67 GBP for nothing.

We rented our car at Dublin Airport... the shuttle bus took us there and all paperwork was ready and amounts payable were as advised... ofcourse we were offered options of additional insurance / gps /etcetc... nothing was forced onto us... you either accepted or declined. The best news was that they had given us an upgrade... without us asking for it... which was a very welcome and pleasant surprise.
Would have been helpful if they had a petrol pump on site for customers to fill up the tank when returning the car!

They Don't Care About You

We had originally reserved a rental for 8 days through EconomyBookings, and after three days, were told to evacuate due to hurricane Florence.
After talking with the rental car representative, we were told that only through EconomyBookings could we receive any reimbursement.
I called, and after 20 minutes on hold I was finally patched through to a rather rude customer service representative who told me that maybe I should read the service agreement, and that any unused days will not be reimbursed. I was not rude, and I did not give any attitude that warranted this treatment.

We were so upset throughout the entire trip, and had hoped on receiving at least some of the money we spent due to the severe changes and rebookings we had to make, but it looks like EconomyBookings really doesnt care about their customers. I would suggest to just book through the closest rental car facility to ensure proper customer service.

The 2 gentlemen who handle the counter are great guys. They will joke with you as they complete the forms for you.

My problem this year has to do with the cart that used to take you from the crosswalk to you car doesn't run that far anymore and being unable to comfortably make that walk is this year as in the last 8 years is a problem when walking long distances is a problem. There is NO HANDICAP accommodations for handicapped folks from the counter to the car.

I have selected care specification which is 4 large bags and paid extra, upon arrival i had to wait for 5 hrs in airport finally they got the car and force to my to pay extra. I had no choice but to accept after long waiting time, when approached economy bookings i did not get any response for more than months and when i call them they keep me on hold for hrs although it is overseas call
They are none trustful, they give fake car detail and ignore customer, i strongly advise not to rent from them at all

Bad Customer Service

I had to leave 11 hours earlier due to a tropical storm warning in the area, so I called Economybookings to inform them of this change with hope of some sort of discount, but the representative was rude throughout the entire conversation then told me that I had talk to the Dollar Rental desk representative at the airport for any sort of compensation. I knew that was incorrect and they wouldn't be able to help me because I had booked with a 3rd party company (Economybookings). I did speak with the representative there who confirmed that Economybookings would be the only one to do any refunding. Had I returned the car 11 hours later I'm sure I would have been charged instantly without a bit of rudeness. Next time I'll book directly with the car rental to ensure I receive proper customer service.
