The deceptive practices trying to force you to purchase their insurance. I had my personal insurance card, but the clerk insisted she needed to see my policy. What insurance company requests the policy and who carries their policy. I had to call my insurance company, have them email. The clerk was rude the moment I declines their insurance and made my experience the worst EVER and I've rented vehicles, high end rental agencies and never had these issues. Then I look at the document to see they were about to charge me $1,000 deposit for a regular Camry and when I asked about it, I was told, "if I had purchased their insurance, it would have only been $250. Once again, trying to make you purchase their insurance. HORRIBLE and I'll be writing reviews to every outlet. I've already completed the BBB. Every Customer in the building was complaining about the how horrible Economy was. They have they right name, E-CON

Arrived at Cairns airport and our passport was misplaced, we have Canadian Driver's license with our home address, in English and a Nexus card with same. Within 10 seconds we were told we were wrong not to have our passport, and that they were overbooked, and no cars available. Alamo couldn't get rid of us fast enough and quickly explained that we will not be able to get a refund from them, its a third party! I will never book through EconomyBookings as we now must submit a request for a refund - basically beg for a refund. What a great travelling experience. Thankfully Hertz right next door did have a vehicle and oddly our documentation - English language wth a full home address and a valid credit card was more than adequate to take our money AND give us a car!

Bad experience with Drivus. It started damaging my trip upon arrival, causing me expenses, annoyance and tiredness. I contracted with the information that the rental company would be at the airport. False information. I had to find public transport and get around, as the office and car are in the city. I hired a medium sedan car, they provided me with a small sedan car. When returning it, they informed me that my deposit refund would only be made after 21 days. Anyway, lots of trouble!

Be very careful with this coy. It's a scam. I rented a vehicle never got any vehicle and they refused to give me back my money. It's a 3rd party company. You are warned. Very bad communication because they are a virtual Company. Refund my money I didn't get any vehicle.

Never book here, holding you refund for 30days due to high season unreasonable. I cancelled because I wasn't given full contract that Florida residents are not under the unlimited mileage until after I had paid need that money to book different company. Not a good look

I made a mistake in my booking and needed to redo it but in order to do that I needed to cancel my previous booking. This realization took place minutes after I made the reservation. I went to cancel my reservation and saw that my order was non-refundable. It's my fualt sure but this seems altogether unethical. They're going to keep my 241 dollars because I made a mistake about which airport I would pick up the car at. This is a trash company. If you enjoy your rental great, but do not expect customer service or leniency.

I booked a flight with vueling airlines and the baggage carrier that services vueling lost my bag, which had $3000 worth of gear in it. I have had zero help getting compensated at all for it.

I will never use this company ever again even if they were to pay me! I paid for a car rental 2 months in advance for a wedding. Upon arriving at the airport, I was told by the agent it would be 1-2 hours before they had a car rental available! 3 hours later, still not car and then the agent started telling everyone that they should start looking for another car rental company for a car because they still didn't have any cars! And to add insult to injury, Economy Bookings, after notifying them that I was due a refund because the car rental company had not cars, they took 30 days to just "look" into it and another 7 days for me to see my money back in my bank account! Ridiculous!

Contrato en ingles, no hablo inglés, concidero una estafa, tuve que alquilar en otra empresa y vosotros me habéis cobrado, cuando llegue a levantar el coche me dicen que mi tarjeta no sirve.

Alquile un auto el 14 de abril 2023 FULL COVERAGER con todo incluido en ECONOMY BOOKINSG, cuando me acerque a recoger el auto en EUROPCAR me hicieron pagar otro seguro de 225 dolares o 25 dolares diarios, y una fianza de 1000 dolares con la tajeta de credito, un camion me choco dando marcha atras, regrese a Europa pedi el reembolso del dinero por la cobertura que habia contratado, llevamos 11 de Noviembre 2023 y no se nada, he enviado todos los documentos que me pidieron y mas, llamado por telefono y nadie sabe nada y tampoco contestan los email, o sea una verdadera estafa, ESTAFADORES, NO RECOMIENDO

Despite pre-payment there was no car available on arrival and there's no way to contact anyone. Super frustrating experience on a really hard travel day. Will not be using this site again.

We paid over $3,000 for our rental. Received an email reminder last night about collecting our vehicle this morning. But when we went to collect, we were advised that the booking had been cancelled! Yet we received no communication about this (only emails confirming the opposite). We called Economy Bookings and spoke to a guy who clearly couldn't care less that we were now stranded in a foreign country. Economy Bookings took zero responsibility for completely stuffing up our booking. Instead he wanted us to pay a further $7,000 for another car! I requested to speak to a manager, he said no. I requested to speak to customer service, he said they only have an email address we can use to request a refund. Would never, ever deal with this company again. Horrendous service.

This comment concerns my booking with Economy Bookings for a car rental at Nice Airport on September 25,2023. I arrived at the airport on time at 16:00 and soon found out that the rental company (Sicily by Car) had no counter at the airpoprt even though at the time of the booking I was assured that the car can be picked up at the airport. I tried to call several times the assistence number given at the voucher but nobody answered the phone, every time I was redirected to the automatic answering service which was no help. After that I called 3 times the help desk at Economy Bookings but nobody helped me there either. I ended up making a last minute car rental with another provider at the airport which was very expensive. Next day on September 26 an e-mail was sent by me to Economy Bookings with request for a refund, since I earlier paid around 150 EUR deposit to them. Now after more than 40 days (!) nothing happened, I only got some automatic e-mail replies with promises to investigate. But no refund of my deposit, no apology for my troubles, no compensation for being forced to rent a much more expensive vehicle.

The customer is fully charged at the time of reservation by using any credit card whatsoever BUT, EconomyBookings accept MasterCard and Visa only. Upon arriving in car rental center I was suggested to pay twice the price of the original reservation in order to collect it - they charge American Express but don't supply orders paid with it. No car was rented, no refund was given. As it turned out later on, two of my friends had the same experience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this fraud!

In order to collect the rental car, the main driver is required to present the credit card which belongs to him and with which the order was fully paid for in advance. As it turns out

Picking up car was extra horrible. Although I paid online, it was 10 people in front of me waiting on cars for 2 hours. Then there was more people waiting after. The end results is, they didn't have any cars. I even emailed Thrifty and I haven't received a reply. It's called, "Customer No Service"!

My Booking No. Was B*******. After 6 months and more than 15 emails valid insurance claim not paid.
