Ebay will always side with a power user like Immospec, just because they have 1,500 listings. They need to protect their $$$. Ebay even deleted my negative feedback and denied me a refund for service I never received. Don't pay with paypal, use your credit card online so you can dispute charges. Ebay is very bias towards buyers, they won't refund you at all cost.
Ebay, one of the biggest companies that ship, if you can get into your account because some low life changed the phone number to a buzzy signal phone number, contacted ebay throu "chat" WHAT A WASTE OF TIME, you cant call, because NO ONE is answering the phones at all.
So now I cant log into or out of my account, but every time I go to ebay, IT HAS ME LOGED IN, until I try to buy something, then it asks me to log in, WHICH I CAN'T DO because of phone number problem
Had to buy as a guest, but know I cant track package, because it keeps taking me bact to my signed in page, that I cant sign into.
All help pages go right back to sign in page, NO HELP AT ALL
Don't trust Ebay! They remove listings AFTER you paid for an item without letting you know constantly, which indicates that many of their sellers are scammers! I had multiple items removed by Ebay after I bought them and had to fight to get my money back... their guarantee is a joke!
I do not have Paypal account however Ebays site use Paypal to make transactions to others using Paypal. This site is the only site that had my CC information and used Paypal for transactions. My CC transaction that I made on the same exact day was used by Paypal to pay for an Ebay transaction and within that transaction from Ebay to that Ebay user using Paypal my CC information was captured. There was another transaction within an hour of Ebays transaction using Paypal which charged my CC for $4,000... Some how some way my CC information was shared with another Paypal user that captured my CC information on the Ebay transactions. Ebay doesn't have safe or secure transactions this is very bad and needs to be reported. I am in the process of taking appropriate steps as Ebay hasn't stepped in and reviewed their transactions from Ebay clients using a CC to their Sellers that use Paypal for payment. I would highly advise not using Ebay especially if you use a CC as they seem to do nothing.
This is regarding my negative review of expired Turmeric. After much complaining, they finally issued refund.
I have purchased and sold many items on eBay, they are now letting scammers with a 75 percent negative feedback, continue selling and taking peoples money with no delivery of product. It is tremendously difficult to get you money back thru eBay and PayPal, PayPal has even closed their customer service so you are unable to talk to anyone. EBay want you to fill out forms which don't seem to go anyplace, sometimes you can't even get to fill out a form because of their form access problem. I will have to evaluate whether I want to use eBay in the future.
EBay is absolute garbage there is no security and there's a very good chance you won't receive your item and you have to go through lots of hoops to actually get your item or get a return to see your money again. There are a second rate Amazon. Its insecure garbage.
I ordered an item on eBay and paid over $85 by credit card. 9 days later I received an email from eBay that the order was cancelled by the seller (ataliag214), and that "I received a refund", which was not the case. 10 days after that I received another email from eBay stating that the order was not cancelled because "the refund to your original payment method failed". It's now been over 4 months since I placed the order, and there has been no refund. This is THEFT, plain and simple, and eBay's money back guarantee is worthless.
Hi everyone,
Just my experience hope yours is different.
I had started a seller account. I was doing ok; so I though for only having it for 2 weeks.
1)Then they suspended my account for no reason?
2) refunded people who had already been shipped items that cost me about $2500 dollars
3) The people are getting the refunds and the items to!
4) I am not getting reimbursed for this!
5) Now thier charging me for 200 free listings that they gave me in promo
6) I am locked out of my account with no way to add tracking numbers for things so I am certain they will end up refunding them as well
7) Sucks but I am going to have to put a lien on these buyers & eBay properties if payment or merchandise is not returned
8) Ebay really did the wrong thing here. I was doing nothing but honest business and they really dropped the ball on this here.
9) Ebay does not answer my emails and no one is answering calls.
10) We do not want to but we may have to seek legal action whereever We can.
11) LOL... Ebay just ripped us off like a thief and without hesitation or accountability on their end.
This is crazy! LOL
If anyone has an input about this let me know? I am going to eat about $3,000.00 dollars because of them. Not the end of the world because I have money but it is the whole principal of their actions. And they need to be held accountable.
Anyway,(Document Everything) (Everything) Something I learned a long time ago in business Ebay is not your friend believe me.
Thanks for reading. Beware they can do what they want when they want without any accountability or even reason. I was not violating Ebay terms in any way. My advise is to keep a spread sheet with all info as we did. And even take a pic and file it of each listing & shipping info so you have leverage if it comes to this experience I am currently experiencing.
Sincerely,
PPS
I made 2 orders March 30 and was supposed to be delivered by April 6 needless to say it's April 13 and no items. I emailed the seller Tashion172 and the seller stated it should arrive soon be patient and asked that I close the case because it will make they store look bad and has responded to nothing else. I escalate the problem to eBay for them to tell me I have to wait until April 21 before they will step in. I can't call anyone and customer service doesn't respond and now they just have my money tied up and there is nothing I can do about it. This was my first and last time buying from eBay I should not have to wait this long for my package the seller was misleading with the dates it will arrive. I could have ordered from amazon and know I would have gotten my package by now. I only did eBay due to shipment time EBay sucks and I'll make sure ever I let everyone know DO NOT SHOP EBAY and I better have my money soon I no longer want the items if could give both the seller and eBay a 0 I would but unfortunately that's not an option
I've been using eBay since it's inception almost 20 years ago. I have approx. 1,200 5-star ratings as both a buyer and a seller (mostly buyer). Last week I ordered something that was not delivered. The shipping information said it was delivered on April 1st, however, it also said it was still in the hands of the USPS at 2:54 AM April 2nd. I contacted the seller, they got back to me & said they'd look into it then never responded again. I filed a case at the appropriate time and eBay immediately closed it saying it showed as delivered. It also said "Final Decision". I was incensed to say the least. After following several links I saw a tiny link which said "Don't agree w/ this ruling? File an appeal." I clicked it and wrote to eBay. This time asking the to seriously look at the shipping information and that I was a 20-year loyal customer and had filed less than 10 claims over the years. Last night they wrote me back that they were refunding my money because upon further research they deemed my package had been stolen. I do not think they would have reconsidered had I not mentioned my loyalty to their site, but I'm pleased with the outcome. It took some extra work (remember, they are on a skeleton crew due to the current crisis), but in the end I'm pleased.
Purchased a desk floor mat on 04/06/2020, promised delivery date of 04/10/2020, live in Colorado, product arrived in Colorado on 04/09/2020, still waiting to receive product, today is 04/12/2020, promise delivery date is a farce, used only as a selling tool, how about some truth and reliasm.
Nuthing but junk scammers ebay helps take neg reviews away piss on ebay and paypal buyers save you time and money pay the 15 bux extra and get what you need
I bought stuff multiply times from this website and people that are selling has some pretty great prices also sometimes sellers use fast and free shipping for free which is great! But sometimes sellers wont refund, recently i bought some computer ram but the seller said he wont be able to ship the item in one month i told him i was able to wait and 2 days later it was the wrong model so i asked for a refund he did cancel the purchase but no refund
These whole ebay is a huge pile of sh*t! It takes 5 to 10 minutes, to log in. I have to type in my email and password 5 times, and between those this crap gives me it's stupid dump "games" of captcha! When I ordered something, several times my item did not even arrived or sent me the wrong item. If you have an issue ebay doesn't give a sh*t on you till YOU contact the seller. Than you have to wait several days if the seller solves your problem. If not then you can turn to ebay for a money back. Amazon sends the money to your account RIGHT AWAY and deals with the seller itself. I order from amazon for nearly 6 years, constantly... I had issue 1 TIME - but they fixed it right away. With this piece of sh*t website I barely did not have an issue. I think you will be out of the market really soon, bcs that's what you are, a pile of sh*t!
I have been a Seller on eBay with a Store for more than 10 years with over 2,500 Feedback. Over the years, I have watched eBay turn their loyalty to Buyers and they could care less about Sellers. Buyers can leave NEGATIVE FEEDBACK against a Seller, but you cannot against a Buyer. In any case; even with NO fault of your own, eBay sides with the Buyer and screws the Seller. Here are the latest 2 examples I have had to endure: (1) Buyer orders an item, I ship the item next day, the following day the Buyer messages me saying he wants to cancel the order because he changed his mind. BUYER REMORSE! I have a NO return policy and already out $22.95 for shipping. Buyer gets item, and says it does not match description which it clearly does. EBay sides with Buyer and I had to pay for cost of shipping back to me and eat the cost of shipping to him. This transaction I lost $46.00 on an item that cost $20.00. Further, Buyer threatened to leave Negative Feedback against me unless I bowed down to his demand to accept him canceling the sale and accepting the return. (EXTORTION). (2) I sold an item that clearly said in the description and photographs that the item I am selling was a NEW FACTORY SEALED ITEM but it expired in 2019. I have sold maybe 7-10 of these exact items to other Buyers without a problem. A Buyer purchases this item from me and when he received it, he claimed he had no knowledge it was expired. I respectfully told him, it says in the description and a photo of the expiration label was on the listing. He complained he wanted to return the item again not adhering to my NO return policy. EBay sides with this Buyer and again I am out $17.95 shipping + having to pay the cost to have the item shipped back to me. I lose $34.00! I am closing my account as eBay only cares about eBay and could care less about protecting their Seller. In any court of law, both sides are allowed to present their case and the Judge rules objectively based on the facts. The facts in BOTH cases in any Court would be ruled in my favor! With eBay, the Seller will ALWAYS LOSE! I am done with eBay and they lost a Seller who SOLD $36,000 last year with eBay. Moving over to Amazon!
I have been a dedicated eBay specialized seller for over 20 years and proudly maintain a 100% perfect record of excellent customer service. EBay recently imposed an unexpected listing and selling limit on me and I can no, longer serve
My established customer base. This means that each month, I can only list items that total a certain amount- and no greater! The new limit is $5,000, which basically KILLS my business as I only sell a small percentage of LISTINGS. The reason I am being blocked is in a very non-sensical & poorly written response:
"As per checking, all sellers on the site have selling limits because eBay wants to ensure that our sellers aren't growing too big too fast, which results in sellers getting overwhelmed and ultimately causing poor buying experiences."
Again, I have maintained a seller rating of 100% for 20+ years. The stated reasoning is entirely unfounded and a direct threat to my livelihood during a global pandemic. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get any seller help from EBAY.
Until they start to respect and care about the sellers who have made them fabulously rich, I cannot recommend EBAY to anyone - as a seller or a Buyer.
Is anyone looking at my email this is unbelievable not expected this from ebay. Where is my return lable im waiting from last 1 month atleast. And no one is checking up my email.
Sellers are taking advantage of the current Covid-19 and offering outrageous prices for what consumers cannot find in the common every day purchase at grocery store where items are not available. Ebay should not allow this. It is outrageous I hold eBay Guilty of this price gouging! I cannot add a photo but I was
I did not purchase thru eBay but the price is gouging the public and eBay should regulate this.
I tried to resolve an issue of not getting the merchandise but due to slow response for the seller and eBay, I could not claim the loss from UPS. They delivered to a wrong place and apparently wrong item since there a significant weight difference. However, eBay just close the case indicating that there is a tracking number... tracking number to a different city...
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
