I think, I could find better service than this. I fond all important things there. Not long ago I bought there a vacuum cleaner.
Helps small businesses & individuals trade... much needed platform.
Great customer services available through lock down.
Appreciative of both buyers & sellers.
EBay is the worst place to buy anything. They do not have any protection against the fraud or scam. Never recommended to any one!
If you do want to trap in any scam then please use the other websites to buy product online. Also the customer support is the worst. They will always try to convince you that its all your (buyer's) fault and they can not do anything against that. Scammers!
Please see ondonplaza add below. I have paid ondonplaza, with credit card. I never received my fast charger as advertised, I only received the cord [I could have purchased just a cord from the pound shop for £1
It clearly states on the $#*! Quote: SAMSUNG GALAXY GRAND PLUS PRIME -Fast Wall Charger&Micro USB Data Transfer Cable. Buyer Please beware, I only lost £2.99 it could have been a lot more.
Thanks John
Again.
Just purchased an iMac from ebay today morning. Spent £ 780 pounds.
Two hours later I get an email from Ebay stating this item was auctioned from a fraudulent account.
First thing I ve grabbed my laptop and searched how to contact them. Found it not easy to get connected to C. S. Once there ( 40 mins wait) the agent talks to you but you can tell he/she is trying to derail your thinking onto different path, Quite a few times had copy/paste answers type alike.
So Now I have my monies frozen for at least 2 weeks. 2 weeks of hell to find out what they will say.
Paypal useless also. :/ Blames ebay and vice versa. Im due full Ebay account cancellation as soon as I get my refund.
Lastly, another case that happened to me recently on Ebay as a seller. Word of advice. Avoid Global shipping programe. Once your parcel is not delivered in time, the buyer gets a full refund no questions ask, you are charged.
Read on google that there is a gap in the system where users abuse this programe by applying for refunds for items that didnt come ( they arrive but a bit later but it wont show up on the system) so the buyer gets a free item and you have no item neither monies.
Lastly huge charges, 10% ebay + 5% paypal ( ebay)
High return risk = $£ loss
Im seriously out of ebay. Been there since 2007, 750+ 100% feedback. Always been mega reliable super seller/buyer.
Its time to find new platforms, Be aware tho, Gumtree is now owned by ebay too.
( already had issues with my paid posts being removed without even 1 email notice)
Hope someone will find this review useful.
Peace 2 all
I am a seller on eBay for a while now, and recently I receive a return request although I stated I don't receive return. I reached out to the customer service s, but they side the buyer only. They ask me to accept the return request which I have to pay for the return shipping and full refund include the original shipping. This is ridiculous I wish I known this earlier
It is ridiculous to mention collusion between eBay and a reseller in a straightforward manner. Big organizations like eBay rarely fall in such a mistake which drastically impacts their image and trusts with their buyers. However, they do this (perfectly) unintentionally by two aspects: the ignorance and the trap of procedures. The ignorance by weak monitoring to the type of posting and the details where the buyers are victims at the end due to ambiguity and poor posting quality. The second aspect is the trap of procedures that they claim fair procedures for the terms and conditions agreed between the buyer and the seller which is unfair. I did purchase 82 times and faced many problems in contradictions in the posting that I lost my rights in returning the item. Furthermore, the sellers may design the page in a way to hide some terms and conditions that are not easy to read. When you raise a complaint to the resolution center, you get it an endless loop of correspondences with no avail end losing your money. Most probably, it is the time of falling the big organizations that it worth to find better alternatives in a small and mid rage with ultimate customer support and fair transactions.
Who hasn't gone through this song and dance before?
You go to sell an item on ebay, and usually, it's always the popular stuff that gets the worst buyers. You get a large amount for your item and think, "Great, that's out of the way." Then the buyer, probably some 14-year-old kid or deadbeat, either refuses to pay or wants to wait until payday. So you're waiting a week or so to get payment from some dirtbag because you just don't know if he will come up with the money and you have to give them the product.
Amazon doesn't work like this. Wal-Mart doesn't work like this. Best Buy doesn't work like this. Craiglist doesn't work like this. I just can't understand how someone who bid on an item and won doesn't have the money come out of their account away. That's just ridiculous. Worse yet, they basically have no competition so they can get away with this.
I will try to sell my used stuff on Amazon from now on, to be honest.
Trust me, my first experience as a seller facing a return SCAM buyer was enough to end Ebay for me. No support for seller. Return SCAM on $10.40 sold item cost me $32.63. I don't have time to describe the scam, just know that when you encounter a return SCAMMER, eBay will stab seller in the back, all in the name of the buyer guarantee that means the buyer can offer any bogus reason hoping that you will refund item (and they keep) rather than pay the ridiculous to and from shipping costs.
I st time ordering from Ebay. I ordered a large dog bed received a extra small. It came in the mailbox ripped. I ordered on April 11th received April 28th I tryed sending it back but the shipping was more then the original purchase. Come to find out the bed came from China they made it impossible for a refund. Ebay saying when you order your order is guaranteed. Ebay lied! It looked real good online but was not what i ordered. Out money take it from me shop else where. SHAME ON YOU EBAY
Purchased a tuneup kit for lawn more, the oil filter was the incorrect filter for my zero turn. Had to go buy correct filter from dealer, could not return kit as I used other parts. I ask for a $7.74 filter that neither the seller nor Ebay would cover. Used Ebay for years, never again, guess I wasn't worth $7.74.
I have had nothing but issues with ebay lately, not worth wasting my time. Craigslist could be better by now.
I tried to list some face masks on ebay which were surplus to requirement as bought for my business, which has now had to close due to virus ebay kept taking my listing down even though my price was much lower than others selling exactly the same items, I contacted them by chat to have a very rude attitude, I then asked for a a call, basically it boils down to it is ebay decision who they let sell, they couldn't share the information with me on how they come to their conclusion, I have looked at other sellers and threads on this matter and seems to be if you are a large company or corporation you can, if not you can't, so my conclusion is that ebay are allowing the rich to profit through a world pandemic so they also can profiteer to a large degree, they basically told me they had no obligation to answer any of my questions on thier discrimination, so shame on ebay their are people selling cheap bad quality products at extortionate prices and eBay are allowing this for thier own gain, may I add some of these sellers are new, I have been a member from 2012. Absolutely shameful from this Company.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND NO ONE CAN STOP THEM FROM DOING IT.
Be careful with purchases money back its not always an option,...
EBay has created a Buyer Beware style of commerce.
Cancelled orders with no refunds, explanation or efficient way to get things resolved.
I have been buying and selling for quite a few years through eBay, but the trajectory of this company has me exploring other options.
It's becoming a place of fraud... Buyers returning empty boxes and demanding a refund... Sellers cancelling orders and not giving refunds, and yet if you leave feedback for a buyer ITS POSITIVE when they clearly don't deserve a positive.
EBay has become way too controlling.
Proceed with caution using eBay...
I cant believe the prices and the greed ebay is allowing
I understand the need to make a living but to take advantage of people during a horrible time, everyone involved should be ashamed and held acountable
EBay uses automated systems to refund money or rate sellers. The automated system gives no account to what actually occurred. Too many buyers use scams to override the system and then the system punishes sellers for those reasons. On the other side, if you legitimately purchase an item and it is wrong or damaged, you will wait forever for the system to refund you.
Oh, just another unhappy ebay user. I know, I'm dime a dozen! What does it matter right? Just shop somewhere else.
EBay commits fraud. The delete REAL and honest negative reviews to help some of their sellers. They have a seller AAA_PCS that has had a few negative reviews, including mine, and the delete the reviews and claim that the review violates their policies but they don't and the won't even tell the writer why. Complete fraud
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
