Twice in the last month I had a package coming from Japan that they said that they attempted to deliver the package at my business but didn't even pull in the parking lot. SERIOUSLY! Customer service is practically worthless when requesting help. DO NOT USE DHL!
Dhl express is the worst service I've ever used. I had a package that was supposed to deliver on 6 January and now it is the 23rd and it's still in the original country, Brazil. I've tried to speak with him to see what is going on, but they just say it's a custom, but that is not true. From what I've read from other people take shipments from customers and then they send it the cheapest way possible and whenever they have space and then blame it on customs so they don't have to pay back customers
I shipped a parcel from India to usa which didn't get delivered, they said it's delivered but didn't provide me with any picture as proof. Rather than just not delivering the product they are very rude.
The worst shipping company in the world, first they can't deliver and locate the parcel from abroad that they have in stock, they ruined my medicines worth 350 euros. And now they can't deliver the parcel in the same country on time, your courier marked on the Internet that I was away even though I'm still at home here! Telephone service works in limited time and cannot communicate in English and Dutch, what's more, he doesn't know anything, so why do they work there? And the worst is the Internet Bot because it's the only one left after their ridiculous working hours and it won't help you with anything because it doesn't understand your questions just like the employees working there on the phone. What's more, I paid extra for the shipment to be delivered on time, you ignored me when you lost my medicines and again you are not fulfilling the contract and the opinions on the Internet do not impress you, so on Monday you will be in the Dutch newspapers.
I can't believe this company is still in business. Anytime I've ever had something shipped to me via DHL, the actual delivery time was weeks beyond the estimated delivery dates and that is only when I actually received my packages. Half the time my stuff got lost in shipping only to spend a month of getting the runaround between DHL and the company that used them as the carrier to ship my items. This outfit needs to pull the plug and call it quits. They can't get anything right. I would rate them negative stars if I could.
ZERO Stars. Think twice before you ship using DHL. They have zero accountability or regard for fixing issues. They give no protection or care if they are leaving customers out hundreds of dollars. I sent a package in December out through Staples by DHL. The package was going to Cabo San Lucas, it contained gifts (a valued name brand backpack, baby clothing, two Goorin Bros hats). The package was valuable and I ensured it to be safe. I paid over $200 to ship the package. The package arrived in Mexico and it was held in Queretaro, far from Cabo. Tracking said "shipping event". At that point - the receivers were told they needed an "import license" and had to hire a customs broker - I called DHL and they told me the items shipped were prohibited from being shipped into the country and gifts were inadmissible! Why wasn't I informed of this prior to shipping - I would have never shipped it!? THEN rather than sending the parcel back to me - it was held for a "period" of time, and tracking stated that an authorization request had been submitted to have the package DESTROYED! DESTROYED? Who authorized this request without contacting the shipper?!? Even with return address, email and contact phone numbers in this day and age? Customer service was of ZERO help, they said they made attempts to have the package removed from the "destroy bin" to no success. In this day and age this is ABSOLUTLY UNACCEPTABLE. I looks like the items were stolen in Mexico, or confiscated by customs - there is something seriously shady going on here. NOW Staples is trying to make an insurance claim for the value of the contents, and we are waiting. DHL - GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. Your company is awful and embarrassing. What has transpired is unconscionable. Now I am out almost a thousand dollars!
My first time ever dealing with this company and they delivered my package to someone in a whole different city from where I live and someone signed for it and still didn't recover my packages that had $200 worth of items in there. The customer service is, horrible with communication and following up and also I still haven't got my money back from the careless mistake this company driver made.
If you want to loose your business than use DHL, as we have daily 40-50 packages go out and every week we have nearly 5-6 packages go missing, obviously they have no security or any care in the world to look after their customer interest since 2 months switch to UPS and not a single package has went missing.
I placed an order with My provider, used DHL. DHL said that they delivered it to my home,and they did not! Upon further investigation it was delivered to a completely different address and a person with not my name sign for it.
Now they say that it is my providers fault because they gave them the wrong address.
That I found interesting since the driver had called and left a message on my phone telling me that my address did not exist.
So I feel the driver took it to whomever they felt like needed a package and dropped it off in my neighborhood.
I tried calling that driver back but they wouldn't answer the phone of course.
So now comes the headache of trying to get refunded and putting the blame on who the blame belongs to.
The unfortunate reality of crappy customer service anymore.
These people lie. Say you were not home. Multiple times! Say the address was wrong.
They have lower level people working for them. Be aware they are a cut rate delivery service that masks themselves as elite. Garbage!
I have written a 1 star review for DHL express on google. My package was delayed by 20 days for no reason and website kept saying delivery by tomorrow and didnt deliver. The customer service guy told me it is at fremont and confirmed via sms that it is ready for pickup on dec 19th 2023 and I went there and they said they can't find my package. Now it is been sitting there and no delivery from 20 days. The customer service is very rude and they have no clue. They accept their website is wrong. Please use fedex instead.
The worst company to ship your packages they got my address wrong multiple times and didn't even attempt to deliver them
I ordered medication for my cat from the USA a month ago through DHL Express. It's supposed to be transported on ice, and typically, it arrives within 8 days. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting this time. The medication is expensive, and after a month in containers, I can just throw it away since it should be kept cold. It's disheartening. When I contacted customs, they claim not to have it, but DHL insists customs is holding it. This has been my worst experience ever.
It's ridiculous. I used express shipping and paid extra money so it would get here faster. It's going to take an extra 5 days more to get here than the LATEST expected delivery date. My package has been sitting in houston, which isn't but an hour away from where i live and has been on hold for the past 3 days. My package would've gotten here sooner if i used standard shipping, which was a free option. Very disappointed and will NEVER be using dhl for a delivery again. Absolutely poor poor service.
Out for delivery on 12/22 turns into package on hold and won't be delivered until 12/26. Terrible service in the USA. Can't seem to anticipate holidays like their competitors do. Avoid whenever you can. I'm at al least a 50% issue rate with them. Unacceptable
Every time I have a delivery with them it never arrives on times I hate that SHEIN uses them bc my whole Christmas and New Years is ruined. I ordered these things in November and here it is December 22nd and I can't even track my order. They literally should shut this company down
Ordered a package from Greece and paid extra to have it delivered by Christmas. I then paid custom duties on the package. After 10 days in shipment, they have no idea where the package is according to a customer relations specialist. This after the order being updated as Delivery by end of day on the 18th, the 19th, 20th, and now the 21st. Also told online repeatedly that it was on the way and expected by end of day on each day. Now being told that no one has any idea where the thing is. Absolutely the worst ever company to have something delivered. If I could, I would give them 100 negative stars not only for losing my package but for lying while they did it.

It is truly disappointing to have to share my experience with the courier service, but I feel it is crucial to warn other consumers about the issues I have encountered. My experience with this courier service was absolutely dreadful, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided.
Earlier this month, I made a significant purchase of a Christmas gift for a 3-year-old boy. The selling company did its part and dispatched the product within the stipulated timeframe. However, the problem arose when the package was handed over to the courier. The 36 kg package was inexplicably lost.
Faced with this situation, I contacted the selling company, which, to its credit, sent a second package with an identical product. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue, as, up to now, the second package is also missing. The lack of communication from the courier makes it impossible to obtain information about the whereabouts of my purchase, which is extremely frustrating.
Apart from the evident incompetence in tracking and delivering packages, the negligence of this courier service is having a significant emotional impact, as the gift intended for a 3-year-old boy, eagerly awaiting Christmas, will simply not arrive on time. Not only that, but I am also facing the possibility of not being able to acquire another gift in time, depriving the child of the anticipated joy.
It is unacceptable for a courier service not to be able to fulfill its basic function of delivering packages efficiently and reliably. I strongly recommend that consumers steer clear of using the services of this courier, as my experience reflects a complete lack of professionalism and customer commitment. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this situation, and I hope my review serves as a warning to other consumers.
There was no phone number that is maned. Only automated voice service with limited options
On there web site it says that they have left me a calling card but there was none left at my house, I was at home all day and I have cctv too.
Answer: DHL always damaged my packages, I don't understand how they are still in business!
Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
Answer: Simply a NO useless unprofessional company skammers
