I had a small package from Singapore that was supposed to be delivered yesterday evening and the text was showing the truck was 5 deliveries away. I was waiting for it at home. Suddenly another text appeared saying Delivery was attempted and no one was at home to sign for it and the driver will attempt delivery again next day. DHL has the worst way of doing business, they seem to hide behind robots or automation with the same set of answers. You will find no human to interact with. After making number of calls I somehow managed to find out the driver had a truck issue.
This is what happened today. DHL sent text that the delivery is on the. The driver Jess or Jez appeared in my driveway, I opened the door and kept waiting for him to step into my driveway. He was on a video conversation on his cell phone smiling/laughing, not even looking in my direction that someone is waiting for the delivery. Finally he realized someone was standing in front of his door waiting for him. When I enquired if he was the same person attempted this delivery yesterday. He flatly said "Yes, No one was here and I left". He handed me the package and started walking away. When I confronted him saying I was at home all day waiting for it showing him the cameras that he never appeared at my door also added I knew he had a truck issue and why he was lying about it. This was his words " Look man I had a flat tire yesterday but DHL wants us to lie in our system that delivery was attempted. You can call my office, I could care less. It is what it is ". Now I know why DHL can't afford to hire people for customer service and depends on robot only. Shame on you DHL. You treat customers like garbage.
Very bad service the delivery service sucks big time there never tell customers that there have to pay duty until they attempt to deliver twice saying no body home we all home just waiting. Now I have to go and pay duty on my package to get it
This company is complete garbage. Avoid them at all cost. Their customer service has two categories: 1) non-existent and 2) unhelpful. You will wait a month to receive an international package.
Claimed address was wrong when not. Had to call multiple times to address problem, long hold times, still awaiting package after being told it would be delivered today.
2 out of 3 times I've used DHL my package has either gotten lost or been late. A perfect way to get scammed. I dont think I've ever seen a DHL truck actually on the road before, which explains quite a bit.
The supervisor Dahlia Alcala will lie and change your numbers just cause. She is also sleeping with Rogellio her team lead. So if you work with her or about to ask for a different dept

I am so upset with DHL service that I literally wanna say to everyone that never go with DHL you guys are liars especially you never train your delivery guys they don't do their duty what do you pay for then? Like my order never got delivered and it says the delivery guy tried to contact I mean I never got 1 single call or even a text I mean what? And then now on app it says the delivery guy tried what I mean what? I am so frustrated and I am going to write the same review on google and everywhere and will let them know to go with FedEx or other services but never DHL. This is the second time and please go with other services!
I received an email stating my package was delivered. Three problems, first I was at home, no one knocked on my door. Second I live in an apartment with a locked lobby and only 10 units pper building. Third, packages were already on the floor that were not picked up by tenants and had been there a week or so. Being a holiday, tenants were out of town. Fourth, when you go to file a claim, you have to do all the work for them as if they have no records. You have to contact the shipper, give them a tracking number and they will do whatever they do. Fifth, their onl;ine filing process is designed to drive you crazy because it accomplished nothing. I assume everything is designed only to pretend to care,
Anytime I buy from a vendor that uses DHL it arrives late, sometimes over a week late. I've tracked packages in the past and watched them be within a hundred miles of my town only to go several hundred miles further away then slowly make their way back. My current parcel has been sitting at their facility (3 states away) for three days now with an estimated delivery date still 7 days out. Make sure your vendors do not use DHL if you want your family's Christmas gifts to arrive on time.

I've sent a parcel from London to serbia to my parents! Serbian side is absolutely unprofessional, rude, and frankly a scam! Charged my old parents for their present parcel 10% customs, 20% tax, but on the entire amount (including dhl shipping from London that was almost £90) and not just the amount of a parcel content, and around 30 euros "DHL serbia services"
They also asked my old parents to write down what's in the parcel, how much it cost and to prove the payment for the items, wich is ridiculous as I fill in all of that before sending, and again, it is a present parcel...
I just can't believe the cheek of them and again, the rudeness when I emailed and kindly asked for the explanation... if i could give zero stars I would and I absolutely DO NOT recommend DHL as way of sending things.

DHL drivers steal packages and mark them as being delivered. Merchants please stop using DHL for deliveries
My package routing information continually says in route from Illinois. They must be driving my package at 25 miles and hour. It does not rake 4 days to drive from Chucago to Ohio. They admit that they do not up date their Information on their tracking site. They state they know they are doing a poor job. Also they apparently do not understand Englush. They tell lies stTing package has been delivered when it never was. Then next day is when it came. Packages now take 2 weeks or more when we used to get then in 3 days.
I feel that if the agent helped me evaluate my parcel, like other shipping companies, it would not have a problem at destination.

Missed my daughter's graduation item. Customer service lied saying it was going to be delivered by the end of the day even though was not on the truck. I could arrange a pick up if I had known. So the item I requested express and paid 70 for shipping will be delivered the day after graduation. Ruined a once in a lifetime experience.
DHL's Coldplay Tv advertisement featuring a woman singing a popular Coldplay song has caused millions to complain bitterly to tv advertising agencies and authorities.
American news networks have reported viewers are complaining in mass about the repetitious nature of the ads during popular tv time slots.
Viewers have complained they've been driven mad by the overuse of the ad featuring a DHL employee driving a DHL semi trailer through the countryside while singing the Coldplay track "Yellow".
Many of the complaints relate to the drivers poor rendition of Yellow and the excessive useage of the advert is killing the goodwill of the song for Coldplay fans
The advertisements have been aired in almost every available ad slot on TV's in every country on the planet rivalling the hundreds of millions spent on presidential campaigns in the US.
Coldplay members who approved useage of a small portion of their song Yellow in the DHL ad campaign have expressed surprise and concern when contacted for a response to the millions of people complaining.
Coldplay management and its music publishers said they would be reviewing the use of Yellow in the DHL campaign.
They expressed disbelief the ad had been rated and ranked one of the most annoying ads in tv history on YouTube and other leading social media platforms like Twitter and Tik Tok.
Coldplay says their music, fans and supporters take priority over sponsors and they wont support actions and decisions threatening that relationship.

I sent a box of Christmas presents from my home in Florida to my daughter in Ireland. The shipper used DHL for clearance and delivery in Ireland. I carefully wrapped the presents and packed the box, unaware that each item would be unwrapped at customs. Since I had room in the box, I sent stocking stuffers, some mail, and other little items of no real value. I was also unaware that each item would be itemized on the customs form, so each present was unwrapped, each item listed, and I paid 5 euros for each item after the first 5 items. Seventy euros - on top of the delivery fee, customs and taxes - just to itemize mail and chapsticks! When the box arrived at my daughter's home, it was unsealed and the items carelessly thrown in. It ruined my Christmas! DO NOT USE DHL!
Update on my package from Jordan.
After traveling from Jordan to Milan to Cincinnati, package was 1 hour from my house.
Package was then shipped to Guadalajara Mexico where it sat for 2 weeks. It has since returned to Milan and now in Germany.
DHL did more than drop the ball on this one.
Never will I ever buy from anyone using DHL as their shipping company.
Ordered a package from the country of Jordan. It shipped quick, went to Italy. Then the US. Cleared customs, On December 1st, it shipped to within 100 miles of my house.(Michigan). Next update... also December 1st,
Guatemala Mexico. 2800 miles from my house. It has been sitting there for 7 days now. No more updates...
I will no longer buy items that use DHL for delivery.
I wouldn't even give this company half of a star if I didn't have to give it. My order got mixed up at their warehouse and now they're putting blame on Shein. The order I received was ordered through Amazon by someone that lives 2 hours away! But they aren't willing to help in any way to get my items. It is my daughters ENTIRE Christmas and all they are concerned about is passing blame elsewhere, as if I haven't already done my research into whose fault it is. So I'm out $233 AND my child's Christmas... 11 days before Christmas.
DHL is the worst company to give your package to. I really think they act like they are delivering your package and don't then mark it delivered and I do not trust this company do not use this company to carry your packages don't!
Answer: DHL always damaged my packages, I don't understand how they are still in business!
Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
