2 weeks ago I attempted to utilize DHL's same day delivery. When filling out all the information and up to the point after payment their website showed it would be picked up at 1045 and delivered by end of day.
As this FedEx was for sensitive documents I was shipping for my CFO I was fastidious in watching the tracking. The package was picked up within 5 min of the expected pickup time by the promised courier. Even after that the package showed and expected delivery of end of the day.
Once it reached Denver the ETA updated to the next Monday. It was currently a Thurs. I immediately called customer care to figure out what was going on. I was told by the rep all their packages take 3 business days. I asked why they advertise same day shipping then and got no answer.
I indicated I needed the package returned to me then so I could FedEx it before 5 pm.
The request was put in. This was between 12--1230
Around 2 I had no had any alerts when the package would be returned. I called again and was told they weren't sure if they could get it to me. I explained how important these documents were and needed them do be delivered at latest tomorrow or they needed to get it to me today. I even indicated I would send them a FedEx label if the courier could get the package to a nearby FedEx store so they wouldn't have to drive the hour down from Denver. They denied the FedEx option and told me they couldn't do anything. I finally said fine and to have the package sent along and it would just have to arrive Monday. This would cause issues, but at least it would get where it needed to. They didn't get the package there until another day later after being told it would be there Monday for sure as they have flights going out all weekend. I filed 2 complaints directly with DHL with no response. This kind of customer service is abysmal. We set the package for same day delivery and it ended up being delivered 5 days later.
Drivers do not follow the instructions.

David, the customer service rep, did absolutely nothing. He answered none of my questions and abruptly left the chat. I still question if he was a live representative because his responses had no correlation with my questions after I gave him the tracking number. With UPS, USPS, FEDEX AND AMAZON, the world really doesn't need a LHD, HLD, DLH, or whatever you call it.
Lost packages, wrong addresses, broken packages, speeding in neighborhoods, late packages and all around just a $#*!ty experience.any company whom uses DHL for delivery service I won't use…. I avoid these people like the plague.
The system is BS! Made up tracking updates when the package doesn't arrive until weeks later; "two more stops" then a week later still not delivered. It's just comedy. Can't control what service people send me things through
This is the worst courier company ever to exist. Losing peoples packages and not returning calls,, DO NOT USE THIS COURIER SERVICE
DHL is the worst honestly so unprofessional they don't give a $#*! they don't care they move numbers and that's it. They will throw away your package and they will not call you. Terrible customer service. They will not send an email to you. They don't give a $#*! whatsoever. Literally the worst experience I ever had with mail it's always been DHL never never never again. Just use normal regular mail services they are so much better in literally any aspect.
I had a bear rug shipped from Canada to the US and had all my paperwork in order for the shipment (CITES Permit etc.) It was communicated to DHL to have the package inspected by Canadian customs prior to leaving the country. It also was wrote on the package in BIG BOLD LETTERS "Submit to Customs" and when the package got to the Cincinnati location, it sat there for 12 days saying "Clearance Event". I had to call them, then got an email address to email them to ask why it is taking so long. They then informed me that box 17 wasn't filled out by Canadian customs, which was their responsibility as it was communicated to them twice. They didnt do their part, now they are saying it will be returned to sender, and I need a new CITES permit, which takes a month to get... because of their F up.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND TAKE NO OWNERSHIP OVER THEIR MISTAKES, COSTING ME TIME AND MONEY... THEY DONT DESERVE ONE STAR OR TO EVEN BE IN BUSINESS AS A SHIPPING COMPANY, THEY HAVE NO CLUE!
Any time i have something shipped by DHL is takes 4 times longer to get to me or be shipped to it's destination than with other shippers/ couriers…. And they are never in co tact about any issues.
My package was returned. First it was very difficult to get to live support. Once I did I was transferred multiple time. Representative was not only didn't know why my package was returned, he was very very rude. He new he'll get away with it. Last time I ever use this service.
I was trying to find out where my order was since it had been nearing a few hours passed the planned times so i went to customer support to ask about it. My customer support agent was a man by the name of Josue and boy! Was he great! I mean he was completely professional the whole time and showed no passive aggression towards me just for asking some questions! But seriously when i tried to type my information immediately im greeted by him saying youve been idle a few mins i might have to close this ticket. It had been 2 minutes max and he did it AGAIN right after answering me to that. Its like youre just a pest they want to get rid of. I wish i never had to deal with these people to begin with.
This company too kind I live in a apt on the second floor. He came around 1320 hrs an I was at the gym an left my phone home. I informed the driver by text that he could leave it in the door but y'all this person was too nice. He left it at my second floor door I wasn't looking for it until tomorrow. So please find out who this is an tell him or her thanks.
Prescription medication shipped from Tempe to Lake Havasu City was mis shipped to Summer, Wa. Sent an email and was sent an automated email that was not helpful. If I don't receive my medications on time there could be deadly consequences
I recently ordered a sewing machine on Klieinanzeigen and delivered by DHL, and I was extremely disappointed with the condition in which it arrived. The packaging was destroyed and had clearly been repackaged,even though package was delayed because of repackage, indicating that it had been mishandled during shipping. When I opened the box, I found that the leg of the machine was broken, and several parts were missing. I can't imagine in which way it could be mishandled, so the metal leg could be broken. This was a major inconvenience, as I had been looking forward to using my new sewing machine for some time.
Now I have to spend additional time and money to get the machine fixed and obtain the missing parts. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the poor handling of my package and the lack of support from DHL. I would not recommend their services to anyone who values the safe and timely delivery of their packages.
J'avais une bonne expérience avec DHL jusqu'à ce qu'ils décident de traiter avec des tiers pour l'acheminement des colis à partir des points relais. Le $#*! de livraison est inimaginable pour une institution qui voudrait se distinguer par sa maîtrise de la logistique dans le domaine de la livraison. Il est vraiment regrettable que le service clientèle doive supporter toute la frustration des clients à longueur de journée à cause de mauvaises décisions stratégiques.
The delivery driver delivered my 250 dollar package to the wrong address. The address had the same number and a similar road name, but the actual road, apartment number, city, and zip code were all different. Extremely negligent service. I had to go get my package myself.
As usual, my package was not delivered. No doorbell, no note, no nothing. Asked the neighbours whose apartment window faces the street and who live right next to the outside doors if they saw a DHL van. They tell me no. I've lived in the Netherlands for four years, and not even once my package with DHL has been delivered. It is already a running gag between my partner and me- if we see that something ought to be delivered with DHL, we can be 100% sure it won't. And yet again, I was right!
Been waiting all day for delivery that needed to be signed for. 'Attempted delivery' at 11:39. Was home!

No delivery. Customer services now says Tuesday delivery. And delivery times are 'estimates' so basically hang around all day again

This is the worst delivery company ever!
They tried to deliver the parcel to my home 3 (!) times! All these 3 days I was at home! I didn't hear door bell which is very loud or any knocking, one day the paper that they had tried to deliver it was not even in the letter box or in the house but outside, on the porch!
Today I was waiting for the third time! I didn't leave the house and worked on the ground floor so not to miss it! It was absolutely quiet in the house and I called them being at the door at 16.31 to ask for an update on the delivery and I was told that the parcel was with the driver and it would be delivered by 18.00-18.30.
Then I received the notification that they had tried to deliver it but nobody was at the house! Guess what they tried as they say at 16.35! Really? I was right at the door!
They disrespect their customers, their customers' time and people in general! Absolutely awful service! I don't believe the driver was even near because there is no even a paper left that they had tried to deliver it.

Your driver with licence number B200TDT almost run over me ar 7:38 on Stefan Cel Mare Street Bacau, Romania, de overpass our line and cominig from over the double line he pressed in front of me that i need it to go to first lane not to get hit by him, i don't know if you care for such a thing but i will make sure to make avery complain and advertise this thing for everyone to know that for speedy delivery your drivers brake every law and don't care if they hit someone with a child
Answer: DHL always damaged my packages, I don't understand how they are still in business!
Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
