This is the crappies of all shipping services. They are always slow and never on time to deliver packages. I wish business would stop doing business with them. USPS, UPS are the top reliable services. FedEx and OnTrac are mediocre.

DHL is the worst service provider. Unethical, unhelpful staff. I had a pleasure time at the couriering office but later I got to know I was fed misinformation and was completely mislead. My receiver was forced into paying €150 to get the parcel… ridiculous and I hope they are made to shut down because that's what they deserve. They're not even worth the 1 star

Irritating

I was given a notification by DHL that my package coming in from Japan was to arrive on May 24, so I waited all day, but nothing. I proceeded to check my DHL app and decided to change the delivery date to the following day 5/25/23. This time I get an email and a text telling me that my delivery is close by and I can "track" it on a provided link. I kept tracking until he got to the street where I recide. I waited thinking he would ring the door so I can buzz him in and also if the door is open on the first floor he can just walk right in. I waited for a knock on my door or for the phone to ring which is connected to the front door. I get nothing! Next thing I get is a text telling me that " they made an attempt to deliver but no one was arround to accept it". I sat there confused. I called them but all I get is an AI telling me what I already knew repeatedly! I'm going to try and have it delivered again today 5/26/23, this time I'll be waiting outside my building and let see what kind of BS this delivery driver tries to pull.

They used to be very reliable, but service went down dramatically after they started to use third party delivery companies. Shipments have been delayed all the time and they do not know where is your shipment.

Incompetent system

I got informed that my address wasn't recognized 2h before the delivery (address exists and is correct), I was waiting all day for the package only to see last minute that it will be returned to the providers. I wish they would call me on the phone number (that they have) and ask about the address if they are unable to locate it, instead of returning the package. Or at least inform me in advance that the address wasn't found so I don't waste a whole day waiting for them

Unbelievably useless customer service!

Was expecting a package and unfortunately was in the bathroom when DHL rang the doorbell. I called their customer service number to ask if they could redeliver since I was home and the driver might still be in the area. They said NO. Monday would be the next delivery. They had no time frame to give me but they said to check on Monday once the package was on the truck. I called on Monday and they said that the package would be delivered anytime on Monday. Could they give me a time frame or am I supposed to stay home waiting for a package and not shower or go the bathroom because I might miss the delivery? No they would not be able to give me a time frame...just by the end of the day until 9pm! So in other words, use DHL as your courier and become a prisoner in your home and no, you don't get to go to the bathroom either! This must be a courier service established by the Gestapo! I will never use this useless company that won't lift a finger to help the recipients of packages. If I could give them a MINUS RATING, I would because they are that bad.

I ordered some yarn on may and it was sent via HDL May 1 it arrived May 11 at the shipping partner facility and kept saying on the tracking number that it was in transit said that it would be delivered by May 17, May 17 came and went nothing! I waited until the end of the week and still nothing kept calling HDL to see where my package was and they had no idea where it was. Every time I called them they came up with the same excuse "it's in transit" when the shipping partner is only less than 2 hours away I don't really think that it takes more than a week to arrive. Ridiculous!

I wouldn't give a single star if I could.

My package was supposed to get here on Tuesday. Monday night, I call to make sure so that I didn't waste my day waiting. The rep on the other end said there was no way it would get to me on Tuesday so expect it on Wednesday. I called on Tuesday mid morning because I got an email stating that my package had arrived to it's sort facility. I called again and she informed me that it would get delivered until the hours of 7 or 8pm (Tuesday). Well Tuesday afternoon rolls around and I get a phone call at 1:32pm from the driver stating that he's on my driveway... This began a never ending circle of phone call after phone call and more phone calls. Only to be left with nothing. This morning (Wednesday) I look to see if my package is out for delivery yet. To my surprise it has traveled an hour an a half in the wrong direction. This is after I canceled multiple appointments. Now at 4 pm, I am still waiting to hear anything back after I asked to have this expedited to a manager twice today. I will never purchase anything from anyone who uses this awful company.

WORST COURIER EVER

I ordered a package over a week in advance that was supposed to be a Mother's Day present thru a company that utilizes DHL. I was charged for express delivery for extra cushion in receiving my package on the date that I needed. As soon as I received confirmation from the company, I started to track my package thru DHL and also opted in to receive up to date text messages about the delivery. An express package that should have taken no more than 2-3 days has now taken over a week! IVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS WITH ANY OTHER DELIVERY SYSTEM. My package was in route for more than 2 days, they held it at a facility on 3 different occasions, it was stuck in a " delivery is scheduled for the next movement" phase for days without any further instruction on what that meant and to top it off their customer service is NOT available on weekends! So if you're unfortunate like I was, and need to speak to someone on even a Saturday morning ( which conveniently was one of the first days my package was on hold) then unfortunately that definitely won't happen. When I finally was able to reach someone on Monday morning, I kept getting vague answers and rude nonchalant responses especially from a so called Supervisor by the name of Jennifer employee ID 9204. I just wanted clarity on what was going on with my package and the only response was your package will arrive the next day. No empathy, no reason behind why the significant delay…just you will receive your package. This has ABSOLUTELY BEEN A NIGHTMARE! Please DO NOT USE this courier! Especially if you don't mind possibly never receiving your package. I finally got a call from one of the facilities and he was a nice gentlemen who finally admitted my package had so many delays because of short staff! All of that because of a shortage in staff and NO ONE from DHL Customer Service gave me that reason. A simple explanation and Customer Service dropped the ball. DHL really needs to buckle down and be more customer focused and hire better customer service there is way too much competition to act as if the people don't matter. I Will Never Use DHL and if a company i order something from utilizes there service…REFUND IMMEDIATELY

I ordered 1 month ago my package and they didn't inform me about it. They have not been able to trace the shipment. Since there are no further investigation possibilities, they said that were forced to close the investigation. I want a full refund!

Aweful Company!

I had to pay customs duties that were not owed due to an incorrect shipping configuration. Communication was very difficult. I had to call the customer service multiple times. I got different information from the different agents. They do not take any responsibility. The service was terrible! Do not work with them!

"Express" from Vienna

DHL, hands down, is the most horrible outfit to deal with - mostly because of their own processes. The employees (for the most part) are kind and friendly, but as confused as I was about why a package took a few days to get to Cincinnati and then 9 days in customs. Then, delay after delay after delay as it sat in warehouses on its way to a commercial address in Maine. While customs was no help, DHL communications were abysmal and I got the impression that I ended up knowing far more about how to deal with customs than they did. On top of that - they send constant "threats" that if customs isn't resolved it will "be sent back to origin" - while no one seems to know why the problems are resolved. Horrible horrible horrible stressful experience I will never forget and never allow to happen again.

DHL is the worst shipping company around out of FedEx and UPS. They attempted twice to deliver a package to me that required a signature, which I was unaware of, but I was unavailable, so I took off the next day to wait in person for my shipment. Sitting in my home, I got a notice they attempted to deliver which was confusing to me. I later found out they tried to get the apartment office to open the gate but they were at lunch. This shipping company sucks because they don't deliver on the weekends and I needed my package to ship to another state for Mother's Day because of their inconvenient hours of operation my package will arrive late. I plan to suggest to the company I purchase my item from to do business with someone else.

I set at home waiting on delivery for me to get text and email which stated that my address was wrong. I checked my email and my address was correct. Driver didn't put address in correctly and too lazy to look, because address is clearly on my house and garage. I called customer service right away for them to tell me driver can't come back. This is unacceptable customer service.

So, I bought a Birthday Gift, that was supposed to be in my hands today, after buying a gift from Italy, for my best friend' something to surprise her.
Now, after paying for the item and, over price shipping' I get a message earlier in the Morning' saying my items at Customs and, cleared' now, I get a send message' from DHL-$#*!' saying I have yo give them 25$ for Customs fees' so, I paid' now, after waiting all Funking day, I call' these Cock_Sucker's

Go and, turn around saying they're Not going deliver this and, it not get to there Monday, or Tuesday,

So, I said let me pick it up' they're like no….

These scam of a Company.

These lazy $#*!ing workers the dishonesty of these Company.

I am mad and now, talking like a Man who has no decent up-bringing…

They take your money promising a Express Shipment for Friday, to turn around basically tell you, go $#*! off' thanak for all the overpriced shipping and, paying their fees even though it's has been paid in Italy.
