Received wrong package, jewellery-ring vs. the watch ordered. The package with tracking number provided by seller had return address of PO Box 6368, Rosemead, CA, ******* USA. Please google search the address and there are numerous similar complaints. Provided picture, video, weight, dimensions proof but DHGate decided to close the case in favor of the seller. Lost $$$ for both the watch and Saphhire glass ordered. Really surprised though that neither seller nor DHgate will listen. Terrible customer service. Well,. Lesson learned. If anything goes wrong with the order, DHgate will support the seller. Buyer cannot do anything. Filed a case with credit card company and DHgate will directly talk to my credit card company to manage this dispute.

Don't ever order from this scam company! They promise delivery and you don't get your items or if you do they are complete crap. Fool me once and shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I am a fool, first order last year was complete crap, this time I tried to order some nice face masks, and they never came. No real customer service, in a online chat que for 2.5 hours only to get a rep who was typing from a script with only a list of excuses and no help. Luckily I only lost $73, but everyone should beware!

This isy 2nd attempt to get resolution on my order. I went on the DJgate chat page to get an update. After answering bot questions, the live representative came on and closed the chat without any communication to me. Worst customer service.

I ordered TWO items from a seller and for some reason they sent only ONE item to me. Seller has answered none of my direct messages so I started a dispute. Sometime later I got a message telling me I received the package even though I had made it clear I had only received ONE item in the package. Talking with the Live Chat they wanted the shipping label of the package I did receive, which of course I have thrown away because it's been weeks since I first got it. The representative then tells me that it's basically the only "proof" they are willing to accept and "could not give refund for that reason". What? I received HALF of my order, how is this something they "can't" give me a refund for? On top of that, I don't see why me having a label would prove anything! As I said there was only ONE item in the package when there should have been TWO. I can't make that any more clear and yet they are treating me like I did something wrong and telling me if I "can't provide proof" that they will "release the payment" to the seller.

SO WORD OF WARNING, never buy more than one item from a seller, because if you are missing things from your order you're probably not going to get any help from the site. I know I sure haven't.

Also, AVOID seller glassdiy

UPDATE:
They force released the payment even though I did NOT get HALF of what I paid for.
So just one last word of warning, I wouldn't recommend spending too much money on this site. When things work out it's fine, but if you ever have a problem you can't count on DHgate helping you, they seem to take the side of the seller 90% of the time no matter what. They truly do not care about their customers.

I want to start off by saying that there are many great sellers here that have given me no problem. As far as buying glass items, pipes, adapters etc I have had no problems. HOWEVER I recently tried to buy some tea from a seller named mcgretea and when I received the product a month later I found that the JASMINE pearl tea I had bought had no jasmine scent or taste like it's supposed to. I've bought this type of tea from many different places and I know what it's suppose to smell and look like and what they gave me was not what I had ordered. (also when I tried to brew it the tea leafs came out in smaller pieces as if they had rolled up inferior grade tea in an attempt to make it look better than it actually is.) I tried contacting the seller directly and the only thing they said was "The tea is ok" and wouldn't even acknowledge that they LIED in their products description. I tried to submit a dispute but so far DHGATE themselves have said

"You opened the dispute for the reason oftaste problems. We are sorry to tell you we can not handle these problkems as it can not prove."

(Yes, they missed spelled 'problems', how professional guys)
They have ignored me since even though I said that the seller LIED about their product. I've tried talking with their live chat and they were just as unhelpful as all they did was tell me to make a video as evidence and send it in.

I will update this review if I ever get a refund. In the mean time I'm leaving the 1 star rating. I would leave less if I could.

UPDATE 11/13/2017

After I submitted a video of the brewed tea leafs I was finally given a full refund. I still can't 100% recommend this site after all the hassle I went through to get a refund, but I won't say avoid this site either because there are good sellers on this site with good products. Just not the tea. Avoid the tea and the seller mcgretea.

Bought a pant suit in March. It was so far from the size I ordered, that I needed to return it. Two months later, I am still playing games with their inadequate customer service. As said before in these reviews, if you have a problem with your order, say goodbye and forget it. No one would respond to my concerns. When I did a live chat, the rep was rude and unprofessional. They may have a nice selection, but without customer service, it's not worth it. Such a frustrating process.
I would stay away from DHGATE.

Bought an expensive Lithium Ion Battery for my ebike ( 2019-07-26 07:44:26 Amount: US $352.09 Seller: jnt_ebikebattery Order NO: *******773) on DHGate. Six months in and fewer than 30 recharges later the fully charged battery would simply cut off while in use. Initially contacted the manufacturer per DHGate's recommendation. Manufacturer suggested I find a repair facility in the US since their repair facility in Canada was inaccessible due to virus. I had a running dialogue with the manufacturer through email until today. Now when I click on highlighted JNT_ebikebattery instead of their site and access to JNT's email I get all of JNT's items for sale on DHGate site. I saved all of the email dialogue but DHGate shows the order as closed so there is no dispute, escalation, nor mediation. What's really lame is JNT_ebikebattery is the only ebike battery manufacturer listed on DHGate but apparently DHGate washes their hands from any quality issues or warranty claims on their exclusive suppliers' products.

If you ever have issue with your order say goodbye and forget it. Worst costumer service ever. Please do not buy anything from this website. I ordered 2 pair of shoes and only one showed up i try to contact the seller no response for months talked to the costumer service they just make you keep waiting until they hear from the seller. Another fact is the seller that you buy stuff from will have different account in few months. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE >

DH Gate lies

Before I placed my order I inquired how long it would take until I would receive the order in Pennsylvania. They said it would ship right away via DHL and I would have it in 8-18 days. I placed my order April 14 for over almost $800.00. Right after I placed the order their website indicated the ETA was June 23. Good luck trying to correspond. You get broken phrases that says "Hello friend", "don't worry friend" but you can't believe anything they tell you. Now they say it has arrived at NYC customs on May 14, but they still have not provided me with a tracking number so I don't believe them. I will be lucky if I get it by June. You would do just as well by throwing your money out your window.

Dhgate Is literally the worse at handling cases. If you didn't receive your products and wants your money back, just forget it. If you receive an empty package and have a clear evidence and you expect to get your money back, simply forget it. Those situations are from personal experiences. STAY AWAY

Waste of time

For 2 days tried to place an order no payment would go through on the website
Tried countless times with 3 forms of payment
Spoke to 3 people with live chat and sent several emails that I had to dig up to find because you also can not email from the site no one could help

Stay away from this company. The sellers are unreliable and will ship you whatever they like. Customer Service is hit and miss, sometimes they will be helpful and other times completely useless. I ordered a product and request and paid for express delivery. That was 3 months ago. I am still waiting and DHGATE will not refund my money.

I bought one pair of Nike Air Max 95 from this site. This site is located in London and they are a complete rip-off scam and fraud. Once I paid them my online banking went off like an alarm clock because they charged me three different purchases. In order to get any answers you have to log in and speak with them via online chat. For them to look up your information they require you give them your entire debit card information. After talking to them online chat I got a call the next day from Chase and they had stopped and canceled my card. Due to the fact that somebody went online shopping and was placing orders all over the internet. So I would not deal with this site in any circumstance at all. They are much like an eBay where they have independent merchants sell their product and also ship their product so dhgate is not responsible for what happens after you buy. From my experience they stole my debit card they ran the payment three times and then unbelievably my Bank canceled my card after talking with a representative and giving them my information. As it sits right now my order is sitting in customs in China and it has been for the past week. Do yourself a favor and find a different place to order from. This place is beyond ridiculous.

I ordered a custom St. Louis Battlehawks Jersey. They said it shipped and even provided a tracking number that isn't working. DHgate is nothing more than a steal your money scam. I have sent countless emails to them, with one response. They expect me to log in to the account. I told them it wouldn't allow me to do that. I sent copies of my order and the tracking number that they provided, which should have been plenty for them to find out when my order is. All I am asking for is that the jersey I paid for be sent to me or, refund my money. I wouldn't suggest that anyone do business with these scam artists. The Covid19 excuse doesn't apply because they claimed it was shipped and should have arrived to me 2 months ago. Today's date is 4/30/2020. Refund or Jersey... make up your mind.

THEY'RE LYING TO YOU

This so called chat support "supervisor" named BARBIE just lied to my face! And she's lying to you too.
She said there's no way we can make reviews about DHGATE. Obviously they dont want their asses be exposed and people to see how poor DHGATE's refund process is and their poor process in general. What else of it that we are being lied about?
That your order will be delivered? It wont.
That the item is really what it looks like? It's not.
No quality issue? There will be quality issue.
No damages? There will be dent/dirt damages.
FORGET IT! DO NOT ORDER FROM DHGATE! Don't waste you money.

I still dont have my refund of C$603.70 and it's been 5 months now, it'll be half a year next month.
I paid for sewing machine that doesn't work the way it should, has quality issues too.
If you dont want this problem to happen to you, "DO NOT BUY FROM DHGATE!".

THEY LET THEIR SELLER CONTROL THEM WHICH COMPROMISES THE BUYER'S TRUST AND THEIR INTEGRITY.
