The delivery was standard though it pushed the date once or twice when I got closer to the time and I didn't get much tracking updates which is fine but it shouldn't bother with a date if it's not accurate. The jacket arrived and was in perfect condition, exactly how I expected/hoped it would be!

On-line ordering was easy and the helmet I ordered came in a timely manner. I had bought a helmet like it in the store and liked the quality and look.
I was trying to purchase a Helmet at the store. There was a representative that was helping me with that, he was not kind at all, his attitude was bad, short responses for my questions and not kind, definitely I would have bought a helmet If somebody else with better attitude and customer device would have attended me. I did not buy because of that.

Shipment got delayed two days, with very little warning causing me to have to change plans rabidly

Tires ordered on website and delivered to local store. No issues
The support I have received from my local Cycle Gear Store (Greenville SC) in particular by Brooke was outstanding. I had to go through several purchases and returns to get the perfect lid.
I went to Cycle Gear in Woodbury to pick up an item I ordered. The attendant working when I arrived said he knew what I ordered. He went back to a room and promptly retrieved a box, and with a big smile, said, "This came in just for you." He opened the box to show me the item since it was an open box purchase. Everything looked in order, and I departed. Another wonderful interaction!
This jacket, one size up, works great with an Alpine Stars airbag vest. Lots of mesh for summer... liner for winter...
Even though i placed this order on a Sunday evening, i didn't receive the package until the following Saturday. Two day delivery? FedEx had a complete failure. Picked up the package on a Monday and then it sat somewhere for 4 days.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
