I have a local cycle gear near me that I frequent when I'm looking to spend money on my favorite hobby. I use online to get things either my nearest location doesn't have or is an online exclusive and I've never had a bad experience online or in store.
All your riding needs all in one place, been to the Woburn location many times or order online and great experience either way.
My original order was not at my residence when I arrived home from work, and you guys gladly took care of sending another replacement order out and it was received and much appreciated
I paid for overnight shipping for my order. Unfortunately the order was split into two shipments for some reason. Only the first shipment was sent "overnight" which took 7 days. The second shipment was not sent overnight, and oddly it also took 7 days. Nowhere on the website when ordering does it mention that orders may be split and that overnight shipping doesn't apply to your entire order. Overnight shipping does not appear to be a reality.
Also, one of the items I ordered was supposedly specific to my motorcycle (rather expensive upgraded footpegs), but when mounted, one of the new pegs is 3/4" higher than the other. Weird. The originals were even, and when you look at them you can see that the left and right have different mounting positions. Custom pegs should take these subtleties into account.
The manager at the Cycle Gear store in Katy, Texas is a very nice very professional and very helpful individual. He helped me placed my order on the phone because I could not get it on the Internet. It would just not work for me so he solved that problem of taking the order and sent it to my house. I am a member of Cycle Gear. Thank you very much.
I ordered an Alpinestars SM5 helmet. The price was competitive with Amazon, but cycle gear got it to me days faster. It was just in time for my ride.
I went in for a particular helmet that was not in stock or available for order. Because I am a frequent customer, and have several conversations with your staff, they were able to recommend a suitable substitute and order it for me.
Ordered brake pads and tire online. Tire was delivered to my local store. The local store mounted and balanced the tire within 24 hours as promised. Great service at Cycle Gear.
Was looking for an item that was constantly out of stock everywhere. Cycle Gear was able to order it, in the right size, direct to my home. The Gastonia staff was helpful, friendly and professional.
Before placing my order, I spoke with a Cycle Gear representative and specifically asked for the compatible base for my motorcycle. He told me I had to make some adjustments; I had to drill a hole in the plastic of the base. I wasn't convinced by the box, but due to their return policy, I can no longer return it. In other words, I'm not satisfied with Cycle Gear.

Field Armor 3 elbow armor set came in quick to replace my old Field Armor elbow armor that was finally giving up the ghost. Great, friendly staff got my order squared away. And
All reviews said "six up" I wear a large" and ordered x-large it was to big on the top and the side. I ordered thicker pads hoping it will help but if it don't meant hopefully I can return for a large instead but super awesome looking Helmet just wished it for more snug. I needed a large instead

Been a customer for several years, most of them in Washington state, but have found the staff here in the El Paso store just as knowledgeable, showing the same care and service, and with Texas hospitality
Order arrived quickly, staff is friendly. It's these surveys I don't like, if the service was bad, I wouldn't do business with them. How about not sending out surveys for every order, maybe try every 10
Getting tires go 2 bikes. Bought one set in the wrong size and the exchange was super easy. Had one set installed and balanced. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff at local shop. I've been burned by the local BMW shop doing a crappy job, so I double checked the mounted tires on my home bubble balancer, and they were perfect. An overall great experience.
Because I tend to have minor issues with some online commerce, I went to my local Cycle Gear to see them in person. The size I required was not included. Stock, so the sales person ordered for me, on the spot. I received online shopping reward points, same as if had ordered without assistance. Shipped free right to my door so no need for return trip to store to retrieve. Bonus, if sny issue with order/sizing, rather than deal with return shipping, option to drop at storefront and have it handled without hassle. Cycle Gear, Baybrook, Webster, TX (Bay Area blvd). Wonderful staff, approachable informed helpful. Highly recommend.

I bought from your website cuz you get a mounting deal in the store… however this is the 2nd time the riverside ca tire machine was broke and they told me they couldn't do it. Why don't they fix it or have a 2nd backup machine. I then called Fontana. No surprise theirs was broken too. I then had to drive all the way to Fullerton to get it mounted and I explained to the guy if I can get it done right then and there because my local stores machine was broken and he said no it's a 24 hour process. So now I have to make two trips to Fullerton. Just not a good experience with getting it mounted

Needed to try on different styles to get an accurate size so went to local Cycle Gear to try on a few styles, found one I liked but was just a little small so ordered next biggest size from girl in store, when it got to me tried it on and fit was great, love the jacket
I ordered this dual controller to replace a decades old unit that finally expired. I like the LED readouts for heat levels and the fact that the knobs hold the selected position better, both notable improvements. LHopefully, this unit will last as long as the one it replaces.
Every time I've been to Bakersfield's Cycle Gear Isaiah and Nathan have been friendly and insightful when it comes to the gear. As a New Rider I Definitely appreciate all their help in answering my Newbie Questions and assistance ordering some of their products. They have Definitely made me feel welcomed and at home whenever I'm there.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
