The Cycle Gear employee was very helpful ordering a helmet I wanted that wasn't in stock. When it arrived and did not fit well, he was quick to process the return and refund. I bought a different brand they recommended and it fits perfectly.
I absolutely love the team at Cycle Gear in Plano. They are an excellent team, and John is one of most genuine people to work with when it comes to buying parts. Always quick to help. Always has a smile. He's been my go-to guy for all my orders and purchases at Cycle Gear. Great people, good product, and always a good price. I was told my product would arrive on Monday, when purchased on a Thursday, and arrived at my door on Saturday... two days early! Product was exactly what I purchased and absolutely love it. Delivery was confusing Very Confusing seems each piece came from a different warehouse tracking was cancelled had issues. I had to pay an extra visit to the store to confirm my order was active. Surprisingly it all came together OK. Also one tire had a manufacture date of 2023 seemed old compared to the other
We prefer cycle gear over similar suppliers like RevZilla because of their North Olmsted, Ohio brick and mortar location. The staff there are always friendly, helpful and responsive. For this last purchase, I dealt with Adam and the service he provided exceeded my expectations.
Cheaped out on gloves from Amazon as a beginner. These have been a huge upgrade over longer rides. Very happy with these gloves.
I recieved my order a few days ago, I tried emailing back but it wouldn't send to the email. It came a day or two later after it said delivered which is why I got confused and reached out. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I bought my helmet open box but I'm pretty sure when cycle gear took the helmet back they didn't inspect it properly because when I opened it the mechanism to remove the face shield was broken it was just pushed back in and sent back like that or something but it was broken like if somebody tried to take the face shield off but didn't know how to do correctly and broke the piece holding it.
1.) The salesperson was pretty good. Explained things and I was convinced the product was good, even though it cost a lot…!
2.) Upon arrival however, I was confused. I was not sure if things were correct as I was unable to operate the jacket.
3.) I drove back to the store and the salesperson showed me this missing connection that was a necessary connection to correctly operate the system. I had missed that connection.

I was looking for a new set of tires they aren't available at all retailers. The shipping was very fast and I am very satisfied with product.
I ordered a battery from a company I thought was in California with a three day delivery time, because I also live in California. Instead, the battery was shipped from New Jersey during a snowstorm. I received a notice that said that the battery would be a day late. That being said I am very happy with the battery that is now installed in my motorcycle.
Purchased riding jeans online from Cyclegear. The item arrived on time and as described. The fit of jeans are spot on and seems to be very comfortable… to the point that I was just lounging around in them after trying them on. Just wished that the jeans had come with padding… I guess sold separately. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Needed a new tire, used my cash back from being a member and the tire was at my door within a couple days. Took it in to be replaced and it was done within 24 hours!
I was in the market for a pair of riding boots that I can use on the street and on the track. The staff at the Cycle Gear in Pleasanton, CA, were super helpful in getting me sized up. Unfortunately, the size that would fit me wasn't available; so it had to be ordered. It arrived quite quickly and the staff was good in helping me put it on. I love this shop and I plan on returning again!

Ordered a set of Michelin motorcycle tires, one tire was nearly three years old the other was two years old. Not happy receiving old stock, will return them.
We understand this concern and hear it often. As the largest online motorcycle parts retailer in the country, our tires come directly from manufacturers and are typically already 3–6 months old by the time they enter our inventory. That’s simply the reality of modern manufacturing and global supply chains—especially when maintaining a wide range of brands, sizes, and models. It’s also why matching front and rear tires with identical date codes isn’t always possible.
The good news is that tire age does not affect performance when tires are stored properly. The idea that a tire begins degrading the moment it leaves the mold is a common misconception. In fact, most manufacturers consider a one-year-old tire to be “new” inventory.
As all tire manufacturers will explain, aging is a very slow chemical and physical process. When stored correctly (cool, dry, away from sunlight, chemicals, and ozone), unused tires can be sold and used as new for up to five years after their production date. Warranties begin at the time of purchase, not manufacture.
If having the freshest possible date code is a deal-breaker, the best option is shopping locally and inspecting tires in person—if the retailer allows. Our sister company, Cycle Gear, may be a good option if they have the tire in stock and you’d like to check date codes before purchasing.
Excellent store support let me know the part was available and offered to order it for in-store delivery. Then gave me all of the information I needed to order for myself online.

I absolutely love these goggles, but noticed that the clear lens was out of stock. I looked everywhere online and tried to call and confirm whether there were two lenses that came with these goggles as the manufacturers website state so. No one could answer this question so I ordered the radium goggles anyway. Sure enough there was a clear lens in the entire kit, as well as a lot of accessories that are not listed in the description on your website. I am very happy with my purchase, but would have liked to know that these other accessories came with the goggles..
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
