Was informed delivery had been made, but wasn't delivered until the following day … after it was supposedly delivered.
Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed a full set of gear. They helped me get fitted for my specific needs. I didn't feel rushed and they weren't pushy with trying to get me to buy a bunch of extras.
I've always come Cycle Gear to change out my tires. Always been happy with go service. On this last order though, my Pirelli angel Gt tires came on quick as usual. Tire change only took a day. However the actual tire install experience was less than perfect.
For the first time ever, Cycle Gear nicked/scratched my rim. I was very disappointed to see this. In fact I let the rep know about the scratch and he said that the order notes stated that the rim already had "light scratches".
That said, I take care of my rims and the scratch was pretty significant and deep (down to the metal) and I am sure it was not on there when I took it on as I am very meticulous about my bike.
In any case, I guess I'll just chalk it up as a loss, but I doubt I will be back to my next tire change.
Perhaps if Cycle Gear reads this an reaches out to me we can re-establish our relationship. If not, I'll have to take my business elsewhere which is a shame since they typically have provided quality service in the past.
We received our order so quickly, I was shocked. I didn't pay extra for fast delivery. I ordered it late in the day, and it arrived two days later. Great jacket, just as advertised. This is my second order and each time it's been a great experience.

Corey in Novi was spot on in getting me a better helmet and better fit for about the same money I had originally wanted to spend. I'm a senior rider and have gotten back into riding via E-bikes (that go Motorcycle speeds). All around it was a valuable learning experience. Can't wait to test out my new Cardo, helmet, gloves and protective shirt.

When I replaced my modular helmet with a full-face helmet, the Cycle Gear store did not have a size that fit me in stock. After trying several available sizes, the salesperson suggested ordering a larger size and having it delivered to the store. I expected delivery in a couple of weeks. I was surprised when it arrived in a week, and I was able to pick it up after work. Perfect fit and excellent help from the salespeople,
Bought A Battery a year ago went bad no problems getting it replaced, they told me only a 6-month warranty, but he checked the brand that I had and told me that mine had a 1-year warranty. VERY helpful

I was looking for helmets for my wife and I. I had an idea of what I wanted but was surprised at what I didn't know. Israel came over to help my wife and I.
My bride wasn't sure about helmets and that's when Israel went to work. He listened to her concerns, then showed her helmets to try on. He was patient and finally she got the helmet that was perfect.
He started to help me with the size of the helmet. I was thinking 1X and reality said 4X. Israel knew his inventory and could only show me a few examples. He said he could get the right helmet from the warehouse and have it to my home in 4 days. That's exactly what happened.

This helmet bag is awesome! It is perfect for my Bell MX-9 helmet (with visor), size XL. I had tried another option for a helmet bag, but it did NOT fit the helmet. I SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH THE THOR HELMET BAG FIRST!

I picked up my helmet from the store within a couple days of ordering it. I was able to try it on and do some additional shopping.
I know for a fact that the items i order were no more than 50 miles from my location because I saw them in person but couldn't bring them with me, so i ordered that same evening and the shipping came from almost cross country location.
The shoe/boot seems sturdy and well made for sure. The toe area is too narrow in which caused my toes to be cramped and in a little pain. Need wider toe area.
All went well with product, might be upgrading the armor on back panel, and shoulder, elbow locations, otherwise looks well and fits spot on.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
