Love the Quad Lock. Cycle Gear Murrieta always cool and helpful. They even went to the mailbox when I got there as the order wasn't in the store. Literally took like 5 minutes for everything.

Went in with a friend for them to buy gloves. On the way out I remembered I was going to need a new full face helmet. Modular a must. Lo and behold, the Shoei Neotec II was $200 off. Great helmet. Had tried it on when they first came out and was impressed. To find them on sale?! Great helmet.

As a first time helmet buyer I needed a place to try a couple on and learn a little about different types. Excellent customer service and selection, Didn't have my size for the one I wanted but I was able to try on a different color and they ordered one for me and had it shipped to my house. Definitely the only place for bike life needs.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
