So, bought my 60" Samsung 3D Plasma TV from Crutchfield after getting a great price, no tax, no shipping, no hassle, excellent customer service over the phone AND a FREE 3D Samsung Blu Ray Player.
So, I tried to buy a car stereo head unit to replace the OEM in my sports car at Frys. Big mistake. I didn't even make it out of the store with the unit I wanted to purchase and they lost a $400+ mobile sale and installation because of HORRIBLE customer service from all but one of the Frys personnel I came in contact with.
Moral of the Story: "Crutchfield Gets How to Treat Customers. Frys? Not so much. In fact, Fry's doesn't get customer service at all."
I recently purchased a Canon camera from Crutchfields. First I have to say their pricing is one of the best for online electronics, second not only free shipping but you receive your product very very quickly and well packaged.
It turns out my camera had some issues and I had to call. The phone is answered almost right away and by people that speak english. (just a fact of life folks)
Without writing a book, I have to say I don't think I have ever had such customer service, it is above and beyond any store I have ever dealt with.
Bottom line, don't look any further, you have found the best "little shop in town"
Crutchfield has the most knowledgeable staff of any company I've used for electronics. Especially there Auto audio experts. Their prices are also very good. They meet the highest standards in the industry for Customer Service and support as well as best products and pricing.
I purchased a parrot Bebop 2 drone and it was defective. So I asked to return it. They said they dont accept returns on drones they sell. Thats ok if the unit is ok but its defective. She told me I need to contact Parrot and they would take care of it. Its a defect that everyone that purchased this new device is complaining about and Parrot isnt doing a thing about it. I would never purchase anything from Crutchfield again!
Onkyo receiver: Purchased and replaced. The replaced unit work fine for a month. Then just randomly shuts off, called and told to contact Onkyo. Onkyo had me send it in for repairs. Came back and worked fine for a week. Called repair shop and was told to send back. Called Crutchfield and they told me I was out of luck since 60 days expired. WTF! Its been in repairs most of the 60 days. Will not buy any products from them again.
Well, i ordered the HDTV from them, price is good, though not the cheapest, quality is awesome, love them.
Ordered a Samsung 55" in time for the holidays. They delivered a splendid product. Fast and reliable!

I have used Crutchfield before and been happy with their service. However, I recently purchased a new car radio that was supposed to have, based on the add on their website, 50.00 worth of installation hardware free. I had already priced the radio elsewhere and knew that I could get it cheaper but was buying from Crutchfield because of their service. When my bill came I noticed that I had been charged 34.99 for the items. When I called to ask I was first told that the special had just started and the phone rep was not familiar with the programs details (?) I was put on hold and then, after a while, told that it had been discounted by 50.00 and that I had been charged 24.99. The extra 10.00 were for parts not covered in the "deal". None of that was noted on my invoice. It appears on the bill that the parts cost 34.99 and I was charged 34.99. If what I was told is true then a wiring harness and a piece of plastic cost aprox. 75.00! They knocked off the invisible 50.00 to help with the overpriced radio. I do like their service but the "deal" is VERY MISLEADING... probably because there is NO DEAL AT ALL. Thinking about returning it and buying from a less expensive dealer. Honor your "deals" or don't say you have one!
Purchased some high end stereo equipment from Crutchfield and couldn't be happier. Fast delivery and very well packaged. No hesitation giving them a 5 star rating.

I was on board with the idea. I had never gone through online shopping for car audio before, but thought I would give it a go for the fact it saved so much money. The only reason this isnt a one star is because there was one out of the 4 guys I spoke with that were well mannered and helpful. Sales initially quoted me for the wrong harness (a more expensive one) second guy corrected it; was kind courteous and seemed to know his stuff. I recieved the product, went through every step of the installation and had tech answer anything I was unsure about. After having it installed I had two warning lights come on. To this point I was calm, but once the tech started GOOGLING ANSWERS, I was very disappointed. For them to be experts in their field and their job to be problem solving solutions, which I am sure very similar problems would come up on a daily basis, to have to use google to search my car manufacturer, model and year for similar hazards coming on and see if anyone has found a fix to it really took away from the professionalism of the business in my eyes. After he looked it up and could not find a solution he asked me if I had these lights on before. No I did not. He responded with "well just because it happened after the installation doesn't mean it was because of it." He wrote it off as a fluke and became quiet. I had enough and ended the conversation. Not a happy customer and will be taking business elsewhere. I am glad I decided to test the waters with one piece of equipment first before purchasing the rest of my items.
Great customer service is only the beginning. They offer plenty of suggestions as well as a lot of helpful tips to make your experience great. Their representatives actually care about their customers and their customers experience. If you add all this up and factor in good quality products as well as the open box specials. This puts all of the odds in your favor to make visiting their website a pleasurable experience. Do not miss out
Although the radio installer instructions wasn't detailed, the radio works very good, great sound, good quality. I give crutchfield five stars.

Answer: I've bought outlet item for many years now and never had an issue or even needed to return. I'm pretty sure you can return if not happy with it. It says it under the price after you click on that item I believe
