It's not cheap if they keep you on the phone over 45 min. And still bring no resolve. I haven't traveled yet... but it should be interesting. These agents gave me a flight with a 30 min. Layover when the minimum is suppose to be at least 40 min. They claimed they called the airline and it's a valid schedule. (The first Rep. Said otherwise before passing me off to the night supervisor.) Save yourself the headache and go through somebody reputable.

We booked the flight tickets for 3 that is 6/11 from San Francisco to Washington DC on 6/3 and cancelled the reservation on 6/5. Since then we've received email confirmation on getting a refund.
A few days later we called and ask whether we'd be getting a refund back into our bank or PayPal account. The handler promised that we will get our refund back in our PayPal account on 7/7.
Before then, I've called them a total of 13 times on 6/5,6/14,6/19,6/22,6/23,6/26,6/29,6/30,7/1,7/2,7/3,7/6 and 7/7.
On 7/15 we still haven't receive the refund they PROMISED to pay. So we called them on 7/16, and they promised again to deliver.
Today is 7/25 and still, nothing.

Extremely disappointed. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING DOMESTIC FLIGHT TICKETS, SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT USE CHEAPTICKETS.

The devil's minions
June 10, 2015

Do yourself a favor and believe these reviews, customer service is horrible, the travel insurance company they partnered with is even worse. Customer service just doesn't care and all they want is to rob you. It was my first and only time ever using them. They are on the devil's payroll and he's paying them well.

My trip is in 23 days. I called my hotel to verify the european outlet converter i would need and they let me know ties were cut with Cheap Tickets and I was never notified. I booked my trip in March, they cut ties in April and cancelled all reservations made through Cheap Tickets. Cheap tickets did not want to take responsibility. It took an hour to get transfered to a supervisor. She tried rebooking me at a hotel hours away from my original hotel. Refused to pay for a room that was a slight upgrade and. She complained that she could not find a similar room at a similar price. OF COURSE NOT, I LEAVE IN LESS THAN A MONTH! The supervisor had the audacity to tell me she was going to cancel my trip all together! 2 hours on the phone for them to request I book the same exact hotel on Hotels.com, said they would reimburse me for my new reservation and it would take 5 business days for reimbursment. Nothing is in my account from them and now they are saying they "dont see" my proof of reciept from Hotels.com. They finally "find" my email and are just now processing a reimbursment that is going to take an ADDITIONAL 5 days! They are making this trip an absolute headache.

The hotel is still listed on their website available to book. Traveling to Greece has always been my dream trip and they have taken away from that.

The room was on top of a bar. There was music till 4 am. I couldn't relax and sleep properly. Cheaptickets bullies it's customers, and will take extra money out of you account. The superviser at cheap tickets called me a liar and hung up on me. HORRRIBLE. Worse experience of my life. They gave me a 14 hour layover with the worse airline (spirit) and finally there was extr
A charges once I arrived to get the car and hotel. Save yourself now and buy from another company

I've tried kayak.com, orbitz, priceline, etc. They're all about the same. Cheaptickets just seems to be my go-to. Maybe it's easier to navigate and read, I don't know. I usually buy my flights from here though.

The representative made a mistake booking on the wrong day.
They were not willing to change the ticket, and wanted to charge for the change twice the price of the ticket.
Do not use this company, representative do not speak English, located in China, or on the moon.

Deplorable
April 9, 2015

I had a trip booked to Mexico. I sprained my foot and was in a boot for 6 weeks. I submitted all my medicals, my Orthopedic Surgeon wrote a letter. I still could not get ANY of my $420.98 back! I called Cheap Tickets, Orbitz & the airlines. Due to me using this company, nothing was refundable. I am on crutches and in a boot and cannot even walk or drive. This company is a huge scam & they do not give a care in the world about serving customers to make them happy. Sad.

The agent over the phone booked my trip one month wrong on the incorrect date. It cost over $1600 because they booked it for the very next day when it was supposed to be one month and one day away. I had to re-book it again through United Airlines. I didn't even realize it until a week after the scheduled flight. When I called in, rather than apologize profusely, they kept me on hold for over 20 minutes, and then told me they would do an "investigation" on it. Their agents do not speak clear English which creates miscommunication and frustration, and are trained to be more robotic and as such, make mistakes quite a bit. Then, after the "investigation" they told me it was my fault after review because I confirmed it with the agent, even though they never sent me any proof, and I am sure that I gave the correct date at first, I didn't recognize the error later because we had to re-do it like 3-4 times because he kept booking the wrong flight. By the end, I was so frustrated, that when he repeated it back I did not hear the error. He booked the wrong date and losing $1600 should absolutely not be the customer's responsibility- period. If you have been wronged by this company, you need to post a review because accountability online like this is what makes them finally treat people with justice and respect they deserve, versus running over their customers because they don't think you have a voice. I will never, ever use cheaptickets again, and I advise you not to either.

Ask for a morning flight, get an evening flight. Ask to change the time, get charged more than the cost of the ticket. Worst outfit I ever dealt with. I'll never use cheaptickets.com again, and suggest you don't either. No customer service, just customer screwing!

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company. I was not able to download and print tickets from their email. Their customer service was a complete joke. They instructed me that they would put a "refund request" through but we all know that is code for "you are screwed and we will deny your refund". My little girls were heartbroken that they did not get to go to the game. I learned my lesson. Stay away.

My comment is based on actual experiences, two similar occurences with identical results. I book flights with them asked for seat assignments and they always said it was not necessary, even as I requested it again for my planning to reduce time at check-in, they insisted i do seat selection at check-in counter. Now once I arrived minimum two hours as per require, was told my seat was sold none were. Now as they are enaged talking to each other ignoring us, they most unprofessional, inconsiderate, and most deceptive, not to mention courtesy. They have an internal scheme to rob passengers, once you miss the flight they're happy to charge you extra for another flight. Do not go w/ cheap tickets they will make up for their lower rates never again, will not recommend to worst enemy, beware beware, cheap is robbing us!

I have just had the WORST experience ever in my life with a reservation. I had an existing reservation with three people traveling. Total initial cost was $2,900.00. I called to make a change to the return only with two of us doing one thing and the third party something else. I EXPECTED to pay change fees - no problem. The dude on the other end of the line said his name was "Dylan" - yet is broken English had me believing this was not the name his mother gave him at birth. Well after about an hour working on one part of this reservation, Dylan informed me that my change fee for the two people was going to be $883.00 - I said "ok", do it. Well when Dylan read back the itinerary, he had nuked my departure flight and I said "How the hell am I going to get to Albany from Phoenix?" Well Dylan then said he was getting my original flight back and the charge would be $1,036.00. I said "instead of the $883.00? - He said "Exactly". I told him again "ok" - Then my text message from Chase immediately alerts me that $1,836.00 had been charged to my debit card.

I then asked for a supervisor and Dylan placed me on hold again until "Lucy" picked up and identified herself as a supervisor. I told her I wanted me original flight back the way it was and $1,836.00 immediately credited to my account. She placed me on hold for about an hour until I picked up my cellphone and called and repeated the whole story to another low level operator. I sit here now, three hours into this on hold with two separate people. Oh yea, and I have emailed CHASE in between to alert them that the charge of $1,836.00 is fraudulent and I am not paying it... I WILL NEVER USE CHEAP TICKETS AGAIN...

Cheap Tickets customer service is terrible. They advertise prices that turn out to false. When you try to call them - which you have to make certain changes - you are easily on hold for 50 minutes. I have used Cheap Tickets for years, but their service has become truly terrible and they don't offer anything that other companies don't have. I would advise to stay away from them.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I purchased a round trip flight to Miami and it wasn't until I got my email confirmation did I see that the trip was accidentally booked for a one month stay rather than a 4 day trip. When I called cheaptickets they refused to modify my return flight and said I had to pay the same amount as the cost of a round trip. Furthermore, they also refused to credit the return for a future flight. I called the airlines and the were very apologetic. They informed me while they were unable to do anything, cheaptickets had the authority to fix the flight free of charge. Of course when I called cheaptickets back they still refuse to do so and insist they have no authority. I request to speak to a manager and he tells me he will investigate the manner which will take 7-10 days. It's been almost 3 weeks now and still no call. I highly doubt a report was ever even made seeing as I wasn't even given a confirmation number. I will NEVER book with them again and I urge everyone to purchase tickets elsewhere!
