Somehow we were routed to them and thought we were speaking with delta. The agent had an east Indian accent, and his name was Preston. The tickets kept going up in price on the phone by the minute, finally, the charge included a $132 booking fee to compensate for the increase. Total fraudsters beware, book with the airline, and suck up a few extra dollars at the get go. This is the only way you have control over your flight.
Do not use this company! I booked a 5000 vacation through this company they lied and said me and my family was sitting together, I found out through the airline company they werent! I paid for travel insurance with them and that was fraud! I called back and they said I could not get a refund! Now its left for Amex to fight for me! Being I could fly having a 2 year old sitting with a stranger, my kids could have been sitting with a child molester for all they cared
I can't believe this company is still allowed to operate. I had a flight to Hawaii big island where a natural disaster is going on and the home i was to rent has already been destroyed. I asked to change my destination to JFK airport and was quoted $2000. On top of the $1500 I already paid. When you look on the website it was only $1001 for me to book a new flight. This sounds like fraud to me. When you call the corporate office that number is disconnected and according to the BBB the address is not correct either. I have seen several reviews now showing others have gone through similar situations. This needs to stop. This company should not be allowed to continue to operate and treat people this way. Someone needs to investigate. The corporate office needs to come out of hiding and face the consequences of there fraudulent activity. You can't continue to up charge people. I will contact whomever i need to make sure someone looks into this so called cheap tickets and see if anyone can find the corporate office and the CEO..
I am trying to book flight from London to Kenya Nairobi and back. I see a price advertised as 639.00 then when you choose to book it goes up to 1080. 00 what kind of a trick is this? Is this legal I am going to bring this up to the better business bureau
A week ago I booked flights from their page and right after I had put all my card information and confirmed the payment the page went blank. I didn't get any confirmation or booking number but they had charged me 200 euros from the tickets and 3,50 from using my MasterCard and 13.50 from something that I don't even know. I have send them like 15 e-mails telling all the Information and called them many many times and they have said to me that they have refunded my money. It has now gone three days like the employee said to me but my money hasn't still come. I called them today again and they left me on hold 30 minutes and said again that it takes 3 days that the money will be on my account. I hope that I will receive my money but I don't trust them. Don't ever buy anything from cheaptickets if you don't want to get played.!
I booked a ticket with Cheapticket and requested a flight change. The customer service was extremely aggressive and arrogant. They said it was not possible. I called again, another operator proposed me a very expensive new flight and recommended me to purchase a new one. 1) the the first operator lied and 2) they do not care about their customers.

Our flight was supposed fo be in Sacramento and we were never notified of a flight change. Instead of Cheap Tickets paying for a shuttle to the nearest airport, we had to race to SFO & we barely made our flight. Cheap Tickets didn't update our flights back to SFO they wanted us to pay $2000! We had to fly to Sac, get a rental, drive to SFO & pay MUCH more for parking. We will NEVER book with this awful company again and their customer service is a joke!
Sent the wrong tickets... the tickets they sent were for WAY less desirable and cheaper seats than I paid for... then, the tickets to the lousy seats had apparently been double sold by this vendor and we were denied entrance and treated like criminals, the venue even called security on me... the whole experience was a disaster... my date was not impressed either...
Booked a package vacation which included flight and hotel with Cheaptickets. As we came close to our vacation date one of my child took ill. We called the airline who was very sympathetic and told us had we bought the tickets directly with them they could've possibly refunded us back some or part of the money or even a voucher ticket for a year but because we bought the tickets through a third party which is Cheaptickets we would have to resolved the matter directly with them. Resolving our tickets issue with Cheaptickets was a nightmare. Not only did they not consider the illness of my child they also refused to reimburse us back our paid hotel that they had booked us in which also was another unresolved issue. They had booked us into a guesthouse that upon arriving into the island they was no one to received our many phone calls at 3am in the morning along with us was also an infant. As a regular traveler this is the first and last time I will ever booked with Cheaptickets. Not only were they not helpful, they pass the buck onto the airline. In my opinion Cheaptickets is all about their financial interest. But what they really need to realize they are nothing without the people and these businesses thatst they giving a thumbs down. I've lost over $950 for airline tickets and luggage fee another surprise that we had no knowledge of from their package deals plus an additional $2,600 for a suitable and safe hotel because of Cheaptickets and its business afflicted.
My flight was changed to early time and I didn't get any notification about it. Of course I missed this changed flight. I didn't get any help/support/money for hotel or food from customer service. I had to stay 24 hours in this city and paid myself for everything. Completely disappointed.

I booked a flight paying extra for suitable seats. The seats were confirmed with your e-mail. When I checked-in and got the boarding pass, I found out that my seat is different from what was confirmed. If I would not paid extra for those seats I've picked, the price of the ticket would be $100 less. It is not about extra fee. I agreed to pay extra to be able to seat where I wanted to. When I spoke with rep. Paul, wasted an hour of my time, I was told that I paid for the flight only. I was trying to explain him that I was paying for two seats $50 each (looking at the map) He was telling me that cheaptickets doesn't sell seats and all I did I requested seats and I would be able to get those seats if they were available. On the map there were seats marked unavailable, available for no additional charge and available for an additional charge. I chosen those for an additional $50!
And there's no any itemization on a receipt.
When I checked-in online a night before the flight, my boarding pass showed different seats (non-reclinable, at the end of the cabin)

Seems like its team has difficulty comprehending my request for date change.
Before i have this issue, i was asking for the ticket but they won't send. They kept telling me to log in to MyTrip. But the login system did not work. I asked that the ticket be resent is because i had called up the airline for meals and i want to see it incorporated into the ticket. Finally they said "please see attached" BUT there isn't any attachment. I had to send a few mails just to get the ticket.

I rang the next morning many times before my call was answered by Sammy. She does not give me a direct answer to my queries instead she kept repeating the same thing and telling me the process of it that i need not of it.

We purchased tickets to a show that was happening in 2 weeks. The morning of the show I was called and told that these tickets had been double sold and the tickets were no longer available. When I called to complain they were not able to rectify they situation. 0 stars!
I book a flight to my brother, GRU - MIA - GRU and also paid the insurance since he need to went through medical clearance. The doctor recommend him not to travel and I communicate to cheaptickets that told me that I need to contact a third party, insurance company. After 60 days I did the call, no refund was paid, and the insurance company informed that they only paid if the person is hospitalized? I have the doctor recommendation in writing and was sent to AON, another catch. The insurance need to have some dead bodies to pay the claim... what a lack of ethic. Claim reference number *******, itinerary number **************... need to change the name to Cheat tickets
My wife wanted to give my family a vacation in Spain last June (2016). She booked three tickets and bought insurance. Due to a bushfire beside the Belt Park Way to JFK airport, we missed the airplane. NO SERVICE, NO HELP, NO REBOOKING, NO NEXT PLANE. It took days for us to get someone answer our phone call. Even we could not buy new tickets to go to Spain and use our return tickets two weeks later. $2400 were lost. A nightmare for our summer. My wife felt bad before us, I feel miserable for her suffering. Never go to this agency again. Hope you do not get what my family went through.
STAY AWAY! Cheaptickets is definitely a scam! If you just book with them and take your intended flight you might be ok. But good luck trying to change or cancel a booking, they charge horrendous "service fees" and don't refund you a penny. Not even if you bought the insurance from them at the time of booking. I mean how bad is that, they offer you a worry-free insurance and you would expect that thanks to having it you can cancel and get a quick and uncomplicated refund. But no they say if you have the insurance then you need to take it up with the insurance company itself and find out if your cancellation is eligible according to the terms and conditions of the insurance company which you didn't read because they were not presented to you at any time during the process of the booking. This is as bad as it gets because now you can waste a lot of time fighting with the insurance company and most likely end up with nothing more than more grey hair. BEWARE!
I carefully booked a hotel, checking to be sure it was refundable. My receipt stated it was refundable up to a certain date. I then cancelled before the date only to be told it was not refundable. I was on hold for over 2 hours with an employee who agreed with me that the site stated the hotel booking could be refunded if cancelled by a certain date. But they refused to give a full refund. Unbelievable that they can be in business.
I went online to purchase two airline tickets, one adult and one child, age 4. The first input took everything but the ticket numbers. I reentered one adult and one child age 4 before it "saved". I also purchased cancellation insurance. 36 hours later on Easter Sunday, I received an e ticket for one adult. I tried calling and was on hold for 30 minutes finally unable to complete due to holiday. When I called first thing on Monday, I was informed the cancellation insurance is only good 24 hours after purchase and that my grandsons ticket wasn't saved. I had no way to confirm that and was told by "Mike Watson" to purchase by phone if I wanted it to not be "tricky"! I then had to pay $507 for a 4 year old child to have a seat beside his father to get home with him!
Stupid booking fees / at least hire who can understand grade 5 English. Stop stealing money from people. They are talking about quality in their site. I do not think they even know the meaning of Quality and customer Service.
Answer: These are a bunch of crooks that are in the process of being sued and put out of business by our state's Attorney General... BEWARE OF THIS SCAM!
Answer: In this situation. I probably would. Just keep in mind that the sale is final and where you may be placed might not be a prime location despite what you pay. Unfortunately last minute purchasing can put you in a vulnerable situation.
