We bought our tickets for Hawaii a year ago through Cheap Tickets. A month before our trip Cheap Tickets changed one of our flights coming home from Hawaii. They gave us ten minutes to catch our next flight in Charlotte and we were near the back of the plane we were getting off of to transfer. So there was no way to make the next flight. When we called Cheap Tickets they were rude and told me they would extend the lay over and change it back to my original flight if I paid an additional three hundred dollars. I explained that my father had just died and I couldn't afford the three hundred. Cheap Tickets told me on that note we are cancelling your flights and hung up the phone on me. When I called back I found that my flights were cancelled and it would cost me four hundred to get my flights back so I could see my daughter get married. So I paid the money but now I will spread the word about cheap tickets and what they do to people. Please if you read this review don't get messed over by they. Don't use them at all go through the airlines. It's cheaper in the long run.

I booked a round trip ticket from St. Louis to Boise, Memorial Day weekend. The day before, I checked reviews on this site and they were the worst reviews I've seen for anything, ever. So I was worried. But I paid attention to my emails. I got updates from the airlines. I checked in online 24 hours early. I got to the airport 2 hours early. Right after I booked through Cheap Tickets I called the airline directly to verify my booking. I basically just did what CheapTickets recommended and everything went smoothly. If you expect CheapTickets to take you by the hand and do everything for you, then maybe there could be problems, I guess. But if you're a grown adult and do a tiny bit of homework for yourself, double check and verify, then Cheap Tickets is a useful and convenient service. If I get from Point A to Point B alive and on time, I'm satisfied. I never write reviews, I just wanted to alleviate worries for anyone second guessing this service.

Bought 2 tickets to go to New Orleans also insurance the airline cancelled the flight never got my money back everytime I call on hold for hours bad customer service can't not even try to get another flight they are very unknowledgeable bad customer service on hold for hours with no result

On the website was written free of charge when pay with credit card.
After paid charge 41 chf and no reply from the customer service after I sent the picture to show what was on the website written and what they charge us. No explanation from the customer service… only said no refund for things!
They were not informed. Unbelievable
Very much disappointed would be the last time for good with cheaptickets.ch

I had to cancel the flight because of COVID ban on the destination country, they will not refund and the refund its say its a credit but they will not give you access for it. When we decide to use the money they want me to add another 946 $ us dollars so the total of 2000 US $ Instead of 826 $ ticket on there websit no one to talk to but the chat that was four 6 hours please dont book with this company!

Terrible website! Don't use this stupid website lmao. Everytime i checked out the page reloaded and said „oops something went wrong". A few days later i found out the tickets were bought even though i had already bought new ones. I emailed them but they ignored me. Never got the money back!

Horrible experience

Cheap tickets canceled my flight back without let me know. They couldn't find the reason of the cancelation, they were blaming us. keep saying that we canceled the flight. They did not gave us the money back to been able to purchase another ticket.
Horrible experience I do not recommend buying your airplane tickets through them. They were very rude. Horrible customer service, very hard to communicate with them.

Its a scam

They take down your name your address your data birth and your credit card information including the CVC saying that you're buying a ticket on an airlines that never exists. They don't charge your credit card but now they have all of your information and I guarantee they sell it or use it

Theft company!

Purchased a ticket accidentally, went to return it an hour later, company told my bank they were gonna give me credit,(lied! Did this because I opened a dispute with them!) later when I went to book a Flight with the credit there was no credit! And they denied to work anything out, pretty much stole $670 from my account, theft scam company! Stay away unless you want to be dissatisfied!

THE WORST

Purchased a ticket for my college senior to go visit a gf in Dublin - flight got cancelled due to covid (March 2020) For the past two years, i've tried to get it refunded; either back on my card, or given a travel credit to my name (since I purchased the ticket - seems only fair) and I could have used it. BUT NOOOOO, the crap line of "We're all in this together" only applies to the when they want US to be understanding of their shortcomings.

They sent one email for a voucher for my daughter - which I forwarded along to her. Then come to find out when I'm trying to get more time... first they said she flew (total crap) then they said oh the Airline is responsible for that... called the airline and they said no the travel agent (CRAPPO CheapTickets) is responsible... so the ping pong war started and only resolution was I went the loser of a $600 ticket. BECAUSE it never got resolved... now they say its expired. Oh thanks for that heads up too.

I had a similar issue with Emirates - (same two year time frame of when covid hit and it seems all computers AND people stopped working). Finally got it resolved... their allowance due to covid was two years and they added an extra year till April 2023,

BUT EMIRATE HONORED THEIR TICKET AND GAVE ANOTHER YEAR.

MY WORD OF ADVICE WOULD BE TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE AIRLINES AND CUT OUT BAD OR HORRIBLE SERVICE SUCH AS THIS PARTICULAR ONLINE SERVICE or get a good travel credit card and book through their travel service - you get points and they stand behind their product.

They sold me a ticket to a flight, which does not exists with the airline booking code, which is not recognized by airline. When I asked for refund, they simply answered "please, contact airline for refund", which is impossible, because the airline booking code is not valid.

Worst flight booking experience I have ever had. Needed to change flights. Was awarded flight credit and received an email saying I could redeem this credit on cheaptickets.com. Attempted to redeem credit and it showed that I had no credit to redeem. Chatted with an agent and was told I needed to deal with the credit through the airline, not cheaptickets.com. I will never use this service again and encourage everyone else to avoid it as well. It is a flat-out scam. They are relying on customers getting frustrating and giving up or forgetting about their credit. Complete dishonesty on the part of this business!

I was planning on going to Europe with my girlfriend to Pop the question andThe problem arose when they scheduled scheduled the flight from from JFK to Istanbul and my and my flight to Sarajevo two hours apart. We try to call the Is cheap tickets to fix the situation butt but they ended up canceling canceling the wrong flights in flights and we were no fly no shows to the flight to Sarajevo Sarah yavo since they canceled the flight to Istanbul. Is after paying $400 is the dollars to renew our covid tests is we had to stay another night in New York then then the day after we had to pay more money to Turkish airlines since they're polyphony since their policy requires payment after no fly no shows Cheap tickets refused refused to help us out open cell so the only thing we could do Was asked for a refund I would never recommend them to anybody. I used them one time before with no issues but because of the headache they caused and the $2000 I spent with them I will never try anything with them again.

Once they have your money in their pockets they will NOT give a HECK about their customers. I bought a ticket from JFK to Paris for Dec 2020 which was cancelled because of the pandemic and now neither CT nor Air France want anything to do with vouchers of credit... My $580 just vanished...!
I had been using them but NO MORE...

I booked my car rental through Cheaptickets for my trip to Cancun. My reservation was for ~$340 but I ended up being charged ~$800 by Hertz Cancun. (Have a look at this business' reviews and you will easily conclude that they are a bunch of scam artists.) As an example, I asked for a number in case of a flat tire and they proceeded to add the unnecessary Premium Roadside Assistance. I filed a claim with Cheaptickets, but they were just pushing for me to deal directly with the vendor. I feel like I was robbed and Cheaptickets basically asked me to deal directly with the thieves they introduced me to! Horrible experience!

I had a flight and hotel booking. The hotel called and said they would be closed for the dates I booked. The hotel said to call the third party for your refund (cheaptickets.com). I did not receive my refund. I will never use them again.

Just booked an international flight for two on Cheaptickets.com for over $1500 and the stupid site gave me $10 cheapcash that I can't use for anything unless I book directly now another flight. I was wondering during the booking after I signed in of course why I can't use previous cash I had earned earlier.
After completing my booking, I searched for my "cheapcash" to find that it always expires. They give you the $10 per booking. It doesn't matter if it's for one or multiple tickets and it doesn't matter if the trip is for $80 or $1500. The funniest of all is that ithe cash expires after 30 days. They never tell you that before that this cash is only valid for 30 days. I wish they give this loyalty cash per person or as a percentage of the whole cost with of course a longer validity period like 3-6 months.

It's a fraud.

I booked a car through cheaptickets paid $178.47, rental company never accepted that booking. Cheaptickets customer service is absolutely useless, communicating with them is a clear disaster, they're basically are just bunch of unprofessional people barely speak English. I ended up paying twice for car rental, to cheaptickets and full price to Easirent to get a car, and so far cheaptickets doesn't want to return my money. Keep away from this cheaptickets fraudulent site. I do have receipts from Easirent and from cheaptickets, and I can prove I paid twice for the same car rent.

Terrible service.

I had ordered tickets and my husband and I got sick. I always take insurance. In talking t the insurance company they said I had to show proof I cancelled my tickets. After a very frustrating time a virtual popped up and when I put my trip info in said it didn't register. I said I wanted to talk to a representative and it ask me if I wanted to cancel travel something. I said yes, thought I was making headway and it said are you sure, I said yes. Here they ask me if I wanted to cancel my travel insurance but it was worded different then that. When I finally got someone, they said I cancelled my insurance. I did not understand what they were saying. I told him that and he put me on hold forever and I finally hung up. Why would they do that? I am calling because I am sick to cancel and they do that. I will never book with them. I couldn't take the trip and I lost my money!
