Bought headlights on their site in the winter, looked them over to make sure they physically looked ok and they did. Wanted to wait until winter was over to have them installed. Took them to a shop, who told me not only was the inside glass of the lights were broken, but that the wiring was all messed up and there was no way anyone would be able to attach light bulbs or install them in the car with that wiring. Called CarID to see about returning them or getting some sort of money back and they told me that there is absolutely nothing they can do and that it's "too bad I didn't know they were broken awhile back." First time buyer for CarID and the last time. So disappointed and upset with the $#*!ty customer service they have.
I would like to confirm my total satisfaction with the help given by all of your staff on my first order; it was no simple for me ( and for you, because of me) from FRANCE, but thanks to Molly, in first time, and this colleagues; everything was simplified and very well explained to me; I thank them enormously. Ordered an 18" Ford replacement re-manufactured wheel to replace an old rusty spare tire wheel for my 2005 F150. Wheel was repainted and clean. Product was delivered as promised in a timely fashion. Luis even price matched with a competitive price.

When I called to cancel an order because I had changed my mind, Kim was understanding and did her best to find what I was looking for, consulting another associate. Even though I finally got a full refund, I had to put up with pervasive lying by CARID employees, and the only people I have found more rude than these employees are those employed in government. For this reason and all the harassment I had to go through I will not do business with CARID again. I feel it is important to let other people know how business will treat you and this is totally inexcusable.

I have never had to deal with people who lie, are ill mannered, arbitrary and capricious as those employed by CARID. Especially * all of whom claim it is not CARiD error that their product was shipped a day after I canceled my order, it certainly is not my fault I canceled the order after all on Sunday, and the clip in that order was canceled but not the hose, it is CARiD error and/or reprisals that caused this shipment and return, not me. Any other claim is a lie and fraud, that these three above named will have their day in court now.

CARID IS A RIP OFF, THEY WANTED TO CHARGE $27.74 SHIPPING FOR A 4" LONG HOSE AND A SMALL METAL CLIP, SO I CANCELED THE ORDER WITHIN MINUTES OF PLACING. BOTH THE ORDER AND CANCELATION WAS ON SUNDAY SO I ALSO CALLED ON MONDAY BEFORE THE ITEM WAS SHIPPED TO ENSURE CANCELATION. THE CLIP WAS CANCELED BUT THE HOSE WAS SHIPPED LATER THAT DAY IN RETALIATION FOR CANCELING ORDER THEY ARE NOW CHARGING ME SHIPPING FOR RETURNING THE ORDER. TOTALLY OBNOXIOUS PEOPLE THERE THAT DID ME A DISSERVICE NO SERVICE THERE. WILL BE REPORTED TO THE BBB AS WELL.

Its obvious they have hired people or got their own staff to write a bunch of fake 5 star reviews. Take a look at each 5 star review and note the picture that is used to identify the reviewer, they all look the same with pics of animals etc.
I for one have had a terrible experience with CARid, their policies and customer service protocols have been troublesome for sure. Its been 4 months now that I've been dealing with them on trying to return some side skirts for my mustang. They were pure crap and they have stalled and given every excuse in the book before allowing me to return them. I am out over $400 and ready to launch a small claims law suit if they don't get their act together soon.

My issue was promptly and professionally handled. Within 1 day, I received a refund on an item that I accidentally ordered and it was immediately cancelled. I recommend CarID to all my friends and will continue to use them for my trucks maintenance.

This was my first time using CariD but far from my first time ordering auto parts on websites. Luis was extremely knowledgeable, patient and made sure that I could receive the part for a customer vehicle in the allotted time frame. Then an email from the shipping department the next day stating there was a delay, but I would still receive the part, one-day prior to my deadline. I will use them again, many times this year. I ordered a lead hammer from this outfit. Pretty straightforward transaction; plain as could be. They promised to notify me when shipped. Nine days later and not a word about it, I e-mailed. NOT TO WORRY; notice of shipping coming right away! Nine more days of waiting and I called them. NOT TO WORRY; we'll call you in three days. Nothing. It's now been three weeks since I ordered. I submitted the order number they sent me to their automated system. Their reply - "Order does not exist." I wasted 3 weeks on this outfit; don't you waste one minute on them. Why didn't I find this place sooner? I told them what kind of car I had. What accessories I wanted and how much I could afford and the customer service representative was awesome at giving me my choices and comparing options. This is my go to store from now on. Excellent service. Excellent prices. Excellent products.
I bought a brand new car and wanted some vent visors. The way this car is I decided my best option was to get in channel vent visors - even though they are not favored by many (because the way the chrome is on this car). I had them professionally installed and at the first opportunity I got to use them when it rained - water got inside my car on the front drivers side (I only cracked the front windows). I called in about filing a warranty claim since they were professionally installed a couple weeks ago - they had me send them all this stuff (pictures, VIN, problem, etc) and then sent a condescending email stating that I obviously had my window lowered too far. Funny they were both lowered the same amount and I have always had vent visors (never in channel before this vehicle) and this has NEVER been an issue. While their shipping is quick and prices are reasonable their customer service is lacking at best. I would shop elsewhere that would honor the warranty.
