I ordered Coosa Composite board for a marine project. The item has a ship date of the next day. I waited a week and called as I had not recieved a shipment notification. Customer Service put me on hold to contact the manufacture, she came back and informed me that I would have tracking number in next 48 hours. 3 days pass and I receive an email from CARid (Richard) stating that they could not fulfill my order product had been discontinued. I called the manufacture from their website and found this to be NOT TRUE. I believe they could not get the same pricing as before so they just lied. BTW, the product is still up on their webpage. I ordered it from another site.
I called to find the right CA legal cold air intake for my 2016 Ford F-150 4x4. I spoke with Xavier who was super helpful and friendly and got me set up with a AEM brutal force intake... I was able to quickly look up some reviews while on the phone and found that it is one of the top rated products! Xavier got me all set with free shipping, tracking number and most importantly the right item for my vehicle!

I bought headlights from you guys and not even the first day one of the lenses burn from the inside and the seals aren't even glued right. Then I try to get a replacement and you say you cant give me a replacement because it's my fault. I have replaced my headlights twice and had no problems until i bought my third pair from you guys. I loved going to your site but this was so bad I'm taking this to a legal team.

Very disappointed. Sent me the wrong part that obviously would not fit, and refused to exchange or refund. Talked to four different customer service representatives. Was on hold forever until was hung up on. Now stuck with a useless part and out the money. They do NOT strive on customer service. Go somewhere else. Only selected a 1 rating because a 0 was not an option

I was working with a Jason Nicolo on my wheels and tires he email man told me that they were on backorder and they didn't know when they would get them but I could pick another type of Tire and he would see if they could work with me on the price so I called and he wasn't there and I talked to Jeremy which took care of the problem but I wanted to thank Jason Nicolo for contacting me and letting me know first
Absolutely terrible I ordered two tail lights and they were ships from the same location same delivery service and they get here on different days. Why weren't they ship together in one package what a waste of money on their end, and a waste of my time

Experienced same just as Joe T. Stated. Lot of research for what? Guessing should have done more with CARiD?
Product price $71.52 for 8' bed rails and 0.00 S&H clearly stated in listing and through most of check out procedure.
Then upon almost checking out, apart from normal checkout area in another disconnected section on same page, states $145. And change for over sized shipping! Barely caught it before cancelling order. And, that wasn't easy. No simple "Cancel" button seen on website page.
Tried to contact CARiD about order. Place was closed even though states on their site open 24 hours? Convenient for who? Wasn't for me. You?
To realistically look at any online purchase, item price and any S&H need to be stated prior to checkout to determine actual product cost and budget. How is it fair for anyone if purchase price parts are hidden until later on? It's not productive for anyone involved. Especially for repeat business.
To me, this appears to be B. S. and can be considered underhanded scamming. There may be a cheaper initial price and supposed Zero cost shipping at first glance. But, carefully look and it's not quite so fair or simple after all.
Would rather deal with other companies who fairly state up front what all charges are prior to check out.
Have ordered several of same type, size and weight items from other companies in USA and abroad and never had an "extra over sized or over weight shipping fee" from any normal shipper such as UPS or FedEx for almost same exact items.
Be leery of another possibly costly thing too. CARiD requests the right to further charge your account later on if what was read on their site was correct. Please, read and reread.
Basically, buyer beware of CARiD? Too good to be true usually is and is also a red flag to be aware of. This time too appears to hold true to that advice / guise.
