I am very very disappointed, I wanted to book a room with the hospital discount as my dad is at Indiana University Hospital. The hospital told me to call Candlewood Suites directly. I called the number that was online for Candlewood Suites. I asked for the discount for hospital patient's family. Bethany Jane said the best she could do was $223.65. I asked if this was the actual Candlewood Suites front desk. Bethany Jane said no and stated that I could not book directly with Candlewood Suites. I asked for the direct number to Candlewood Suites and she would not give it to me until I booked with her. She said there were only 2 rooms left and then when I ask my family what they wanted to do Bethany Jane says there now was only 1 room left so we booked as there is a shuttle service provided for hospital patient's families. I feel like Bethany scammed me as the actual Candlewood Suites worker said that yes there is a patient family discount and the price should have been $162.63. So my dad who is very sick has to pay $61.02 more because Expedia would not give me the actual phone number until I booked. My dad won't let me and my brother and sister pay for this expense so I am deeply saddened by this experience. The only positive is now I know to never book with Expedia ever again.

Answer: I was just too tired to drive 90 minutes home. I needed to be back to this area really early in the morning, so I saved 3 hours of driving time and got a good night's sleep also!
