Thinking I was calling the hotel, I reached this person who represented herself as being with the hotel, but I now know was Expedia. She lied about seeing the block of rooms that were to be held for a funeral gathering, and lied saying there were only 2 rooms left! This enticed me to take the room, at what turned out to be twice as high as the blocked room rate. I had to call the hotel GM to get it cancelled without a 30% cancellation fee, and it was still weeks before the check in date!
I was frantic because I didn't know if I had booked a hotel for our tournament and Ebony did a great job walking me through everything and getting me and my family a place to stay! She was courteous and very knowledgeable. Thanks again.
