I BOOKED, GOT MY CONFIRMATION AND WENT TO GET MY CAR. THE CONFIRMATION NUMBER THEY GAVE ME WAS NOTHING CLOSE TO THE RENTAL PLACE WHO HAD ALREADY SOLD OUT OF MID-SIZED CARS. I WAS NOT ONLY FORCED TO UPGRADE BUT TRIED TO GET MY DEPOSIT BACK FROM THIS COMPANY... STILL WAITING... IS THIS A MONEY LAUNDERING OUTFIT OR WHAT?

I booked the rental car from this company, but I notice they don't have good service, so cancelled a in a couple of hours. After I came back from vacation, I notice they haven't refund me the money, and called them, they said, I have to wait for one month to get the refund... fxck, no happened to the other company. And today I checked my credit card, I found that they charged me $33 cancellation fee and call them, argued, they said the fee was stated in the term and conditions, which was hidden somewhere in the website, stay away from them, suck company.

As You have already wrote the refund was done according to the Terms and Conditions. This is right. Please see them below:
"4. 1. 1. When canceling at least 48 hours in advance of your rental, administration charge of EUR 25/USD 33 is not refundable. If prepayment sum charged upon confirmation is greater than that, the rest balance will be refunded within 30 business days of the cancellation date.".
Non of the Terms and Conditions of Booking Group company are hidden. They are provided to Your view at the time You do the reservation. Also they are provided in the Confirmation Voucher which You receive after the car that You have reserved is confirmed by the car supplier.

This company is very shady, do not rent from them. I was looking at renting a car from them a couple of weeks ago and put all my trip into into their web site. I wanted to see what the price was, so I put in my credit card number, but there was no reservation review page, just BOOM, car booked, here's your confirmation number, and oh, by the way, it costs 405.44. At first I thought okay, I'll just take it. But the confirmation email said:

"We received your rental request, but need to check that the car you have selected is available.
Availability status check can take from 10 minutes till maximum 2 working days. "

Two weeks later, I still have no information about my car or where to pick it up, and they've already charged my credit card. NOT COOL. And where is the "Bookinggroup.com" car rental desk or office at the airport, anyway? I've never seen one. Not that I travel a lot, but having no idea where to pick up the car made me very nervous.

I called to cancel, and a rep told me I have to email a cancellation request in writing. When I asked for the email address, he said he couldn't hear me any more, that my phone malfunctioned, and hung up.

I called back again and got the email address and sent them an email to cancel. Waiting to see if I get a refund. If not, I will dispute the charges with Visa.

The rates may be low, but these business practices are highly unethical.

Easy online booking
The easiness of online booking process and rates on this website are very impressive. There are usually many hidden costs when you rent a car but with economybookings.com you won't unexpectedly deal with, for example, airport pick up fees – everything is just like it is stated in T&C. They may set the example for many other companies doing so. I also called them by phone a few times and it was easy to deal with their helpful and competent operators. The car entirely matched my requirements. It was a great trip and I will book with them again.

We rented a car for a vacation in Las Vegas. We had to cancel the trip a month prior to the date. We had absolutely no problems with bookinggroup.com that we used for our rental car. We were given a 100% refund by simply cancelling on line. We had no questions or aggregations. I wish the same could be said for the rest of our vacation planes that were supposedly insured.

I rented car at two occasions from Rentalgroup.com during our vacation in Brazil.
If was a catastrophe!
First in Rio, the address to the office was wrong and when I found the right address they did not have any cars. It was a lot of arguing with other customers so it seams that not only I had problems.
Second, in Curitiba I took a cab to the rental office, but once again there was no office at the address stated by Bookinggroup.com. When I called them they did not know anything, but finally I manage to find the only office in Curitiba area some 50 km away. When calling there they did not even found my reservation. So I decided to cancel the booking and hire somewhere else. I called Bookinggroup.com and cancelled my reservation. Unfortunately it was pre-paid so I called them after the vacation to get my money refunded. After 10 calls they finally confirmed that it was there fault. I had additional costs on the other rental company due to late reservation, but they only agreed to refund my original payment. NOT the taxi to the wroong address, NOT the additional cost, NOT two hours spent finding another car and NOT my telephone costs.
AND so far, after 6 weeks they have not refund the money, 600 USD!
Boookinggroup.com IS CRIMINALS NOT a car rental company!
