In total, I can only recommend Economybookings car rental though. I would always use them as my first choice when coming to the island.
I had a terrible experience so far with bookinggroup. I rented a car through them for my parents.The rental process is deceptive and manipulates the customer. They "Pre-check" options for you on a side bar that are ridiculous and exorbitant. The insurance fee (which almost all US renters have already through their credit card) alone was $800 the same as my rental costs!
They break down the payments into installments and tell you you have "prepaid" so you think you are pre-paying for you rental and will get a voucher. But the "voucher", is not a voucher, you still owe another half the fees. Its all couched in the fine print but its incredible that a company could get away with charging such fees. Really $800 for a $800 rental?!
Customer service was awful couldn't speak to real person, It took 20 days to get an email response, and I strongly suspect I only got it because I initiated a dispute through my credit card. My parents (in their late 70s still have the rental ( nice company flightcar) and I am still trying to get these charges removed
I was really impressed with both the cost of the vehicle and the efficency of the staff. I will certainly be using your services again next time I visit the Las Vegas!

The car was very new and smelled fresh
Insurance is expensive to buy for full coverage
Hopefully will rent again if l get similar condition vehicle, and rate.
When booking be careful! Out comes a price, but in reality sara'quasi twice. Once you make the cancellation. The repayment is made after days and is reduced by an amount as commission. ATTENTION!

During making booking you accepted terms and conditions in which was clearly stated what is included to the car price and what additionaly you have to pay localy.

I was on my way to Boston last Wednesday for a business trip, I get a car online from the booking group. I get to Boston and kept calling the number they had provided with no success. I had to get a cab to the hotel and the next day, I kept calling again. I send them an email to get me my money back. I am sending letters to the local and federal government to investigate them. It is a serious crime to leave someone waiting for a rental cal in this weather, waiting for a service that they paid for and no one is available to answer the phone or provide the service. I am still waiting for them to call me and resolve the issue. To my understanding, they advertise well, but their delivery is very poor..

You had to contact our reservation department via 24/7 phone number +1 202 800 99 38 for decision of your problem. Our representative would contact Rental Company to hurry up them or to reserve car in another company with a same pick up dates.

We booked a car for our Florida vacation and never received any confirmation email so we started to wonder. My husband called and decided to cancel and was told we had to send an email to cancel. We never received a response from our cancellation and deposit refund request. I have sent a second email which I have no expectation of getting a response so am going to call my credit card company tomorrow and have the charges disputed. BEWARE and do not rent from this company.

Booking Group charged me twice the agreed upon price, and have refused (after 10+emails) to give my money back. Avoid this company if you care about money!

After they have your money they don't care to be of any help. I have been waiting 3 hours to receive a rental car from the company they are assigning their business with. This is far from acceptable.

Good service as long as you didn't make a reservation.
They cancelled the car reservation a few days before the start of the holiday with no clear information on the reason (different reasons were possible such as no car available,...). They proposed another car, but on a much higher price. Finally I booked my car at another company, but bookinggroup didn't refund the total amount that I have paid! I paid for a free cancellation insurance and I didn't cancel the reservation, but this not enough to pay the whole reservation amount back. You want to avoid stress of looking for another car less than a week before your holiday? Don't book then a car at Bookinggroup.

I booked cars for travel in Arizona and Florida through :'*******@bookinggroup.com.' A few days later I contacted them as I had not received a confirmation for my booking.
I received an "auto" response stating that they would respond within 10 days.
By that time my trip will be over!

Very bad experience with this Company. Don't rent car with them. When I went to pick up the car my reservation was cancelled for overbooking and now they do not want to refund me the prepayment as they are saying I did not pick up the car. Very interesting excuse!
