First, there is no way to directly contact a customer service department. That right there should give you pause. So basically if anything but perfection happens for you, you have zero recourse. Second, their website states they are available to chat with you. Which means their robot will shoot you worthless texts that do not help with your problem. So in a nutshell that's their idea of customer service. Hard pass! Tommy Bahama, awesome, Vineyard Vines, excellent, Nordstrom, helpful. You can do better. Trust me.
I ordered four pair of pants oh with 36 inch waist and only one of them fit me and all are there three were all different. It is very aggravating to order four pair of pants the exact same size and none of them are the same. I do not recommend buying from this company.
Fabric and cut are fine but, just like much of the reviews the button is poorly made and breaks off when trying them on for the first time. I removed them from the packaging and noticed the button was buttoned, when I tried to unbutton the pants the snap portion of the button was removed exposing cheap flimsy short teeth like crimp. I assume this is a real problem for the company, hope they can figure it out.
Really?
The snap on the front was broken the day I received it. I sent 4 email responses. They wouldn't refund. I had to contest on my credit card. It is a terrible company.
I order two pants, and I was super excited due to the media hype. Upon delivery, I went to try them on immediately out of the box. Both snaps, were stuck so tight, that when I tried to unsnap them, I tore them both right off, and they fell apart in my hands. I put them right back in the box and returned them. They were in my possession for leas than 15 mins. Birddogs is not a fashion brand or an apparel company. They are simply a marketing machine made up of millennials and tech nerds that excel in selling bull$#*!.
I ordered one kind of shorts from a link a Birddogs customer rep sent me but it confirmed the order for another type of shorts that I did not order. I saw the discrepancy immediately and flagged it to Birddogs straight away. I got a note the next day that it was too late to stop it and that I needed to receive and return it before they would send me the right order (apparently not trusting me). They also indicated that it was "customer error" even though I tried the link again in front of others with the same result. I will return the shorts when received, get my refund, and buy from someone else. They can then work on their cartoons without being interrupted by pesky customer service…
The khakis are super thin, they feel cheap and do not rebound. I figured if they are stretchy they would rebound back, but nope. They look great in the morning and a look like a pair of dockers when I get home from work (sorry dockers). The stretch would be around the thighs and knees, because of the lack of movement on the shin area they look baggy around the thighs and fitted around the shins.
Can't review on their site which is sketchy.
I have 6 pairs of their shorts and really like them. Sizing has been inconsistent between colors but overall great. However, their customer service is the worst I've encountered. I spent $95 on swim trunks and they ripped down the back seam my first time wearing them. My others have lasted years. When I reached out to customer service I was pointed to submit to quality. 2 months later no response and I've been following up every other week. Completely ghosted me and I've spent close to $400 at this store with more purchases planned for the future. Not anymore though, not for a company that ignores reasonable requests from their customers and doesn't stand behind their product.
I paid over $100 for a pair of Birddogs pants. After wearing them once, the snap would not open and I had to take them off the hard way. When I tried to undo the snap I cut my finger. I had arranged to get a return but when I went to Fed-X they were unable to pull up the RMA. I reached out to customer service and kept being sent back to the returns screen where it was showing as 'returned'. It is now past the 90 days and I'm stuck. Overpriced, poor quality, avoid.
I never tried their shorts, but do not buy their pants. Mains reasons: 1. Their button setup is super cheap, the one part of the botton that connects came off after only 1 month of owning these pants so now I can't button up my pants, only zip. I'm forced to wear a belt with these pants until i can see if the button can be replaced. Leads me to #2. Their belt loops are not spaced out right, so your belt can't reach the loop in it's final position unless you shift your belt to the far left which obviously looks weird. #3. Something about the material causes the pants to easily become super wrinkled quickly. For $109, this was absolutely disappointing and not even worth $25. I've been busy with travel so missed the return deadline and now I'm stuck with these pants. I will never buy fron Birddogs again.
I got a pair of these shorts as a gift. Both zipper pulls came off after 3- 4 washings. I've washed cycling jerseys with similar zippers for many years and never had a pull come off, so I know it's not the washing machine or dryer. Just cheap zippers on expensive shorts.
As if the product weren't terrible enough, the ads are even worse. The most annoying spam I've ever come across. I really hope that whoever is in charge of marketing dies after this company goes bankrupt.
I purchased a bathingsuit and after a few wearings the back seam became frayed. It has been a few months of emailing them and they will not get back to me except to say they will. I will never shop there again.
I bought $600 worth of Birddog Clothing for my son for Christmas. When he wore the shorts for golf the first time they pilled and looked terrible. I have ordered a few times because my son likes their pants but the shorts are terrible. I called for a return and got a list of what I needed to do to return them. Absolutely horrible customer service. I like this company but I will never buy another product from them. Bo, who I think is an owner should smarten up. I owned and ran a large retail and mail order company for almost 40 years.
I had messed up when I placed my order a few weeks back, and entered my mom's address instead of my brother's. It wouldn't have been the end of the world if I hadn't been able to fix it, but man I felt dumb. How does a guy forget where his brother lives when he's sending him his birthday gift!?! Anyway - some fella named Alfred was able to help me promptly with an address change before my order shipped! I was so relieved. Now my brother is enjoying his new favorite shorts and I don't look like an idiot!
Zipper broke after one use. The material feels like the material you get on a nurse outfit from a halloween store. Really really really bad product considering how expensive they are. Look elsewhere, you'll get way better quality for half the price from H&M.
Horrible fit, horrible quality I will never order anything from this company again. I would discourage anyone from anyone from making a purchase. The biggest disappointment, underwhelming product I have ever seen. Total garrabge
I typically don't have lined shorts or pants so when I tried Birddogs, I wasn't sure how I would feel about them. They obviously made the liner a priority as both my shorts and pants are probably the most comfortable in my closet! I pretty much wear them every day now and will pick up some more shorts for the summer!
I originally ordered some joggers which took over a month to get to me. They finally got to me and the sizing was completely off. I ordered a medium which in every other clothing brand fits me perfectly, I could barely pull these up they were so tight. So instead of waiting a long time to get a replacement I ordered the Stephen Jobs pants as replacements. The sizing and proportions are completely off with these as well. Waist is super tight despite me being a 32-33 and the legs are baggy even though I have pretty thick legs from lifting. The material is also always wrinkly, I'd have to iron them if I wanted them to look fresh. Essentially they are nothing like advertised. Great marketing, poor product.
I used to love their shorts and promote them to friends and family—until they changed the material and fit. The new shorts feel cheap (less breathable, less soft and less stretchy), and no longer have a tapered fit. I reached out to customer service to see if I just received a bad pair, and they basically blew me off with a very brief response then didn't answer my follow up email.
Answer: Its legit, albeit run terribly. Believe the horror stories you read in reviews about customer service. Its real
Answer: Yes. I would checkout Chubbies or Lululemon. Both are superior products, and they ship out when they say. And have amazing customer service.
Answer: Impossible. Days, weeks will go by if you somehow do receive a response. And if you do receive a response, they are very disrespectful.
