We monitor reviews for authenticity
Placed an order a week ago. Money was immediately taken from my checking account. No confirmation email or order number was ever sent. I reached out and was immediately sent an email stating that they recieved my ordered and thanking me and I was given an order number. When I go to the website to check the order status, it states that the order number is invalid. I've reached out multiple times and recieved no response. Absolutely ridiculous. I've given up on any hope of being given an ETA. Hopefully I get a refund from this horrible company.
No one should do business with this company - they have no customer service from this company at all.
I purchased a waterproof soft-shell jacket and waterproof pants, which finally arrived after more than a month after ordering. Both of the items were supposed to be sized medium, but both are huge. For example, I am 5'10" tall, and the pants are more than six inches too long for me. I cannot tell whether they sent me wrong size or if their sizing is incorrect, because neither item of clothing that they sent have any labels. No size labels, no brand labels, no care labels, no nothing!
I have tried to contact them via phone (the outgoing message says they will call back, but they never do), via text message (they never respond, but do send sales texts to me several times each day), and via email (no response other than more sales offers).
Don't make the mistake I made. Do not try to buy from Baerskin!

These people don't have any customer service, repeated calls (get disconnected every time), repeated email (no response) only to finally get an email saying order has shipped and they have the nerve to send you another email asking for a review on the shipping email, pathetic. Don't buy anything from these people if you are expecting to get your order quickly and have som sort of professionalism as it applies to customer service. Still waiting for my order to arrive, it is literally coming on a slow ship from China!

By way of background I live in Canada where the average winter temperature is -15°C (5 degrees Fahrenheit) with temps dipping as low as -40 °C. This company is really doubtful where product quality comes into play. The reviews are all exceptional only five stars? I am really disappointed and wondering how reviewers can comment that this is such great product quality, where neither quality nor service exists. They look cool but the military look is all in your imagination, but it's just basic fleece material, no cool technology here, no protection against the rain or snow. No wind protection, not warm at all, you cannot get it wet or it will lose what little insulating factor it might have had. Honestly buying a cheap hoodie will keep you warmer and protected better than this will. The ads made me think this would be the perfect jacket for fall and winter days. I can tell you the wind will rush right through it. If you wear the Baerskin hoodie in cold weather you most assuredly will freeze. This jacket is nothing special. The quality is garbage with loose threads at all seams. The wind freely rips through this material, and the drawstring on the hood is garbage. It reminds me of a laundry bag that cinches tight with a string. The hood is useless. The bungee-style draw cords, when used to tighten the hood around your cheeks, flop around your face and mouth as you walk - poor design. The wind will whistle right around your neck. Waist toggles don't tighten down and hold very well. The Pulitzer Prize fictional advertisement drew me right in. Kudos to the writer(s) of this inferior product who can make such a terrible hoodie like this, sound so amazing. Top notch fiction! It's suspiciously like a Chinese company shipping out cheap garbage pretending to be an American company. Save your money and buy the same exact thing in other brand names on Amazon, but with much better quality and better pricing. They have no phone number to call and only reference an email (which doesn't work) with their "safe return"… I tried to contact the company to return the hoodie, but you can't talk to anyone about returns, email only. Well they don't respond to emails either. I contacted PayPal with my issue, and magically I got a response from the con artists. Sure, they'll take back the hoodie as long as I pay for the shipping (buried under terms and conditions section 14). I said no. Then they said they would send me another hoodie at no charge or refund me 40% of the purchase price. Why would I take 40% back for a terrible product? Well if you take 40% and X it by junk, you still have junk and an unusable product. You have been warned; Caveat Emptor (Buyer beware). Do yourself a favor and Google bad reviews for Baerskin. Fool me once, shame on you.

I ordered 4 hoodies and after a long wait received only 2. I reached out via email multiple times and was basically told I received my order. I did not. I'm still waiting on 2 hoodies. The last few emails I didn't even get a response and there is no customer service number to call that I can see. It's a shame because I really like the product I ordered.

I ordered the bearskin hoodie about 2 months ago, and was told it would ship on 4/15. I contacted them on 4/18 and have not received a response.

My zipper broke about the 3rd time I wore it. It was a gift and I dont have my receipt and they would not honor the warranty. A rep there names Stephanie even promised to replace it if I sent the pictures, then they reneged on their word. I'm a disabled first-responder and I'm getting the word out to everyone I can.

Received one for a Christmas gift from a very sick person. It started with a cheap zipper, on the worng side for American use, or for women in the USA. It was only after a few uses, the zipper broke and cannot be used anymore, as one of the teeth fell off. I contacted Baerskin many times and finally did get a reply. They stated they had to have a receipt, I said it could not be obtained as the persont that purchased it was quite ill with terminal cancer. Not happy with that, I posted on another site and a company representative named Stephanie said not having the receipt was not prpblem, fo me to take a coupkle of pictures, send them in and they would make adjustment. I sent in two god pictures, an again they said they could not do it without a receipt, gt in touch with another rep, they said same thing. I cut and pasted the response from Stephanie over two weeks ago, and now no one will repspond at all. I'm a disabled first responder and really am not able to buy another, so perhaps this post will help. I will eventually try to tell my story everywhere I can.

The they said they ship to my correct address and never did, I tried for months working with them and I got a run around time after time. Loved the first but they improved the design so I had to buy another one! My favorite part was the change in location for the chest pocket so it went the other way. Now I can fit my Iphone in it!

This version has 6 internal pockets (3 zip pockets & 3 drop pockets), round toggles, arm zips moved to upper sleeves for ease of movement, and rubber tab adjustable cuffs.
It's made from anti-pill fleece which will not incur pilling. This refers to the little bubbles that you may have seen around areas where the fleece frequently rubs against the body. The anti-pill is of a better quality and ensures longer lasting.

They say its the last hoodie you'll ever buy. For that I can say is the truth. I stay in Scotland and believe me it's cold at least 300 days of the year. Baerskin does block out the cold bitter wind and keeps, the warmth tucked up in side the hoodie. U know how much heat is retained when you open it up and feel the heat slowly disappear. Fantastic products which live up to there name and excellent customer service when required to contact them, sadly to say I had too. Not through any fault of the Baerskin tak team, there service was emence. Well worth the money.

We Purchased 2 of these. Waited a long time for them. Now my issue is the main zipper. It doesn't stay closed. It opens from the bottom. I see from these reviews that other people have zipper issues Baerskin says I'm out of warranty. How convenient. I see in here they answer the reviews but all they do is talk, they don't fix the problem. So you're stuck with a hoodie that doesn't work. And at the price we paid that is a scam. I have hoodies that I have for over 10 years with no zipper issues. I will continue to post my reviews on this product and company on all social media platforms until they take care of my issue. And then try send me a survey to take on how my issue was taken care of. So sad.
