I went on the auto zone. 4266 E. Clinton Ave. *******. I bought wiper blades and bulbs cause one of my signals was not working. He put on wiper blades and refused to change bulb. It was raining he said they don't work out in rain. But he put wipers on. It was only sprinkling. So I called another autozone they said that is not true. So I went to the AutoZone on Gettysburg Ave. Fresno CA. The young man there his name Andrew put bulb in. It only took a few seconds. And it was still raining. Hire employees that help people at 4266 E. Clinton. I am a female. But make sure the employees do there job. Will never return to this store and I will tell other people if they ask me about 4266 E. Clinton. *******. I would like to thank Andrew for putting the bulb in there for me. He works at the one at Gettysburg and first Street. Thanks Andrew again.
My father and I were going about our day and we ran to auto parts to return a part to the store. As we walked in we got stuck with the same woman who gave us issues last time. Apparently her name isle Suzie but she probably made up a name. We had the incorrect box but the correct part in the box. We let her know that the part was correct but the incorrect box. She continued to roll her eyes at us and make excuses as to why she needed the correct box. We gave her the phone number so she could display the information on her computer. My father had enough of her attitude so he told her we're just trying to move on with our day and she agreed but instead of kindly talking to us she yelled in our faces. As we went to go leave we told her that she needs to be better with customers and she yelled at us and continued to roll her eyes saying GOODBYE! All we wanted to do was return a part to get our money back? Where in their own policy does it say we need to have the original and same packaging to return a part?
I purchased Duralast battery on January 15 store number 4104. The person that assisted me was Joe he was very helpful and installed the battery on my GLA 250 Mercedes. I was very satisfied with his customer service.
Just had the most horrible experience in their stores. Yesterday I had purchased a CV axle and today found out it was the wrong one. Took it to the other location to exchange it for the right one and they didn't have it. Asked about just returning the one there so I didn't have to keep lugging it around in all the different lyfts and Ubers. The associate started the return and when I told him I don't have the original card with me he said there was nothing he could do. Even said he couldn't do store credit. Took it to the other store and found out there was gonna be a price difference of about 100 so took another Lyft back to the house to get the card. Then took another Lyft back over to the store to exchange the part and get told it's already showing in the system as returned, this store called the other store and that associate there told them it was not returned and they would have to force it through. This store refused to do that. So now I'm stuck with some $230 part that isn't right and no money cause I had to spend it all on lyfts to go back and forth between these stores. This happened at the store at 2551 West Main Street in Norristown and at 56 East Main Street in Norristown. Don't shop at either of these locations.I honestly didn't want to even give 1 star but unfortunately had to.
One of my young family members bought a battery and it failed after a year. The receipt was misplaced, as happens with many people. Three Autozone stores offered no assistance because no information could be found on their computer. He called two and stopped by one. The one he went to didn't look at the battery, only the computer Why do they always ask for a phone number or name? There has to be a record on the computer somewhere.
He is one of the most polite, hardworking and respectful young men you will ever meet and was offered no help, no Customer service and had to pay for another battery elsewhere.
Never really had a problem here before but was at the Auto Zone in Hagerstown Md on October 27th, 2023 between 5-7pm and called to see about a part and the manager On duty answered and seemed kind of impatient and rude. But that's not it, when I was there waiting in a nice size line I noticed 2 young black boys that had already paid for their stuff and as they was walking out the manager yelled at them in front of everyone excuse me did you pay for your stuff. Them showing the receipt saying yes and the man who also works there that rung them up told the manager yes they paid. Even after the worker told him they paid he still made them come back in and show their receipt. Not even 1 minute later a white man walked out and the alarm goes off and he waved his receipt saying I already paid and the manager said I believe you. Seems pretty racist if you ask me!
Purchased a battery for $224 which was dead at purchase or I should say not charged or a bad cell. The guy looking up my purchase who also sold me the battery told me I didn't purchase it there. I argued of course as he fumbled around trying to locate my purchase. Finally there it is on the computer in front of him. I explained the battery is not working so he tested it and said you're right it's dead. So he then explains they
Must diagnose the battery by charging it. He said to come back in 4 hours. I call to see if my battery is ready and the guy I first spoke to has no clue how to answer my questions so I finally said may I speak to a manager. He gets the manager on the phone who happens to be the same fut who has trouble finding my purchase. I ask him about my battery he tells me it's fully charged and nothing wrong with it. I said how can auto zone sell me a battery that's not charged? He said well we don't check them. I said ok so what happens if I get the battery back to my car and it still doesn't work will I get it replaced and he said no! I said no I just purchased it. He then proceeds to say it must be my car. I said my car? I explained again that I hooked up the battery and my car would not start so I brought in the battery and he himself told me it's dead! He then says well we can't diagnose your car! My car? You sold me an uncharged battery or a battery with a bad cell and you're blaming my car? He said it could be electrical draining the battery. I said that's not logical. I hooked up the battery and my car wouldn't start so what you're saying is my car drained the battery in 5 minutes? He said he does not know! What kind of idiots work at this place and why in the world don't they replace a battery I just purchased? I will never do business with this company again.
Went to the hub store in Blaine Mn they showed part I needed no employ their could do a commercial return but could all play on their phones in a little circle not a very impressive store
I can't think of a single time I was actually able to make a purchase at any store or even on-line. The most recent issue was at a store in So. Lake Tahoe. Tire chains were needed. There are signs up and down the road selling chains for $29.99. I went into the AutoZone thinking they would be the same price for the same product. They stay hidden behind the counter. I asked "how much" then I gave the info,, Rather than answering my question, he gets the chains, rings them up and says $177 plus tax. I remain baffled how the entire corp. stays afloat. It is a complete mess from store to corp. and even their "shipping partners" suffer from them
Absolutely stay away from these local parts businesses there gouging like $#*!.Been building cars since I was 13.Rock auto price for a thermostats for a 99 grand cherokee 6.00.AUTOZONE & ADVANCE 37.00 $#*!ING DOLLARS! WHAT A JOKE
Went into the Brandywine md location 2 weeks ago I have 2 year warranty on all my rotors all of a sudden my history on parts that have a warranty is gone. Manager called instead of someone of importance said I didnt have receipts well wtf is my phone number in your system for.As far as management absolutely garbage. Rock auto from now on! The DM got involved and Dianna and Richard the manager took care of my warranty a big thank you to them both they care but corporate definitely does not
Do not go to autozone an Buy battery. They will lose you're more Warranty information on your battery and won't give you another battery when it's clearly in warranty.
Have a 2020 Dulast battery needing testing to ensure charges are holding. Had son took it off his car- drove in to get it tested at store #*******.
Rep state battery will need to be fully charge before they can run diagnostic test, son is to leave battery and pickup later. This was at 9am: called at 4pm asked if battery is ready, rep says yes. Asked if battery was tested, rep said yes. Picked up battery- installed in car, same issue(low battery- not enough cranking amperage) hooked battery up to home charger- battery is dead- called back store and was told" well, if someone said they would charge it and test it? I can only assume it was" this is the second time this has happened. Do ppl ever do what they say anymore? How hard is it to hook it up and let it charge? Last time it was said no charging can be done at night- reason why the battery didnt get charge like said. Just do your job! Or let the person know to take their battery home and charge it themselves. Terrible waste of time. Use to be great customer service- now worst then Oreily. Disappointed!
Purchased a used truck it had two Duralast gold batteries warranty three years on battery. Date on battery was eight months old leaking acid around neg post would not replace because I have no receipt for the battery only exclusive sold by Auto Zone. Customer service said I did not purchase the batteries that I purchased the truck so it was not covered. I will never darken the door in a Auto Zone again. Its a shame customer service has gotten so bad.
An eleven year employee of Autozone named Al had me wait at the store for 10 minutes to determine if my 1-1/2 year old battery was Ok to charge or was 'toast' > as told to me by the AAA tow driver.
After 15 minutes, he said it was a good battery and needed an hour or so to fully charge. So I went to a nearby restaurant and spent good money to eat while I waited on a beautiful Saturday morning.
I returned to find a bad battery, exactly what I told them that the AAA tow truck guy told me.
Then they said the warranty was invalid because I got it at a prorated price due to the battery before this one went bad early as well, and wanted $250+ for a new one. The AAA driver would have installed a new battery on the spot for $200 but told me that Autozone should give me a free exchange since the Duralast Gold was only 1 year and 5 months old.
Autozone wasted hours of my time, wanted 50 extra dollars of my money, as well as making me wait twice due to their incompetent employee(s).
I went to 2 diff auto zones to purchase rear breaks and each only looked up the vehicle and vin and issued me the incorrect brakes. It took 3 trips and additional funds to receive the correct brakes. Pls update ur systems to help your customers. Unacceptable!
AutoZone is a bad place they return all their electronic components put them on the shelf as new and sell them to customers at full price knowing that the parts are used how would you like to buy a sensor for a hundred or $200 knowing it was used AutoZone puts all that stuff back on the shelf
Walk into AutoZone in flushing and to hear Tyler talk about black Americans and said Joe is a piece of worthlessness $#*! and he's taking AutoZone down bowing down to amnson saying yes sir like a broken record. Tyler is rude and very disrespectful. My mother came needing some antifreeze put in her car Tyler said she had to wait he was very rude to my mom

Answer: Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.
Answer: It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.
Answer: If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
