Booked my stay in Vegas with Amoma.com. I had no problems at check-in. Front Desk confirmed room was alrady paid for and I was only responsible for the resort fee, which I knew. Great experince with Amoma.com, will use again!
I don't even know where to start with these guys. I was searching for some good deals to book my hotel for a trip I am planning for my birthday in November. I came across this site and was pretty impressed with the deals they were advertising. I was a bit hesitant at first because the prices were a bit lower than most competitors, so I had to browse around. After hours of researching I finally decided to book with them. My reservations were for a hotel around the Waikiki strip and I pretty much based my entire trip based on where I was located--WRONG MOVE. I get an email from AMOMA a week later after booking my hotel saying the initial establishment had miscalculated the rooms available and could not accommodate my trip based on the time I was planning on staying there. They offered me another option which was not even morbidly close to where the initial hotel was located and offered me 20% off for my troubles. I was so furious when I received that email! When I called customer service they were trying to blame it on the hotel by saying that it was a miscalculation on their end and that is why I was able to proceed forward with booking on the other end. Regardless of who, what or why--THIS INFORMATION IS VERY IMPORTANT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. IF THE ROOM I AM REQUESTING IS NOT AVAILABLE THEN YOUR WEBSITE SHOULD HAVE A FULL AND ACCURATE UPDATE OF THE HOTEL'S AVAILABILTY, PERIOD. NO EXCUSES! I ended up demanding a full and complete refund. I am never doing business with these people ever again and I suggest that any potential customers stray away from this website. They are a joke/scam.
NO, NO, NO! Never in my life have a had such a horrible experience. Spent countless hours on the phone with them and the hotel, them and the hotel... back and forth for days trying to just confirm that I had a reservation that I already paid for with a no cancellation policy! I finally get a confirmation number from the hotel themselves only to call and have the hotel say it's for the wrong date. We'll take care of this they say, rest assured they say. I get a new confirmation number from the hotel. I call and confirm that we are all set (all under my guests name, not my name which makes things more difficult) We arrive at the hotel and they say to me "You called and cancelled yesterday afternoon around 3:00 pm" Um... I most certainly did not. We proceed to stand waiting in the lobby of the hotel for at least 45 minutes to an hour while I am on hold with Amoma because no one want to handle my issue. Everyone transfers me to someone else for 30+ minutes on 2 cell phones as we stand unable to check in, in the hotel lobby! I never did speak with anyone at Amoma. The Wit Hotel in Chicago was gracious enough to finally just let us check in. Issue still unresolved. According to the Wit they had the same experience with another guest who booked through Amoma earlier in the day. It is most certainly a SCAM. I forwarded all my emails and confirmations from Amoma to the The Wit hotel hoping that they were able to get to the bottom of this with them. This in only part of the long, dramatic tale. I'll spare the other details. Bottom line, there are plenty of other booking sites out there. Steer very clear of Amoma!

I use amoma to book a room in which they took my money and i received no room! The site continuously said 1 room left avaiable in which would allow me to put in my personal details, take my money then say room unavailable. Leaving me with no money in the bank and no room!
I rang the company about this in which they said it was the dynamics of the website and refused to take any resoponsibilty. They offered me another room at the same hotel (down ground) for a higher price then my original booking and said i was to pay the difference in price not them!
Several times i asked to speak to a manager in which they said they was either on lunch too busy or unavailable even with me offering to hold the line at my own personal cost.
After hours of phone time and days of trying to solve the issue (even though my expected stay date was passed) i was still not offered an form of apology and only an email stating i was to contact the bank and sort out my own refund! The outcome was loss of money, no room and awful service. NEVER Will i ever use this company again!
Took money for a booking they couldn't provide then told me that it was my responsibility to get the money back from my bank. 8 days now and they haven't cancelled the order yet, so no money back
I went on Kayak to reserve a room for four. Selected a room with two beds and a second room with bunk beds and or a couch. I went to Pay pal to purchase after the funds were removed I received a message that this room is no longer available and to choose another room. The choices only had two beds. I arrived at the comfort inn and they didn't have my reservation. They called the one across the street, I pulled up my email and it was the other property. The reason this is surprising because the second property does not offer the two beds with the second side room. I drove over no reservation. I called the number to be told they would call me back in 30 minutes. They called me back to tell me they worked a "deal" i could have a room but they would need to put the cost on my credit card. They assured me they would get the reservation to the comfort inn the next day. I paid twice for this hotel room.
Since then I have been in contact with AMOMA.com and the blame has moved all over. They wanted me to send screen shots of purchase of the original room. You have made a bad experience worse and I have no choice but to report my story.
I booked a hotel with them and tried to get a confirmation to no avail. I left a 212.00 deposit with them and their site says that I only left a 125.00 deposit. Upon reaching customer service via email they sent me an email confirming that I paid the 212.00, but claim they cannot adjust the amount on their website. The hotel does not have my reservation, I can't get my deposit back and I am out a hotel for my vacation and 212.00. They are European based so no bbb complaints can be registered. Stay away from this scam.
