I need three blinds for 3 windows. The two outside windows were the same size. Only not quite as wide as the middle window. One of the outside blinds arrived the same as the same size as middle blind was. So did not fit at all. I called customer service. They gave me instructions to take a picture of the blinds. Which I did and it clearly showed the outside blind was wrong size. They graciously replaced the blind and it arrived in a timely manner! I have used American Blinds for years and have always appreciated their great service!

It has been easy to find blinds that interest me, order samples, and then place my order for the blinds. My previous orders have also gone very smoothly which is why I return to this website.
These blinds replaced the ones that had been up for about 10 years. I called Customer Service before I ordered to make sure that the measurements were correct. Steve walked me through everything and was very helpful. It only took about 10 days to get them (2 blinds), even though the website said it could take 6 weeks. The trickiest part of installation was attaching the blinds to the clips - it took both of us to hold them over our heads and snap them into place. The wand (opens/closes the slats) I ordered was too short and when I explained it to Customer Service they sent another set at N/C. We love the look and the way they work. Definitely recommend!

We actually haven't installed the blinds yet. We're replacing the cordless ones we now have with corded ones. The failure of the cordless is coming soon without a doubt. Speaking from our past experiences of having to either have replacements sent or repaired.

I WAS VERY FRUSTRATED THAT I COULD NOT COLOR MATCH THE BLIND TO ONE THAT I HAD JUST BOUGHT LAST YEAR. EITHER THE COLORS HAVE ALL CHANGED OR THERE WAS A MENU SOMEWHERE THAT I COULD NOT FIND. THE COLOR I FOUND IS CLOSE BUT NOT EXACT. MY ORDER FROM LAST YEAR WAS ON THE WEBSITE BUT SOME HOW CONVENIENTLY LOST THE "COLOR" WHICH INSTEAD I WAS HAVING TO MATCH BY EYE. OTHERWISE IT WAS ALL GOOD.
I am trying to match a previous order. The color is supposed to be "classic snow" which doesn't seem to be an exact option. I am also confused at checkout that my price is supposed to be 50% off but it keeps showing that my total is full price so I am hoping that it was charged correctly.

I was very happy with the quality and price. Pre-sale support was great, they stayed with me for a long call going through all the options and questions about installation. I was ordering fifteen blinds and wanted to get it right, and they were helpful and courteous. After that, I was always able to quickly reach someone when I had questions which is very nice in this day and age. There was one glitch with the order being held up in customs for about a week, and I had to call American Blinds to get the necessary information to customs. So I would suggest to track your package carefully. The tracking from FedEx was really informative to help me figure out what was happening.

THIS CELLULAR SHADE ORDER WAS A REPLACEMENT FOR ONE I PURCHASED THE YEAR BEFORE BECAUSE THE CORD FREYED AND WOULD NO LONGER GO UP OR DOWN. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLA CED FO FREE. THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I HAD TO REPLACE THE SHADE FOR THE SAME REASON BUT I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO REPLACE IT AGAIN BECAUSE IT HAD TO MATCH TWO OTHERS I HAD IN THE SAME ROOM. FOR THIS REASON, I AM NOT HAPPY BECAUSE THIS SHOULG NOT HAVE HAPPENED AGAIN AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR IT AGAIN. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF AMERICAN BLINDS FOR AT LEAST 25 YEARS. I HAVE PUCHASED NUMEROUS WINDOW TREATMENTS OVER THE YEARS AND NOT SURE I WILL BUY AGAIN FOR THE REASONS ABOVE.

I've bought 8 Roman shades from American Blinds and all have come in a timely manner in good condition. I had a minor problem with one a few years ago but customer service was outstanding and fixed the problem. I have now covered all of my windows, but tell everyone I know that they should purchase from American Blinds l.
It's an easy process, but I have ordered many shades from this company. Have always liked what I've received. If you follow the instructions, it's goes smoothly. If you need to chat with someone, that goes smoothly too.
I have had great experience with ordering blinds online, these were the best priced ones at the time. I knew they'd be a perfect fit and I knew they'd be easy to install. Can't beat the price or the quality! Big thumbs up

Answer: Not sure on the brick and mortar site but the man I spoke with lives in Texas, my favorite state in the USA, made me feel even better about this place.
