I would rate it one star if I could, they put my account on hold and demanded I provide a copy of the receipt which I cannot provide without logging in. I called and argued with the customer service and they were off zero help. Ask me to fill out a form which would take over 24 hours to resolve the matter which it would not resolve because I do not have the receipt they want. It's crazy that in this digital age company that supposedly leads the way cannot solve the identity over the phone.

I have to be completely honest. Amazon has to have some of the worst customer service compared to pretty any company. They will give u the run around regardless of what your needs are, just to get you off the phone. I placed an order 4 days ago and needed the item rush shipped so I would receive it before Saturday. First off, in no point was the item I ordered not available. And it showed it was in stock. After numerous calls and agents I spoke with, they pretty much guaranteed they would get the order escalated so it would ship priority so I would receive it by the date I needed it by. Fast forward to today, the day before I needed to receive it. The item never shipped. When I called, they again, gave me the run around and told me that the reason it didn't ship was because the item was shipping from a third party company that was shipping the item from China. Which basically meant I was screwed out of my order. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she then gave me the run around again and told me that the item was out of stock and they couldn't issue a credit to the order until after January 7th, which was after the day of should've shipped. I was livid. For a multi billion dollar company, you would think their customer service personal would be a little more forthcoming when it comes to the information they give to their clients. I hope I never have to deal with any of their agents again. Good luck to anyone that has to deal with them..

I have been an Amazon Prime member for about 15 years n was totally happy with them...until they went down the toilet n stopped caring about their members.
I always received my items within 3 days n some items the next day if I ordered early in the day. Recently since June of this year my items don't even get PICKED for at least 3-5 days n sometimes longer. The items ARE in stock. My several n I mean about 8 phone calls to their customer service has not resolved a thing except cause me more frustration. The reps give me allllll kinds of excuses but none of them are true.
One item I ordered as a gift on Dec 2nd but my delivery date was Dec 28th! ‍ After about 7 calls to Amazon n STILL no reasonable answer I called the seller. The seller was not happy because the item IS IN STOCK. She called them as well n again...no good reason so she had me cancel the Amazon order n she would send me one from the warehouse. I got it within a few days n in time for Christmas.
EVERY order I have placed since June has been taking at least 7 days but up to 15 days to get to me. Sometime the item isn't even pulled for 4-8 days n the otems i order ARE IN STOCK. So basically they raise the prime membership but lower their standards n don't even care. My friend finally canceled her prime n went with Walmart. At some point I'm probably right behind her.
It's sad that the bigger Amazon gets the crappier they become.

Going downhill

I used to love shopping on Amazon and would have never believed I'd be giving it one star (would give 0 after my most recent interaction if that was an option), but that is quickly changing. Customer service / customer satisfaction going WAY downhill.

Ordered some things anticipating them as Christmas gifts, but the "expected delivery date" range was Dec 22 - 29….ok, no biggie, if they didn't arrive for Christmas (they didn't), I could stick them back for birthday gifts. A few days ago the expected delivery date said "running late, if you're item doesn't arrive by Jan 4 you can come back Jan 5 to request a refund". Jan 4 was yesterday, no item. Previous orders that were "running late" has taught me if it doesn't arrive by the "if it doesn't arrive by" date, it won't arrive, so logged in today to request a refund. Chatted with customer service and was told "the order was fulfilled & shipped so if it doesn't come by Jan 10 you can ask for a refund" I asked them if their story is going to change AGAIN if it still doesn't arrive and told them I don't appreciate being lied to (the day I'm supposed to be able to request a refund, I'm told I have to wait longer).

I was considering paying for Prime (for the past 5 years, it's been included with my phone service, but I switched providers to get better coverage so lost Prime), but after this I don't think so. Paying for shipping, eh I'll probably spend less paying for shipping than paying for Prime just to "get free shipping" & streaming…I don't watch enough on Prime to make it worth it (most of what they have that I'd be interested in I'd still have to pay for). But not standing behind your word (changing the date I can request a refund after the first "you can request a refund" date arrives with me not having my order) is making me strongly considering not shopping with Amazon again.

Bought this queen mattress, requested return because squeaky springs. Return slip was created for UPS, UPS refused to take an open box mattress.
Called Amazon they created a new a return, for Thursday Jan 5Th. From 12 noon - 6 pm, to Pilot carrier.
After waisting a whole day of work waiting, called Pilot they said we do not pickup mattress adding that amazon knows that.
Called Amazon at 5:45 pm, I was transferred from agent to another, requested to talk to a supervisor, they refused to talk to me saying that the supervisor told them I have to wait for thirty days before I can return that mattress?! I waited about an hour...
I asked for names to write a complain, I could not hear the line is bad.
Stay away from buying any thing from Amazon, it is a very bad services. Now I am stuck with credit card bill of around $1200, because Amazon also lost trace of my previous Lucid 12 inched Mattress I returned because it was the wrong size.
I wish I can write on google as well, but google don't treat big corps like small business, one cannot write review...?!

Please Stay away from Amazon, unless you want to be in my shose, that I do not wish to my enemy.

NO PRODUCT NO REFUND OR REPLACEMENT

Spoke with someone with a very strong accent that refused to help a prime member. The picture shows that the door was gray not my red door. Red and gray are far off. These drivers are under so much that they just drop anywhere. Members are taking the heat. I requested a gift for Amazon which was generous on my part since I had to purchase the item from a retail store. Contacted the same day and was told to check the neighborhood. Give me my money back

Could Care Less

Amazon has been going down the tube for a long time and they don't care. People will still shop with them. Now on the news is Amazon is laying off 18,000 people. Amazon had been outsourcing customer service to the Philippines and "off shore" for a long time. These people usually impossible to deal with. Customers used to be able to ask to be transferred to customer service in the United States but no longer. I would much rather see my money employ a USA citizen than to fire American citizens and employ people in a different country. I think it is disgraceful that Amazon is taking the position of ignoring American's employment only to employ people who do not understand and cannot be understood. Perhaps if Washington adapts a policy of fines or some sort of penalty for this business decision it would be a deterrent and they would keep American jobs at home

Not worth the money

When prime initially started it was wonderful that you could order things with free shipping and receive whatever you order within 2 days. Not only have they raised the prices for prime, now it takes at least a week to receive your orders, and they don't care how they deliver them to us(broken, spilled, torn, not at all, etc.). And customer representative are no help because they don't care. Calling about shipping too many times will get your items delayed even longer, WITH PRIME. AND I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR OVER 7 YEARS.

Drivers are a crap shoot and if they don't drop your delivery off then instead of reassigning new driver so you get your order same day you have to start the entire process over and just hope the next driver you get the next day makes it.

NEVER FAILS TO HAVE PROBLEMS

From lost packages, delayed shipments, orders never arriving, and more... Amazon NEVER fails to fail us. What losers... you would think with the amount of money they generate and the under the table mass multi million dealings with the biden regime they could do better... but no.../ in fact they seem to be getting WORSE!
Would upload images, but wouldn't know where to start as I have logged AT LEAST 3 chats with their pathetic and disappointing customer service team... mostly they try to talk down to you like it is your fault you can't wait for the package... even when the company has delayed the shipment with no explanation, cannot tell when or if it will ship, and is now 3 days late... WTF!? Yes, the problem is I cannot wait adequately enough? SHUT IT DOWN... YOU FAILED!

Bad service

I ordered a item from Amazon and wasnt what i thought when i seen it. Tried to send it back and hit the wrong return button so tried another way to return it and now the locker is full and has been for 2 days.If they dont want my business then I will go elsewhere from now on. Pretty $#*!ty service if ou ask me.I will no longer order from now on and will inform any that asks DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON

Hacked account

I tried to get into my account and was locked out. I called customer support and they said they couldn't help me. I just wanted them to cancel my account and they said they couldn't. It's their website why can they not cancel accounts if the person is locked out of the account. Very disappointing will never use them again. My information isn't safe on their website. Still unable to cancel account. They need to work on this issue. I would give them zero stars if possible.

I have been a Prime customer for about ten years. Amazon keeps raising the membership fee but the service is not getting better. In fact, its service is getting worse. Now the order deliveries are frequently late without any apparent reasons. Very few orders are actual delivered in one day.

Within their customer review system, Amazon only let customer review the product but they don't ask or let the customer review its own service. Many customer reviews are not the same product that I am looking to buy. They are just a similar product. This skews the review score.

Now for the Prime Video service. Amazon should separate the video from its Prime membership. I, personally don't care for its video streaming service because it sucks. I still have to pay for the new movie titles. The most free videos or movies are old. I have my own Netflix account to watch movies.

The three stars are for the return service. Amazon's return service for prime is great. There is no question for it. I love that I just need to give my reason, take a screenshot of the QR code, and take the item to a UPS store. I don't even need to box it.

And yet they still charge you for shipping. They used to be reliable at one point but now I'd rather buy from anywhere else. I'll even buy from bestbuy.com at this point before getting anything from amazon. Bunch of crooks.

Whoever decided that Thursday night football would only be streamed through Amazon should be drawn and quartered. Try explaining to your 92 year old grandmom that she can't watch the game because she doesn't have a "smart tv" with an app. This woman lived through the depression, the invention of the television, WWII, raised her children, as a widow, through the Cold War and has seen technology and the planet change unbelievably in one live time. But she can't participate in the most American of all things! Thursday night football! Not even during the holidays!?!? This is how we know this country is screwed! F U Amazon! Im canceling everything!

Amazon is now a $#*!hole

I have been having a prime membership through Amazon for years and never had a problem until my items started to come up missing. I tried to contact Amazon about my issue so I can get a refund or replacement and they ignored me and proceeded to talk and say they are not responsible for delivered items so I just lost out on $46 and I was hung up on the phone twice! They didn't want to transfer me to talk to a manager, not sure if they have new management or their new employees are $#*!s! I WILL NOT BE ORDERING ANYTHING FROM AMAZON EVER AGAIN THEY JUST LOST OUT ON A LOYAL CUSTOMER BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BE RUDE ON THE PHONE LIKE PEOPLE ARE LYING TO THEM! Just unsubscribed from my prime membership, $#*! AMAZON AND THEIR $#*!TING $#*! ARAB EMPLOYEES OR WHATEVER THE $#*! THEY ARE BECAUSE I NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND $#*! THEY WERE SAYING ON THE PHONE ANYWAYS.

Over the last years I bought a lot of Kindle books. First I read them via an app on my cell phone. This year I bought a Kindle reader.

The last months I have issues buying books. They are denied.

Internet was created as a world without borders. Amazon & all other big companies (as for example the EU) making it more difficult everyday to buy items. When you are not in that country.

So, over the years you took my money and now I finally bought a Kindle reader you deny me to buy Kindle books? You tell me that I can only buy Kindle books when I am in the USA?

But you let me buy a Kindle E-reader? That money do you want, but you deny me buying Kindle books?

I am getting the message "Shop Kindle titles on Amazon.com". I am logged on at Amazon.com. Added my address & postal code. And still I am refused.

I tell you what you are doing. You are discriminating.

I've learned after five purchases that companies that sell the powkiddy Q90 game console for under $10 are scammers. They won't ship to you. They ship to wrong addresses purposely. I don't recommend buying from China third parties in Amazon.
EBay, OfferUp are just a few reliable places to buy. Use Amazon at your own risk.

Terrible problem solving tactics/solutions

I'm majorly annoyed with Amazon. I live in a apartment complex with 11 buildings, total. And recently it became a problem that Amazon drivers deliver to the wrong buildings, and I have no access to the hallways of any of the other buildings, unless a friendly tenant let's me in. We usually scope the neighborhood and try to figure out if we can retrieve the parcel, with help of the "evidence photo" provided by the drivers. Sometimes we're lucky, other times not so much, and we have to reach out to Amazon's customer service. Usually they are willing to fix the mistake or at least give us a refund, but this time got really ridiculous. After we couldn't retrieve the package, we used the live chat function and essentially they told us, they parcel shows as delivered at the right address and there is nothing they can do. So we called the next day, and they once again told us there is nothing they can do, and it's our responsibility to ensure that the given address is a secure location... it would have been, if Amazon actually delivered to the correct address! In the end we got hung up on twice, by very rude personal. We had explained that the fault lays on Amazon, and we could prove it even, with the photos provided by the drivers (not all hallways look the same, different door mats, colors of apartment doors and so on), but they didn't want to hear any of it. Not only are we out of $40 now, additionally this is just going to continue, because clearly Amazon is not willing to inform their drivers of repeated misdeliveries. Terrible problem solving tactics/solutions.
