Amazon have a bad way of treating valued customers who constantly buys products from them, if you have a problem they won't respond or give you your money back, i bought an item from warehouseseller who uses amazon.com to sell products, their product was garbage and didnt work and amazon.com say they sent my refund to a closed account, how dumb can they be when i told them it was closed, but my bank says they have no record of this and its been more than 30 days and now amazon.com won't respond, but i bet they respond to my lawyer

What wouldn't I buy on amazon?! This is the first place I stop before purchasing anything. In my experience, amazon has pretty decent customer service if you can find the phone number. There were several times that the item I purchased dropped in price and I was able to get a credit for my next purchase. I purchased amazon prime this year and I'm hooked. Most of my packages come in exactly 2 days! For all the negative reviews of specific amazon sellers, although I haven't had a negative experience, I urge them to try to stick to products which have 'sold by amazon.com' in the description. Make sure to post a negative review for the seller on amazon, because I believe amazon kicks them off after several bad reviews.

Wow, what can I say about Amazon? Will Amazon conquer the world? Will they drive all local merchants to the brink of disaster and extinction? Will all commerce as we know it become nothing more than warehouses of goods? Well at least in my mind that is what has happened as I use Amazon for almost everything. Invariably, when I go shopping for something at malls or even discount centers I rarely find what I am looking for so what do I do? I get on Amazon and sure enough, I find it; usually much cheaper than what I would have paid at a local store. If you think about it, Amazon is like the biggest virtual shopping mall in the world!

This site stinks, the very first time I ordered a book from Castleshannon, I used a Amazon Gift Card and the balance was charged to my credit card. I never received it. So I e-mailed Amazon and they said not our fault contact Castleshannon, I tried and tried these people never responsded they did however charge my credit card. Amazon would not give me my gift card amount back or help me in anyway! FIRST AND LAST TIME SHOPPER. It is a bad site,,, STINKS, STINKS!

Amazon puts me at ease

Amazon puts me at ease - Amazon has been a place which I started buying books from years ago, then graduated to music. Since 2007, I've been purchasing photo stuff from them. Today, I recieved a lens which I ordered last week, but the lens for some reason didnt communicate with my Canon XSi, got error messages. This is the first time ever that I had an issue with anything I got from Amazon directly or their vendors.

I was a bit anxious about what might transpire now that I've received this item and it needs to be replaced. So, I started with their HELP pages for returns or credit, and an online email to them resulted in a reply within an hour stating that a new lens would be sent right away and that if I click on a web page which they gave, I could print out a free UPS shipping label to return the defective part.

Since this is my first time ever having to deal with Amazon on a return, I have to say, its very impressive to see them respond so quickly and so positively without hassle or long protracted letter writing and phone calls.

My return is repacked ready to be dropped off at a UPS store or drop box, and my replacement lens has been shipped with a tracking number. They sent it at "2nd Day Air" with no charge to me.

That is how businesses should conduct themselves and not make life miserable for a customer who is justified in returning a defective product.

I am very impressed by Amazon, and if all turns out well as it seems to be, I will coninue to do business with them and will recommend them to others as well.

Online shopping complaint -
I purchased an item priced $395 from Cymaxstores on line. I attempted to cancel the order, but it was too late to stop shipment. I was lead to obtain an authorization prior to returning the item. Instructions were given to refuse the item, but instead the itemed was left at the door. Ups delivered and picked up 'refused item' and returned it. I recieved the a refund of $14. This is an outrage, I am prepare to pay the shipping charges on the free shipment of this purchase, or restocking. Stocking. Cymax policy has left me with a less then a fraction of my purchase. This is not right, what can i do to obtain a reasonable sum of my original purchased price.

Monster Mother of all E-Tailers - I shop Amazon.com all the time. I love their selection of books, and usually their prices are pretty good.
