It's a complete mess, but Amazon seems to have any product I'm looking for under one roof---or site. Prices aren't so bad, but when you go for a return, boy do they have a crazy policy! Sometimes you've gotta pull teeth to get what you want done.

I was looking around for a Nikon D90 digital slr camera I found Primocameras on 1 of the price comparison shopping sites and they had the camera for a great price compare to other companies I saw. I checked their reviews before I purchases and they seemed to be pretty good so I decided to give them a shot.
I called them up spoke to a salesman named Brian he seemed very knowledgeable and extremely nice he answered all my questions on the camera and took down my order and said he will email me a confirmation of the order by email once we hang up and I will get a tracking # in the email in 3-4 days once it ships. I did receive a confirmation email but it was towards the end of the day but to my surprise it had the tracking # in there even though the salesman said I would get the tracking # in 3-4 days. I tracked and it was scheduled to be delivered to me earlier then the salesman promised. To finalize my experience I got the camera I wanted at a GREAT price and with an outstanding service that you won't find anywhere else. Thank you primocameras I will definitely recommend you to my friends and colleagues.

I have ordered books from Amazon several times. Every time they offered me nice shopping experience. It seems their website can guess what I am thinking and present the information right when I need them! They saved me a lot of time and money and I have no choice but continue to buy from them.

Absolutely fantastic! I got lots of cheap cd's and DVD box sets here... great value if you are hunting for a particular artist, I'd say --- Just recieved some CD's that I've been hunting for ages, I saved a fortune! Much better than HMV stores anyday

BOYCOTT AMAZON. COM They trick sellers into selling on their website then SUSPEND your account immediately saying they have to REVIEW your account then hold your funds 90 say and up! They do this to collect FREE interst off the little guys money who alrady shipepd out the mercahndise!

I like Amazon, very reliable, user friendly, and over the years it has built a strong reputation for itself to where now, I check amazon.com before making many purchases (whether I end up buying online or at a retailer will usually just depend on price).

Actually what reminded me to post this was a new article I just came across that rated Amazon as the "most trusted brand in America:"

I have been an Amazon.com customer for over 2 years now, and I've had pretty much good experience overall. I really like their "Magazine Subscription Manager", it's way cool and you can see all your mags, the renewal dates, and then get the best deals (sometimes as low as $5 for a full year!). I pretty much buy all my books from Amazon (with a few exceptions). You just have to be sure that you order like $25 minimum each time you buy things to get the FREE shipping, or that will cost you a lot of money over time. Also the CD's are reasonably priced if you buy your music that way. Overall a good experience, I would recommend them.

I like how they let other seller offer their products on amazon.com too next to Amazon's own product... this is how every website should be... fair and honest!

I shop amazon for many many things. I'm always amazed at what you can find. The prices are always lower than what you get in stores. Of course, you HAVE TO BE CAREFUL about third party sellers. I see reviews saying they are never shopping at amazon again because of a third party seller ripping them off. RESEARCH THE SELLERS and make sure you have contact information! I, fortunately, have never had a problem, and have bought plenty from third parties. But I'm always careful and hesitant. Amazon as a whole has great product, great prices, and great customer service. Especially from their own selection instead of third party. A buyer always has responsibility. It's the same with any website.
I have refunded things and never had a problem. I've gotten my money back quickly and without delay or problem.
If you're looking for something cheaper than what the price is in stores, chances are amazon has it. Great deals on books, dvds, blu-rays, and plenty of other things as well.

Back in Sept I bought some boots for my son from this website. They offered free next day shipping so i thought i would go for it even though i never heard of this site before. I received my item three days later and also received the wrong ones even though the invoice matched what i am gotten. I didn't want to make a big deal and the boots i got where still cute so i was going to keep them till i realized that they where defective. They had a skull print all over them but it was smudged all on one side. I took them back and also noticed that they have a match policy and found the same pair of shoes $10 cheaper and still in stock on another website. I filled out all the info but never heard back from them. Then Three months later I received an Email from them claiming that they refunded me and are now going to take the $39.95 out of my account. First off, I didn't even have that account anymore but since I closed it less than 60 days ago, Amazon/Endless was still able to charge that account. I wrote them back telling them that They had no right to take it out and whatever mistake they made was on them. They wrote back saying they would fix it and two days later they charged the $39.95 plus they did another $39.95 the next day. I had one of those stupid banks that charge $34 in overdraft plus and extra $5 for the next 8 days or so. Amazon/Endless has yet to resolve this and I am only glad that I no longer have that account so its now the banks problem and not mine.

Found the super saver delivery very very slow which i think is totally wrong, you shouldn't have to wait a couple of weeks! But otherwise if you pay extra it is a good service.

Amazon screwed me over on a refund, after wasting several hours of my time. The doublespeak & dishonesty was so incredible it was almost surreal. The vendor actually refunded the money to Amazon, but Amazon never passed it on to me. Despicable. I know it's cheap and convenient (like Wal-Mart) but - they are parasitic. Get your stuff directly from the vendor!

I signed up for Amazon Prime and surprisingly LOVE it! Amazon still doesn't carry great clothing like Zappos and Overstock do, but it still is my go to site for anything non-clothing/fashion related.
