I've been am amazon prime customer for over 2 decades and always shop at Amazon Fresh as well as Whole Foods. This week I am extremely ticked off with a sale item not being available. Amazon is running a sale for lobster tail for $3.99 and I went in on Wednesday (first day of sale in the evening) and it was sold out. My friend went in on Friday around 3pm and still no lobster available and was told to return on Saturday for it. Today being Saturday, I went in with my husband at 11am and still no lobster available. I called Amazon Fresh customer services and I was told to return in 2 weeks to get it at regular price. I found it so wrong to advertise something when you can't even fulfill it on the first day of sale. THIS IS DECEIVEFUL BUSINESS PRACTICE! Shop elsewhere and stay happy. AMAZON SUCKS and YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICES IS NOT DESERVING EVEN A ONE STAR REVIEW IF GIVEN A CHOICE!
I have spent hours trying to get answers to things like why was i not credit the freight on my return or why have i not seen my amex points refunded but honestly dealing with them through the chat forum is crazy and most are not answering the questions that re posed but instead creating something that doesn't even pertain to the question. This is very difficult, now they do have some great things they do. Also i just wished that they reviewed products before offering them for sale because there is some products that say one thing but perform much different and if they reviewed the products themselves this would be noticed. Again Amazon is a good company but they need to still look at doing things better!
A scam I would say, They have been deducting a XX amount $ on my husbands card every month for the subscription fee, I hearing my husband trying to reach their customer service almost every other week to get his account up and running frustrating part money has been deducted every month but there was always an issue especially if you need to watch something that are included on their prime, Customer service was rude and trust me we know how to treat people especially in the customer service but if they gave you some attitude especially with no attempt to even help you out with your concern you will get out of patient l especially if you tried to reach out with them to find a solution. Frustrating. If we can give no star we would but, I guess in order for you to write a review you had to.I really felt bad for my husband as I have been hearing him almost every other week trying to get his account fixed each time I felt they got scripts and they'll say we can't find your account. Which my husband emailed them and even took a screenshot of the reoccurring payment amount of the monthly subscription from this company. NEVER AGAIN AMAZON.!

Recently Amazon has gotten worse and worse about packages being late or lost with no explanation. Just recently I had a camera completely disappear in shipping somewhere in TN (not even my state), they even delivered an empty envelope that had never been sealed. Twice in the past 2 weeks I've placed an order for products that stated they would be here next day (Prime member) just to check the progress the next day and it's changed to over a week. They've become so unreliable I'm going to have to stop using them. They have good prices but you cannot plan on receiving the items anywhere near when they advertise, if you even get it. They make good on things in the end but who needs the headache and hassle of this happening constantly?
I had a rocky start with Amazon Fresh but then it became much better….until lately. I order once a week regularly and twice occasionally. Last week I receive a text that everything was available. My directions are exact and my elevator was working but drivers want to enter at another entrance and that elevator wasn't working. Due to the delivery person not following my directions all the heavy items couldn't be delivered because Amazon states "damage". Today, I receive a text that everything was available and my groceries would be delivered between 11 and 1. You can track the delivery but today the portion that indicated the stops wasn't functioning so at 1:00 I became worried. I communicated with driver who stated my new time of 1:30. Seven minutes later the driver calls me to ask if I want to come downstairs to pickup my groceries or they could leave them at a locker. I explained at my age I need the bags at my door as they always do. Both elevators were working. I waited 20 minutes and no delivery so I called the driver back. I asked her to follow my directions as she was at the other building. After 15 more minutes and delivery, I called once again but no one answered. 10 minutes later I received 4 items with 7 items missing. Beware of this before you order, it's difficult to speak to customer service and a service that should be convenient and stress free became problematic and very stressful.

I didn't received 2 items ( in Nov and Dec). I called 2 days after I noticed the missing items. 4 months calling and never received the refund. They didn't believe me that I didn't receive the items and debated with me about the items were sent to the right address. I will not spent 4 months of my time and energy for $50 if I did receive the items. There is not need for me to lie. Amazon became a monstrous company out of control with deliveries and poor and disrespectful customer service. I lost my money and was treated as a lier.
I'll never use this company again for shoppings.

I love Amazon Marketplace. Since 2012, I have never had a problem with Amazon items or shipping. Customer support is helpful and polite when I have product issues. I recommend Market place Amazon to everyone searching to acquire their stuff!
I had ordered something off amazon that was worth a good chunk of change. I was expecting it to be delivered today & it did. However, when i received the package, there were 2 labels on it: 1 with my information & 1 with another persons name & address attached. I ended up receiving a product I never ordered. Amazons response? We can refund you for your item when you ship the other product back but we cant do anything about your actual item because it's from a 3rd party seller. Thanks a lot Amazon. I needed this product for my vacation & now I'm disappointed.
First, I want to say, I absolutely love Amazon but today I my delivery from Amazon Fresh really ticked me off. My delivery person just sat my bags in the middle of the porch at the top of the stairs. They didn't ring the doorbell. With all the thief's happening, why would you leave the packages all exposed when I have a full porch, and not even ring the doorbell? That's just common courtesy. No one should have to tell you that. I have never not left a nice tip but I took the tip back and will reconsider ordering from Fresh again.
A great place to shop is Amazon. It has a wide range of products at reasonable prices, and it ships them to your door quickly. Also, if you spend more than $25, shipping is free. Amazon even has a free app you can download to your phone that lets you order things right from it.
Twice in the last few months, Amazon has shipped me a cheaper substitute for the product I ordered. The first was a Toro battery pack, where they shipped me a 108 Ahr battery in place of the 135 Ahr I ordered. Then recently, they shipped me two cheaper incandescent Maglite solitaire flashlights instead of the LED lights I ordered. Then when I selected to be refunded to my credit card used for the order, they instead refunded with a gift card, even though they claimed to have credited my card. I will be looking for other sources in the future from a company that can respect.
Sometimes the price is fair but sometimes if you really do some research it is way overpriced so I would say they need to do better

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
