I am disabled and am currently unable to get to the grocery. I decided to try delivery from Amazon Whole Foods since I am unable to drive across the street to my local grocery. I waited outside for the driver with my rolling walker and the food never came. I called the delivery driver and he hung up on me. When I looked at the picture of where the groceries we're delivered they were left at the office door of my apartment complex leasing office of the busiest street in town. The driver didn't even bother to look at my directions or drive into the community complex. That ain't nobody's apartment. I requested a refund because I am basically housebound. What was the point of me ordering groceries?
I just cancelled my Amazon Prime Membership, after terrible customer service from three different agents, one was a supervisor. I ordered a Meta Virtual Reality headset at $385.10, It was not delivered, nor attempted to be delivered. I received a notice that there was a delivery problem and the item was being returned. I was informed I would have a refund in 3-5 business days. Stated on their website and with my return notice. That was 2/18. It is now 3/7 and I still have no refund. I chatted with an agent and a Supervisor who both informed me that I would "just have to wait." And to not expect the refund to be processed until 2/23. The Supervisor confirmed that the item has been received back by the warehouse but that they need 30 more days to process the refund. The agents were rude and not helpful. I called Customer Service nd they said "it is in the hands of our processing center." I requested that I be permitted to speak with them. She declined and said again "you'll just have to wait." I have been a longtime, frequent customer and Prime Member. They have my product and my money, but I will not be a Prime Member any longer. Disgrace.
Prime is a JOKE,its a lie. Sometimes no big deal others yes. Ordered a $1363.00 drone, got used and broke
Absolutely Horrendous experience to resolve the issue of Amazon creating two accounts in the same email and phone number. Charging me separately in one account for Prime membership and then another one for shopping. Another issue of some one using my CC for buying things on Amazon. Spent hours and hours with Amazon on both these issues. After spending enormous amount of time, was put on hold and then got disconnected on two occasions and no one called me back.
Asking them to close one of my accounts or at least cancel the CC, I was told they can't do that and I have to do that. Yet the system would keep bringing me back to the same account and not to the other account where I needed to cancel the CC. So much of precious time got wasted talking to CS and yet they did not have the decency to even give me any credit, even though it was a membership for the promotional month and my CC was charged. Just Horrendous. If I could give less than one star, I WOULD for all this nonsense. Zero stars for these issues.
Five stars for shopping etc.
Although I don't frequently shop online, I occasionally make purchases on Amazon.com. I adore how easy it is to order anything online and have it delivered directly to my door. I've been using Amazon for a while, and so far I haven't experienced any issues with either their customer support or delivery delays. I have never experienced any problems with them, and they are quite dependable.
I had a problem with my previous order. The sewing machine arrived and was broken. The bobbin case was marred and the needle timing was off. I wrote to Best Choice Products and they sent out a full replacement and told me to just keep the other one, so thankfully the new one arrived and is in good working order. Although they said it was user error (which it was not) they still made good and sent out a replacement immediately.
I went to Kenmar Dental in Marietta because they accepted my insurance. I was going to get 2 new crowns. When they examined me, they stated that I needed 3. I said OK, let's get it done. It took a little while, but they finished all the work. I agreed on the price, but I did not see any statements or itemized receipts. They did not go over anything with me. I signed on a small signature pad. I pretty sure there was no itemized work that was down. After I went home, I took a good look at the receipt. They charged me $1650.00 for nothing. They stated that the crowns were upgraded to a zirconia crown. It clearly stated that the crown was made of porcelain on the receipt. They charged me $400.00 per crown for the same day made crowns. I was never told that information any of these charges.
I am an OG Amazon customer. I ordered from them since back when they only sold books. In 11 years, I've never had an undeliverable order. Until 3 days ago. For whatever reason, drivers suddenly can't find my house on their map, even though I had been receiving around 10 deliveries a month from them. Calling to try to get assistance is a joke. Even after fighting through the automated system and explaining the problem to live human beings, I got no results. They would tell me there was no problem with the delivery info I provided (well... DUH!) then turn around and tell me they could not find my home on their map, only some fictional side street that does not exist in reality. I spoke to six people over 3 days and never received my packages, even though I was continually assured that they would resolve the problem. They are apparently not bright enough to use Google maps, which would have instantly solved their problem. Oh, well. I have since moved on. And will do my online shopping elsewhere. I don't have time for that level of incompetence.
The deliveries did not follow the instruction for example I said to leave the items on second floor and they left the items outside my building and when I contacted amazon fresh they said to call the drivers before they deliver the orders, so what is the point of leaving a note with detailed instructions.
Also, another thing that happens is that they cancel orders at last minute, I was waiting for an order at 10 pm (since they did not have more spots available) and they cancel at last minute, saying that they can not find the apt... this is so unprofessional and now they charge more money for delivery.
I ordered some hand cream to be delivered to an Amazon Hub Center on Feb 17. On Feb 24, I received an email that the item was delayed and would be delivered by Mar 2. On Feb 24, it was in route from 75 miles away. Today (Mar 3), I received a message thanking me for picking up the package. I never picked up the package and never received a pick up code. I talked to a computer at Amazon that told me it was "mismarked as delivered", and if I don't receive it by this Monday, I can request a refund. In my mind, I think the package is lost in shipments, and I can't speak to a human being -- just a computer that's a TOTAL IDIOT.
Called Amazon to find out why my debit card was charged for Amazon prime, they have no fraud department to help with any disputes at all, big company like this shame on Amazon all the clerks tell you is to call your bank. Not very helpful couldn't give a phone number to the main office there is no numbers to give. Lousy way to run a big business
I adore Amazon for my shopping! They offer such a huge selection of goods at reasonable costs. Free shipping is another great perk of Amazon Prime! I save so much time when I shop online since I get the things quickly. Great encounter.
We've been n having an issue getting a full refund on a returned item. You are speaking with someone in India that had nor followed thru with their promise to you. When calling back, you get an overseas response reading a statement over and over, all the while, getting nowhere. You would think Amazon, a company making billions of dollars could provide decent customer service. We will call back a fourth time and hope for better results. No stars Amazon..
I use to love Amazon! When the first came out they were absolutely amazing! I swear I would order AT LEAST a product every single day if not multiple products every day. That was up until about 2/3 years ago, their shipping and handling started to get bad, but that was ok bc they still had good customer service. Until that became bad too. It seems like the customer service representative don't want to do their job and that's if they even know how to (as most of them I have to exsplain what to do or how to fix an issue). They lost all their respect from me from the bad customer service, to their either late or missing delivery to finally their refunding policy ( I literally have to pay them to come pick up a defective item they sold me when they are literally already coming here tomorrow anyways - what more they are charging me almost half the price of the $20 product itself!) I have been doing little ordering with them and checking back every few mths to see if anything has changed for the better but nope! This honestly did it for me I don't think I will be ordering from them again! Amazon needs to clean house and start all over bc what they have now is complete failure!
I feel transparency's in every shopping nice and smooth transactions really like the products and every type of things
They offer such a huge selection of goods at reasonable costs. Great customer service and experience.
My prior review of Amazon was 5 stars, but no longer. MANY identical products are made in China under multiple company names-wastes consumer's time if they read reviews, as l do. Recently, Amazon sells a lot of merchandise that receives many subpar reviews-they should protect consumers & cease carrying such items! Not waste customer's TIME & MONEY with returns. They are no longer consistent with deliveries & disregard delivery instructions -leaving many packages out in the open to be stolen or rained on. Then, when one has to call after 10 plus packages are left in the wrong place, the outsourced customer service reps are in another country and CANNOT speak intelligible English! MORE wasted time waiting on a supervisor! They are worth billions of dollars yet send their customer service overseas, not to mention sending a huge proportion of their manufacturing to China. I have been a big customer and proponent of Amazon for years, but no longer. I'll take my business to companies that treat their customers with the respect they are due-providing top-tier merchandise and courteous, prompt customer service-IN ENGLISH!
Received my gift card within a couple of days. I would recommend getting gift cards to everyone. I will do so again.
Delivered 2 cases of bottled water that I did not order, have no use for, and have no way of getting rid of. Will not be ordering again.
I want my packages delivered to the covered porch. Not the patio where my packages can get stolen. The covered porch is the only covered porch there is. It's so obvious but most the drivers don't listen. I need to be heard and I feel like I can't be heard. COVERED PORCH! They NEVER pay attention to my delivery instructions. I have to be out there when my package arrives or it gets dropped off at the wrong door. One of my business packages was almost stolen. Amazon needs to pay closer attention to DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS! Customers fill out delivery instructions for a reason. PAY ATTENTION!
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
