Amazon Delivery

They would tell you that your package is coming at 10 am so you are looking for your package at 10 am ….then now they have change it to 1:30 - 3:30 pm so still no package so now they are telling you that your package is coming 4:30 - 7:30 pm…I hate Amazon delivery service it is no good.and they lie all the time when your package is not going to arrive when they say it will.

My Account Was Put On Hold Because I Ordered Alot Of Garden Items For A New Garden That I Wanted To Start At My Home. It's Been 2 Weeks Now And My Account Is Still Locked. I Was Told That I Would Receive An Email Within 24hrs And No Email. I Did Receive A Text Message, That I Must Log Into My Account To Resolve My Issue. Welp, I Can't Log In Because My Account Is Still Locked And Amazon Still Has My Old Number Listed Even After I Called Personally For Them To Update My Phone Number. Now I'm Wordering Is This A Scam And Call The Corporate Off First Thing Monday Morning. I Can't Even Contact A Company To Resend Me My Funds For An Item That Was Returned. Can't Even Check To See Where Are Some Of My Orders That Hasn't Arrived. What A Bummer!

This is a summary of my recent experiences and expresses my opinion.
I have been an Amazon Prime member for years and always found true value in the membership fee(s). That is, until mid 2022 when Amazon.com announced new policies which were perceived by many (per the published News articles) as a shift from customer-first to vendor-first, which ultimately, and significantly and disadvantageously, affected my shopping experience. The across-the-board changes effectively eliminated most benefits of my Prime membership. The shipping is still free (but free s/h is generally now available in my other favorite internet sites); in my experience, everything else has eliminated the value of Prime membership. Benefits I particularly enjoyed were a good selection of quality Free Movies; now it seems that only a tiny percentage of the movies are free and most of those are based on Ads throughout the movie, or Trial Subscriptions. Even 40 year-old movies are now selling for $3.99 and up. I would say that a miniscule number of those movies are offered on HD screens, instead they are visible on the old boxy screen size, sitting in the middle of my laptop screen (yes, I know how to expand the screen). Quality, affordable Prime Kindle books are, in my opinion, no longer offered, so I have already cancelled my Kindle Prime membership (separate fee). I read at least 3 Kindle books/week and enjoyed low or no cost Prime books. Shopping for Prime products was always hassle-free; buy/keep or free return, no questions asked, and 2-day delivery always. The 2-day delivery quickly disappeared in late October 2022 (a "glitch" I was told). Now, that has changed, and in many instances Amazon points to the Vendor for shipping/refunds, and, probably due to their warehouse of returned items, now have established parameters in the return policy. Everything now seems to be a hassle and it's always necessary to read the Terms and Conditions of a sale, who does the shipping, and who determines the refund policy - so unlike Amazon.com of the past. Saddened by the changes, I decided to cancel my Prime membership this year. Amazon.com will now lose all my business, approximately $1500/month according to my credit card invoices (I bought everything there, except food). Good business practice? More importantly, does Amazony care about losing a good customer? I don't think so.

I was a big fan of Prime. Now it's terrible. Get two day shipping they claim...that used to work, now it's more like 8 day shipping if they don't lose it.

Customer service is terrible, shipping is terrible, prime video is terrible.

I've subscribed to Walmart Plus. Same day delivery for most stuff, free shipping for all else and it's significantly cheaper. They also have Paramount plus for free. Sure, Paramount plus isn't great, but it's better than Prime Video.

Amazon sucks now.

Amazon is know for they fast shipping and delivery, however, when it comes to writing reviews, they will suppress your freedom of speech by deleting your review. AMAZON, YOU ARE VIOLATING THE FIRST AMENDEMENT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM SAYING WHAT THEY FEEL! If I or anyone else wants to leave a negative review for a company by saying that company's name, WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DO THAT! DO NOT DELETE OUR REVIEWS EVER AGAIN!

At first the deliveries were timely and the frozen items were properly packaged. Then a few months ago they stopped insulating frozen item and just put them in paper bags. Not an issue if you are first or second delivery, but when your delivery comes 90 minutes to two hours after you receive the notification that it is out for delivery... yes, almost everything frozen is thawed and either must be used immediately or discarded. And now they have increased the minimum for free delivery to $150. As I do not trust them delivering perishables any longer, it is so difficult to reach the minimum that I have mostly given up on Fresh delivery.

Delivery is awful.never received last delivery and the way it's going doesn't look like I'll receive the second delivery either. The second delivery I had or supposed to be deliver to a hub because they can never find my apartment. So now I'm supposed to drive 10 miles out of my way to personally pick it up and the hub closes at 6:00 pm.well it's not at the hub yet so most likely it won't show considering the type of drivers they have. So I know I'll be on the internet cancelling that order. I'm already watching the clock. I had it with incompetent drivers

I have been an Amazon Prime member for over 6 years and loved dealing with them until today. I ordered a stand up mirror jewelry box, it was delivered falling apart and with no hardware to put it together. I put in for a return and replacement jewelry box. Amazon will not help and they are saying I need to bring this enormous box to UPS to initiate my refund. I have made several calls and cannot get anyone to help me. I have no choice but to go through my bank and initiate a reverse charge for this product. I spend over $10k per year and will no longer be using them as I have in the past.

Difficult

Amazon locks out you from using your account if inactive for more than a year. Then there is a difficult process of trying to get a new password and no option to change your credit card on file. Terrible experience and no way to get back to use your account. For such a big company it is unbelievable how they make it so difficult to make basic changes to your account. I will not be using them going forward again to purchase online.

I have had nothing but good service from Amazon. I live outwith any town in the Highlands and find their delivery is usually on time and undamaged. I think some of the townies who criticise the service should use physical shops and then start realising the deals you can get. And they don't charge extra to deliver up here - unlike many others.
User's recommendation: Get in touch with them for your problems.

As a frequent shopper on Amazon, I have always been impressed with the wide selection of products available on the platform. The prices they charge for food are overpriced and the size of the food items are smaller portions in comparison to what you'd find in grocery stores. It leaves me to believe Amazon Fresh is for singles or couples, it's not for those who have families.
Last week I ordered food from the site to find out that they now charge for delivery between $4-10 depending on the window you choose. Not only are they charging you this, but you must also pay $15 for Amazon Prime, then they expect you to pay for a tip. What am I paying amazon prime for if I'm going to be charged for delivery?
They lost me as a customer because of this.
I'll also add that the $5-7 dollar tip they suggest, I don't pay because I live in a high rise, and they %50 of the time, leave my groceries in the lobby under the sign that reads do not leave groceries in the lobby. The instructions say to bring it to the door but they don't.
Meh... I'm going to Stop And Shop Online Service.
Amazon Fresh, you lost A LOT of MONEY with me.
You could have saved money with that waste of a lot of bagging instead of charging your customers to make up money losses. Coolaid packed in one grocery back is ridiculous and a waste.

Very unhappy

My mom ordered a package got confirmation that it had been delivered with a picture of it on a porch with a red door which hers is not red so she called them and they told her to go look for it. Really didn't know that we would have to go door to door looking for our package that by the way we still have not gotten. I am very unhappy and irritated with them if I wanted to deal with a bunch of people I would have went to the store and bought what I had ordered. And I thought Amazon prime was suppose to be good what is the prime part go find your package that's what we are paying for no thank you. Use someone else don't pay extra to have to try and hunt your merchandise down. Here's the picture we got and of our door.

I have been using amazon for years and this is the first time I have been upset and angry with them.I got amazon cards for my birthday from my mom and sister because my family knows that I loved Amazon. But the most I spent my birthday Amazon cards on was a sheet set that I never received and never had the money put back on my account.I called customer service and just went round and round with them did not get anything done. I'm done with Amazon because of how a loyal customer like me was messed over by half of my birthday money thanks for nothing Amazon.
