I ordered three bottles of black ink AND AMAZON WAS TO VERIFY FOR the third party. I received blue ink and the company refers back to AMAZON to make all the corrections for a return fee! I had no shipping on the original order and I would have to drive miles to get to a shipping center and pay fees. AMAZON DOES IT AGAIN...and so does their "approved" companies! NOBODY HELPS!
I have loved Amazon for as long as I can remember. Still, to this day I find a lot of unique and adorable goods on this site that I have never seen anywhere else.
This is one of the best sites to purchase from because they have everything under the sun even saunas and exercise equipment. Amazon was always one of my favorite sites and always will be just because I love how I can purchase whatever I want.
You can do all and only Christmas shopping here or even birthday present shopping, you don't even need to go to the store and buy stuff.
I know, Amazon may have its flaws here and there, but what doesn't? If you want to shop for some adorable, unique, or silly items. You should shop with Amazon!
For me, Amazon deserves more than five stars they deserve a thousand stars. They own a lot of things I love that came from them such as my parasol, my favorite backpack, and even Betsey Johnson purses which I love.
Amazon, you guys are great, I love you! :)
Lately I have become more frustrated with Amazon. Orders delivered late or to the wrong address. I recently had an order to be delivered on Wednesday by 10 pm nearing the final hour I received an email pushing back delivery to the next day. The next day same thing and the following day they canceled order and said I could reorder. The problem was upon reordering the price was increased by 7 dollars. As far as I can tell the company will not allow you to review them but only sellers. Must be nice to be so big you don't need input for improvement and your customers don't matter
I HAVE Been with Amazon /prime for many many YEARS.Now I am terminally ill and I am a widow. I purchased lights yesterday I received them they were damaged I want to replacement I told them I would have the damage lights all packaged up waiting for them when they dropped off the new lights and they told me I would have to pay $7.49 in order for them to pick up the damaged lights! They have to come here anyway their hands are not broken they can pick up the other package it's very light and bring that back to their warehouse why do I pay a membership this is absolutely appalling and disgusting this is how they keep getting richer and richer again what do I pay a membership for
Amazon is an incredible online marketplace that provides an unrivaled purchasing experience. The platform's extensive product range, cheap pricing, and quick shipping make it a popular destination for shoppers worldwide. Amazon distinguishes itself from other online retailers by its user-friendly design and great customer support.
I went on holiday to the US and was staying at an air bnb from a PRIME Account. Prime orders arrive within 48 hours.
I placed an order on Dec 21,2022
On Dec 24 I called and said "hey, I did not receive this item and I leave my air b n b on Monday Dec 26,2022" and the agent offered me a full refund. I returned home and thought that was the end of it and all was well.
In March 2023 I got an email telling me that I was charged for the item because I did not return the item. Why I asked when I called, and they said because the item was delivered.
I called and said I did NOT get the items and that I left on Dec. 6,2022 and the item was delivered on Dec 27,2022 and they said that I am charged because the item was delivered regardless of me not being there.
What?!
How is that ethical?
No wonder Jeff Bezos is so rich. Amazon steals money from people and after their credit cards have been billed, clients are notified.
This is ridiculous.
Escalating it with Amex.
I am disgusted.
Useful site and excellent services. I thank all those in charge of this site. I have benefited greatly from dealing with you
I have been a Amazon Prime member for years. For the most part they are very good at getting a order out and delivered fast. But their customer service is poor. They start off with the old AI online ploy. No response back once the thread conversation starts. Then a phone call to a person that is difficult to understand. That person tries to email me and text me for verification. Those emails and texts never came to me. I asked if the person could call me on a landline ( another number) and they said yes but never did.
I currently stopped using Amazon for my online shopping. I've been a loyal Amazon customer for years but now has lost all appeal to me. The 2 day shipping was amazing but now everything I order is a minimum of a week. The prices aren't any better than other online sites so without the fast shipping there really is no benefit to paying for it.
I ordered Dark Spot (for lightening facial spots). I have been using it for 2-1/2 weeks, morning and evening. I can tell my spots are lightening already. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to lighten spots on their face.
This apparently happens more frequently than not according to the ring camera community forum in our neighborhood. We had just moved to this address and I hadn't gotten around to fixing the Ring door camera yet. Amazon says our package was delivered and based that conclusion on a photo of the package by our front door but there was no package and the doorbell never rang. We were home all day that day and no one rang the doorbell. We contacted customer service twice on two consecutive days only to be given the runaround of faq's or chatting with a bot. Finally when we got to speak to a live agent were given the "our policy says" dry reply with a very pompous attitude by a manager called Jane who asked us to go through a loophole of items such as obtaining a police report, the officer's badge number, his name and a list of other items some requiring us to go down to the police station to get. What I found appalling here is that the victim is given the burden of proof and asked to do their investigation for them instead of being understanding and appreciative of the past 15 years plus of patronage. That item was meant as a birthday gift for my dad which came and went without it. Shame on you Amazon Prime..
Update - 9/27/23. - Another Amazon "LAZY" delivery package launch on to my porch. Now I have 2 broken LED Floodlights. (The sign is right in front of the drivers that they are being recorded).
Update - 7/12/23 - Amazon POOR Delivery.
Amazon Driver launches a package on to my porch that is clearly marked as "Extremely Fragile" on ALL SIDES.
Now my electronic device does not work right out of the package. See below for more details. (see video's & picture.)
The sign directly in front of the driver on the porch says that he is being recorded.
Amazon told me that I have a high return rate and asked me "is there is anything that they can do"?
My response……"Stop launching packages on my porch".
This is what you will get for being a Amazon Prime Member.
Amazon needs to get their act together.
This company makes obtaining warranty requests from Amazon Seller's extremely difficult after 30 days.
If you send a Seller a request for a warranty claim or product issue, Amazon insists that you do not send personal information to the Seller such as email addresses, physical addresses & phone numbers.
Amazon fulfills over 90% of orders, so Seller's don't have your contact information. Only your money.
Here is the message you will receive if you want to contact a Amazon Seller.
Please limit your text to less than 4000 characters. For your security, do not include any personal information including email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers or credit card numbers in your message.
So here is my question?
If I can't give the Seller any of my personal information….how am I supposed to get warranty coverage for an item purchased on Amazon?
(Don't bother contacting Amazon after 30 days for help either. They will simply tell you that the return window has closed and that there is nothing else that they can do.) - (see pic)
You have to play a game with Amazon and send messages to Seller's in a way that Amazon won't intercept the message and it is undeliverable.
I usually type everything out on paper and take a picture of it and use that to send a message to the Seller via Amazon messaging.
Lastly, if you leave a Seller a honest and fair review and Amazon doesn't like your honesty….you will get a nasty red message and they also do NOT reply for a explanation either. (see pic)
A product that has a (1) year warranty that I bought 6 months ago which broke….I can't get help with because of Amazon nonsense policies. (see pic)
If you are in the mood for a extremely hard time, difficulties & terrible, bad customer service after 30 days of purchase….contact Amazon via chat or a phone call. You will get EXACTLY what you are looking for. A heart attack. I promise.
What a waste of time!
Amazon no longer values their customers they do not hold two the dates they indicate they going to deliver the items are not as indicated and they promise to make sure that your item is delivered on certain dates and send you confirmation email and weeks go past and still no results and they said they can do anything until receiving the item well if you never received the item how can you do anything when their staff promise item that you providing to your customers how could you conduct business based off of there lack of performance
First they put my account on pending when spending 300 dollars on my baby's shower stuff and then when they finally give me my money back and I reorder they didn't even send all my stuff and then when I call they said they can't give me a refund or a replacement order when my baby shower is in a couple days! So not only are they keeping my money, I'm missing half my stuff for my baby shower! NEVER AGAIN. Mark your days Amazon.
Amazon USED TO GREAT now they are extremely POOP. Prime is not worth the money. Make an order and it takes 4-5 day to even ship and when it get to your area for delivery add another 2-4 days if your lucky. You get an email saying it's out for delivery but wait it still may take 2-3 days if your lucky. I'm done with prime it's a waste of money
Amazon Fresh used to be good and I was happy. Now it sucks and I'm unhappy. Charge for delivery if below a certain amount…never did that before. Always been a Prime member, which is supposed to allow for free grocery delivery. Says delivery is available for a certain time and then changes meaning you're not guaranteed to get everything. Now everything requires you to select a substitution item or not to substitute, very frustrating. To me that is poor inventory management. Once someone orders something it should show in the system as being held for an order. There really is no excuse for an item to not be available. Been ordering from Amazon Fresh for awhile now but sadly all good things seem to come to an end these days. Sigh!
Amazon has fallen in its performance over the last year. They do not deliver on their promise of seedy delivery. I had placed an order in Feb 2023, the system indicated it will arrive in a week and end of March, I am still waiting for my order. Finally, had to cancel it as I am tired of waiting.
Seriously considering cancelling my Prime Membership as the monthly membership privilege of quick delivery seems non-existent.
I've been dealing with Amazon for five months now trying to get a refund on an item I purchased and returned. My original card I used for the purchase was stolen and they tell me they don't have any other alternative to return the money. Basically I'm out 200 dollars. They are rude and theives. Now I'm out '
My money and the product I purchased.
I have had one of 18 items in the last 60 days arrive on the original scheduled date. Amazon has fallen into a "I don't care about customer loyalty status" Pretty pathetic. It is pretty hard to share a photo when the product is always late.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
