I don't understand how it could possibly take over 40+ (I gave up) minutes to speak with a representative.
Since the middle of 2022 I have had several items never show up & the refunds not issued at all in a few cases. The shipping information just says picked up by carrier forever & you can't get a live person to help & the virtual assistant never helps. I am tired of not getting gifts I have ordered or household things I desperately need.
Amazon shipping-delivery service has been failing in April, May and early June 2023.
Twice in 2 months Amazon has completely lost my items.
When there is a time limit on when the item is needed - such as a birthday gift, or travel item when leaving on a trip - this causes a huge hassle.
Personally, I will be ordering from Target, instead, as much as possible.
I've been dropping off returns at the UPS Store with no hassle but now Amazon was going to charge $1.99 to drop off my return at the UPS Store so I chose the free Kohl option instead. What a pain in the rear. Had to park out in a big parking lot and walk to the back of this big department store just to drop off the Amazon return. On top of that, cell service is practically non-existant inside the store, but I was finally able to get logged into Kohl's wifi and pull up the QR codes for the returns. Amazon used to be great on returns but now they stink.
This company needs a better customer service, overall they need people who understand customer needs with claims and returns and better education with the customer!,; I guess this service people don´t get paid well and that is the reason they don't care about the customers, it is my opinion, Amazon must change this policies and better customer service, thank you!
I ordered gift cards for Christmas. One card valued at $450 was useless and after trying to get a refund or replacement for approximately two months I gave up. I will never buy gift cards from them again. Other purchases have been satisfactory.
Bought pair of trainers on Amazon, was told would be delivered on Friday or Saturday, they were delivered on the Thursday without telling me or giving a window for delivery and left outside my front door in a public place where they have been stolen. I have now wasted 5 hours plus trying to pursue this matter with Amazon, who are completely obstructive. The system drops off every time, then when I do get through I speak to what sounds like call centres abroad who say they completely understand but clearly don't and do absolutely nothing to help but just waste your time with empty nicety's - after 5 hours plus I am still no nearer getting this issue resolved - I have messages on the account from the seller but am unable to view the messages even after loading the Amazon app and the customer services are UNABLE to help me view the messages- did I say obstructive? Everything in there system is designed to be as difficult and unhelpful as possible, I would guess a lot of people just give up - absolutely shocking and completely unacceptable service -
I ordered medicine for my cat and needed it that day. According to the site, it would be delivered the same day I ordered and I paid an additional $10 for this delivery date. I received an email from Amazon stating that it would NOT be delivered for three days. When I contacted Amazon (don't bother - no one speaks English nor do they understand the language), I was informed pretty much too sad, too bad. I told him I wanted the order cancelled and I wanted a refund. He stated I would NOT be receiving a refund. I will NEVER order from these criminals again.
I am starting to debate dropping Amazon prime... completely after over a decade of being a customer. Amazon is expensive, the price keeps going up, and the quality of service keeps going down. This is not how you handle an online store if you want to stay in business.
I used to use Amazon music. When I first had it it was part of the membership. Then they decided they needed to charge extra for it in addition to massively raising the cost for Amazon membership. Then the app started having major problems where it would crash and then refuse to load and/or connect to Amazon's music streaming service. This is why I switched to Pandora. Padora is relatively stable and offers a higher quality of service even if the library isn't as big as Amazon's.
Then there's Amazon's video streaming service. This too has suffered in quality. They used to offer more stuff like Avatar, Star Trek, and other movies and shows as simply part of the amazon membership. Then the moved to a model where you have to pay to stream many of the shows and movies not owned by amazon. For the value I might as well just download the apps for each streaming service or load them on my Roku.
Then there's their major portion of the business… the store. Don't get me wrong, I love what they do sell… it's like Portobello Road from Bed knobs and Broomsticks… "anything and everything a chap can unload is sold off the barrels of…" Amazon... it's the only reason I am giving them two stars. However, the quality has suffered greatly as they have become the Walmart of the internet. Not only that their shipping went from totally provided by third party vendors like UPS, USPS, and FedEx, to mostly provided by an innovator with big dreams and done well, to where it's at now with poorly trained overworked drivers, and Uber Delivery like drivers with not even their inhouse drivers bothering to follow instructions Why just this week alone every single delivery had some kind of delay or failure with two items that they completely failed to deliver. And that was about 4 or 5 deliveries. Not how you want to deliver services to your customers.
If you want to stay in business, as a company, you need to make sure your price is representative of the quality you provide not just something to appease your shareholders. Because if your service does not offer something customers feel is worth the price they will leave. This is business 101. If you don't keep the customers happy they will leave in droves. If Amazon keeps doing what they are doing rather than fixing their problems then I think we may see Amazon file for bankruptcy protection in a few years.
Filthy Driver part throwing trash out the window pile of trash outside of right the window of her car took pictures let her know that I was taking pictures she seen me told her to pick it up she did not care left her trash there and drove off I have pictures!
I have been ordering my groceries from Amazon Fresh for 2 years. Yesterday at 9:20am, I ordered $280 worth of groceries. My only option for delivery was 8 -10pm. At 8:30pm I received a text stating my order was out for delivery. 10pm, no groceries, no update, I called the driver, no answer, I called c/s, they called driver, no answer. They offer no help, just wait! 10:38pm, text, your order will be delivered soon. I go stand in the driveway, 10:39pm, driver shows up, parks at the next house over and doesn't say a word. Unpacks the car, deliveries the groceries with a helper and leaves. Once I retracted my $15 tip ( I order heavy items) I reviewed the crappy service, & processed a refund for my melted ice cream, defrosted meat & veggies. Since Amazon starting charging for delivery (purchases below $150), the service has become unreliable. If you check the delivery time on my Amazon account, it reads 9:15, not 10:39pm. I guess it's back to overpriced Instacart, at least they delivery quickly & communicate.
Amazon sent a broken laptop. When I contacted them I explained that there were no other exact laptops with the same specs for the price I paid. The man I spoke with assured me, even promised, he would send a refund based on the price of the replacement laptop. Low and behold the refund issued did not reflect the price of the new laptop. I called Amazon CS who informed me they could not issue the funds needed to purchase the same laptop but offered me a coupon I could use for anything other than the laptop I needed to purchase. Absolutely unacceptable. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing any type of electronics to seriously reconsider. I used to think Amazon was reputable but not anymore. Buyer beware!
Don't buy from anything from Amazon. Even though their drivers broke something you have to pay for that. Today I was talking about supervisor Vince he was so rude even he don't wanna listen to me blaming me all the time
Not okay that you order something coming from INSIDE the states and 10 days later it's still not here. Their app is CRAP NOW. BEZOS better get it together. Most of this stuff is now available on Temu and yes it takes longer but, they tell you that up front AND give you a 5.00 credit if it's late. Bout over Amazon.
Amazon isn't what it used to be. They are slower in shipping out your items. Prime 2 day shipping means nothing now. They keep charging my 16 year old daughter $14.99 a month even though she's cancelled multiple times. There's a high percentage of Chinese sellers that advertise as being from America. There's countless more reasons why Amazon is horrible now. I try to shop eBay first now. They are cheaper anyway. And there's just as many Chinese sellers on both. So we might as well shop the cheaper of the 2 sites.
They charged me for items I didn't get. No efficient customer service. It's extremely difficult to get in touch with them. If you buy protein or edibles they don't give you return options even if you didn't touch the merchandise
So I'm a Prime Member, does it matter? Nope, unless I need something in less than 10 days. I just bought 2 separate orders, paid separately for them, but they both came in a one humongous box which was patched together with pieces of cardboard. Had to return both items because they didn't fit and wanted to return them both in this makeshift box that Amazon delivered. But no per customer service, I had to use my own box for one of them. I have received things in clear plastic, no packing from Amazon (lucky it wasn't something really personal, beware), empty boxes, item missing, and on and on.
I requested that things not be put together in one box, but they DON'T listen or just do what they want.
Their prices are unbelievable. I've been buying Amazon basic puppy pads 150 in a pack for over a year. I bought it exactly one month ago and it went up $20 today. I refuse to pay for Amazon's stupidity.
Their customer service are mostly inept except for the ones who have been there for a long time. Their items are labeled wrong, lightweight is on the description and it is literally 50 lbs? They also charge everything together sometimes, then when you need to return something, it's impossible.
I hate Amazon, but feel that it's the only thing around. I refuse to use Walmart, I don't have a car, so have to use this rip off service.
Forget about being a Prime member, no perks, I use none of there so called services, just want my stuff overnight or in a day.
Really, what is wrong with them? They screw up so badly and continue to do so. How can they increase something $20 in one month?
Pathetic Amazon, but what other online site is there? I wish they would fall under, but it's not going to happen because like many other places they know they can away with it.
Inflation, a bunch of...
I used to purchase everything from Amazon however when a expensive pool ladder doesn't show and cost you $350 and Amazon is unable to assist. See ya Amazon it was fun!
Love Amazon because it's very convinent and they have literally anything you need! Love how it's easy to use and easy to get your packages.
Amazon.com, the world's largest online marketplace, has transformed the way we shop and revolutionized e-commerce. With its vast product selection, competitive prices, and unparalleled convenience, Amazon.com has become the go-to destination for millions of online shoppers.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
