Anyone can commend a site when things go well, but when there are problems, that's when you can test the real mettle of a company. On two occasions I have experienced problems with items I have received, and both times Amazon turned up trumps and without question rectified the faults. I don't shop via the Internet very often, but would have no hesitation in recommending Amazon to anyone.

I belong to Prime and love the free shipping and the prices on the items that I purchase from the Amazon site. Shipping is wonderful because everything arrives so quickly. I have not had any bad experiences and I've been shopping with Amazon for years.

Boards I ordered (with extremely discounted prices) were delivered damaged.
I recommend contacting their support on live chat. The first order was promptly replaced with a another board. The second order was the last one of a old 2013 model. I wanted to keep it and was given a fair discount to pay for a professional surf shop repair.
These SUP boards were extremely large and I understand that transporting can easily lead to damage by the shippers that Amazon can not control.
I recommend not try to call them but use their live e-chat and contact them as soon as you open your package and you will receive excellent support!
I can say I have been a customer with Amazon over 10 years and I have NEVER had good customer service from them. Ive called in four times today and all of the of the reps hung up on me. NONE of them actually spoke English and they clearly was lying. They like to talk over u while u are talking. They are argumentive and its crazy. They will hang up when u asked to speak with a supervisor. I'm tired of being disrespected. I can't even pronounced their names... again they didn't speak English. They will hang up on you while u are talking. I asked the first agent If she spoke English and she said "I'm talking to u aren't I?!?" No, not really! They do not know how to operate a computer because when I asked them a question about my order they made something up. I knew the answer because it gives the expected to ship date online but they said it was to ship today which online it said the next day. Do not waste your time calling them because u will not get an English person!
You have a problem, they will fix it. I have encountered my share of issues. But this place tends to make sure all things are always in line. Recommendable place to use.
I have always had excellent experiences ordering from amazon. The prices are reasonable, and my orders always arrive on time. I also use the amazon music app. It is easy to use, and works great. Kindle for android is great too. Amazon has a lot of deals on Kindle books. I love to read, so getting free or very low cost books is great. It's a good way to find new to me authors. If I don't like them I'm not out much money.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
