The worst part of my experience with Amazon was getting my money back. They kept it for more than six weeks before discovering that the money had actually been paid to another customer.
Even after that, I had to phone them repeatedly for hours at a time, and they were never able to fix the issue.
Instead than continuing to wait for Amazon to resolve the issue and refund my money, I wish I could just call my bank to request a refund.
This $900 transaction remained on my credit card because they were unable to resolve their issue.
I hope the management notices this and takes action. This is apparently a common problem on Amazon.com.

Prime day was very disappointing this year. They jacked their prices up from their normal prices, then put the discount on. For example,a pack of 5 onsies is normally $16.99,but as a prime day deal, they were $13.99 at 40% off, meaning they were more expensive then their everyday price of $16.99. This was with alot of products and to me that is very misleading so I will not support Amazon from now on.
Impossible to get something resolved that does not fit into one of their already made box's to choose from. Can never get to a real person who can help. Runs you in circles back to the same chat.
Lets see if this results in a real person contacting me to get my issue resolved?
Fake goods alert
Bought a Dyson hairdryer on Amazon.
It broke down so posted it back to Dyson for a repair under the warranty.
Dyson have kept it and refused to send it back as it's counterfeit.
Now Amazon want nothing to do with it because they claim it is now outside of the warranty period. It might be now (because it's taken so long to get a sensible response), but when I sent it to Dyson it was within the warranty time period.
Also - they say the order was fulfilled by a third party and so they can't help. They don't seem to care that (1) Counterfeit Dyson goods can be dangerous (2) Many other Amazon customers will have been sold the same fake goods - they could find out who, and contact them, but would rather not bother (3) They don't seem to care that this is ongoing. There is a "Buy again" option under what I bought from them first time. Why on earth would I want to buy another fake counterfeit item.
So beware of buying Dyson goods on Amazon.
If they're fake, Amazon can't be bothered to help sort it out. I've lost the money and don't have the goods any more either.

I ordered a pair of LA Tactical stretch cargo pant on 7\9\23 I was told the be here today before 10pm. I got a notification that the pants were delivered a 3:10 pm from Amazon. I arrived home no package on the front door as the notification stated, so I called Amazon customer services after waiting over 10 MI items for them to see what happened the to!d that the pants weren't delivered they be here on 7\13\23 before 10pm. This is not the first time this has happened, I am a faithful Prime customer but it seems that too often the website will tell me one delivery date when I order then immediately change it after I pay to one that's three or four days away. It's not that I need it immediately but if I am paying for a service then I expect it. Prime account cancelled.
The quality is disgusting, ink all over the shirt. We have been buying from Amazon for years. In recent years we find we are returning more and more items, chasing refunds etc. Amazon clearly allow anyone to sell on their site. Many of the items are coming from China. They are sending cheap items instead of the expensive item you have ordered to their Prime members and not only.
They will send you the wrong product and after they will claim the money back when you return it back claiming that YOU sent back the wrong product and that they sent the right product and they will charge you again for the product and get to keep the presumed wrong product
For the very first time since I've been an Amazon customer, I was dissatisfied. On Prime day, they had an item at 53% off. I put the item in my cart so I can purchase it later on. When I got home, the item was no longer at 53% off. It went back to its normal price. I called Amazon in hopes of them honoring the price that was there. They said there was nothing they could do. I spoke to a supervisor, and got the same response. Again, for the very first time, I give Amazon zero stars on their service. Every other time I had an issue with Amazon, they were able to rectify the situation. This time, they get a big thumbs down.
If zero stars was an option, that's what they would get.
For what seems like the 100th time, Amazon got another order wrong. This time, I ordered a $60 charging port. I received a set of 3 plastic bottle stoppers. I went through the channels ti let them know, and they said they would correct it. A few days later, I got more plastic bottle toppers. This time I called. If you're disabled, homebound, and unable to carry your groceries up to your fifth floor walk-up apartment, DO NOT rely on Amazon Fresh to do it for you. The delivery instructions clearly stated that the apt was at the top of a walk-up, and that the customer is disabled - the instructions went even further to say that if the Amazon Fresh delivery person won't bring it up, then to take it all back. Instead, "Terrance" ditched all the groceries in the lobby and declared it "delivered". Thanks for nothing, Terrance.
If been a prime member with Amazon for years. The pass few months starting in June. I see a trend happening of not getting my delivery as promised. In fact a good third are late or lost. The aggregating part is CS gives a hard time to resolve the problem. It's bad enough CS is outsource but they can't speech English clearly or disconnect. Their famous line "can you hold on". Ring a owner of several businesses the most important part is CS known as the gate keeper. I see a down fall of a company that taken to much on. For one raising the Prime member rate. Amazon has a good concept but needs to slow down and perfect each new idea. Yes I'll still shop Amazon but Walmart and Target is right on their heels.
They hold your refund for 30 days without advising you. I received the product on one day and they are telling me that it going to take 30 days to refund the money they took in one day. I was not advised of that. Then I talked to a supervisor who was named Sophia without a operator number could not give me any information and told me she does not know how to return process works do not shop here they are terrible..
Put order in 3 weeks ago. Got email invoice. My Credit card was charged. Never received item. Call Amazon. They had no record of my email. Had to do that over. Then said my order had declined but it had gone thru on my card. They would not give me a way to send a copy of of my bank record. So they have my money and I don't have the product and they would not help me find a way to show them I'd paid for it. This is a rip off. Not acceptable with all the stuff I've ordered from them.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
