They wait a week or more before shipping even if the item is close by. Delivery persons hand the packages to whoever is walking by and even posted that I signed when I was out of town. Very upset and plan to disregard Amazon as a shopping tool and will purchase my items elsewhere from now on. It's terrible when you order $700 to $800 worth of items and get this poor of service! Walmart ships right away and delivery is great with UPS or FEDEX! And free Shiy on orders over $25!
I bought a toaster oven/air fryer from Amazon that said it was in stock and to be delivered in a couple of days. Couple of days come and the delivery date changes to a few days later. That day comes and it changes again. By this point I'm irritated and ask for return/refund. I have no idea what happened, but now they're waiting for the product to return to them to issue me a refund. I never got the product, and I shouldn't have to wait for them to figure their stuff out to get my money back! Ridiculous
I have used Amazon for years but really started ordering so much more from them when Covid started. I have had a few problems in the past but was always able to solve the problem but not this time! Be careful when you buy an item and then return it! Amazon has a contract with UPS and if you give an item to UPS and it is never scanned then you are out of luck. UPS will say they can't do anything because they have a contract with Amazon.go to Amazon. Amazon will tell you to wait 14 business days and then they will refund you. That's a lie. They won't file a missing package report, then they email you and say that its too late, they didn't get the package and you are out the money AND the item! I have been fighting with them for a month over this situation. Neither UPS or Amazon will take responsibility! I handed the package right to the UPS driver with 3 other packages.they were all refunded to me that same night. Somehow one package never got scanned? Amazon has insurance. They could easily refund me. They just don't want to. I am DONE with Amazon. RIP OFF big time!

My issues with Amazon isn't so much about their products but rather their advertising and customer service. Very often they will advertise delivery overnight or within a day or two and they never can deliver on that expectation. When you call to get a resolution they're quick to give you a refund but sometimes it's not about the money It is about actually receiving the merchandise. There's never an option of compensation with an item that similar and guaranteed to get to you within a reasonable time. Any item that's frequently purchased and there is difficulty keeping it in stock should never be an item that you're guaranteeing delivery in 2 days or overnight. Their staff is rude Not all have the ability to comprehend and or understand the dialect. Amazon you need to do better.
What's the point of paying for an exclusive prime membership when they just wait til the last minute to ship things out and for it to arrive later than the guaranteed prime delivery date? Not worth paying for any membership fees for false advertisement.

I did not have the option to leave zero Stars so I had to click one and that's giving too much. I am a frequent Amazon fresh user I've never had an issue with the delivery until today I moved into a new apartment I left specific detailed instructions for the delivery driver to come to my new address as well as apartment number which he did not read food was delivered at previous address picture was blurry couldn't even see the bags or the door clearly all you can see was a red blur and brown blur from bag. Spoke to 2 different agents including one higher than the previous I was informed that I could not get my food redelivered today to the correct address and I was also informed that I wouldn't be able to make any delivery purchases for the next 3 to 5 days being that would take how long the money is reissued. I'm extremely upset unhappy Amazon is a multi-million dollar company and you can't resend someone's food the same day to the CORRECT ADDRESS. THESE DELIVERY DRIVERS NEED TO ACTUALLY READ WHAT WE WRITE. So I guess I'll just be in my apartment hungry for the next three Fn days because you guys are too lazy to send someone what they already paid for. Extremely upset and hungry sincerely not a happy customer. He must have taken this picture while he was running I'm pretty sure he didn't slow down long enough to read what address to bring it to...idiot
Should have stuck with books. PRIME no longer means anything. Deliveries at 10pm? Almost never on time anymore. Customer service terrible. All blame on sellers, as if Amazon cannot hold its sellers to higher standards. A ton of junk from China. Far too much packaging and much of it frustrating and bad for the environment. Search function? Worst on the planet. Stop serving me what YOU want me to buy. Within 2 minutes, I'm out and buying elsewhere. You have become just one of thousands of of other options. I use Amazon less & less. If I do stumble on something, I often leave the site and buy directly from the seller. You've lost your edge.
I recently ordered a product from Amazon, and I couldn't be more disappointed with what I received. Instead of the item I purchased, all I got was an empty box. It's frustrating and unacceptable to experience such a glaring oversight in their delivery process. I hope Amazon takes this seriously and improves their quality control to prevent this from happening to other customers. Second time Amazon destroyed my mail box and both times didnt stop to knock or leave a note. Also good luck finding a customer service number.
Amazon delivery is ridiculous. I have tons of photos where they block my driveway and other times park in middle of street which stops traffic including emergency personnel. Me and my family are no longer customers because we report these incidents to them and they don't care. I'm keeping the photos for proof.
Amazon is my "go to" vendor, and I purchase from them frequently. I think highly of customer service overall; however, shipping is unsatisfactory. I receive about half of my orders on time, but almost all show as delivered on time. Amazon asks if I've looked all around my house, in the mailbox, checked with my neighbors, and won't take a claim until two days after the product was marked delivered. Product often shows up a day later but not always. Don't know if this is done intentionally by USPS or Amazon so that it appears delivered on time? I attempted to have it delivered to an Amazon drop, but none is available in my area. I ALWAYS check mailbox and all around my house, but I absolutely will not go knocking on doors everytime this happens!
I've been buying stuff from Amazon prime never gets here when they say and you pay for prime it's supposed to be quick. I bought some sandals for the Bahamas, so I went to the Bahamas for two weeks come back. The sandals are not still here and we can a half longer they say I have to wait, so it will be a month waiting for the sandals, so I'm canceling Amazon prime. Have been a prime member for years, and they charge more now for this membership than when i started and give less now. What happened to prime member two day guarantee? This company will do nothing but apologize for their shortcomings and don't seem to care about their customer base because they are so big they don't have to care. The savings are not what they used to be either…many items you find cheaper at walmart or somewhere like them than on amazon. I feel that they are failing as a whole to honor what they have promised to prime members. Why pay for a membership when you can get free 5-10 day delivery if you spend a certain amount? Where is the value in membership if this is the amount of time it takes with or without meme ership?

I received an email from Amazon stating that I could take advantage of a 30-day free trial and not be charged until 30 days unless I canceled. However they charged my account the same day my trial started. I called customer service to fix the situation. They just refunded my money and take two to five business days. But I didn't get to take advantage of the 30-day free trial as advertised. So be very careful of the emails you get from Amazon letting you know about a 30-day trial membership. I think it's fraudulent for them to do that.
Amazon service presently is noticeably worse than just a year ago. I used to read negative reviews from customer issues (damaged, missing, delayed products) and thought they were exaggerations because that had never been my experience. 2023 so far has convinced me that those reported issues are real and common as I have experienced all those things. And the problems appear to be getting worse.
My current pain point with Amazon is their Hub: Product orders are required to be place in the lockers, customers receive a code to retrieve, and the final step of delivery is complete. Except now the packages are delivered, the customer sees the notification in their app, but no code is provided so the final step is incomplete until more time and steps take place to either complete the delivery or end the sale in frustration, obtain the refund, and buy those products from another company.
Given the degradation of service and undependability of shipping, there isn't much reason to use Amazon for anything other than a last resort.
I ordered a phone case from Amazon. I am a prime member and specifically ordered it to have it today because I have a new phone that's $1500 with no case or anything. I was told i would have it today. Now it didn't show up and I was just told it won't for a few days. I'm sorry but that's not okay and especially as a prime member I contacted them upset and was told they were gunna give me a credit and guess what I didn't get the credit. I have had many issues with them recently. From being charged for wrong things to not getting orders on time. When u have a prime membership and pay for things its crazy that they still screw u over. Shop elsewhere! Don't buy through Amazon go to eBay or somewhere else

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
