Bought a new book and received a used one, with underlines of wordings all over the book. Called Amazon 4 times to arrange for a pick up for return/refund, were promised that UPS/DHL would pick up the item, but always nobody turn up. After almost 2 weeks and I am still in endless waiting. The worst service I have ever encountered. Will never buy anything from Amazon again.
I spent over $400 on a product that is a pos. The seller refunded me $36 and Amazon would not do anything about it. I have been a prime member since it became available and with my whole family shopping spent a lot of money on Amazon and they would not even give me a credit.
Overall I am satisfied with my experience at Amazon, but two areas of major improvement needed. First is the product reviews and pricing. There are thousands of positive reviews for so many items, and it's clear that the reviews are bogus or not really associated with that product. There needs to be a way to only view products sold by Amazon directly, because many market sellers way overprice items that can be purchased cheaper elsewhere (like Walmart, Target, etc). The second issue is they make it too difficult to get help when there's an issue with an order.
Everytime I decide to order something I seems like they can get anything else to the same address but my stuff. My mother can order and she'll get it. But if it's mine you have random problems or you say it's lost. How tf do you just loose it and that's that. Worst company ever. Wish is a better app than this garbage
Recently purchased an amazon fire stick. After day one I had problems with it, it would not read any external USB memory I attached to it. This was the 4k version and suppose to the the newer and better version yet the version I wanted to replace is capable of reading USB drives. After repeated attempts to get it to work it started presenting other issues as well. The remote microphone for Alexa stopped working, and it wouldn't go to the home screen from the remote. Customer service was a nightmare to deal with until I to finally decided to return it for a refund, this after they couldn't figure out how to do a replacement for their defective item. A fire Stick for $14.99 is to good to be true; I believe these items are most likely refurbished items Amazon is trying to get rid of claiming these are new. What a ripoff, don't by these item, you'll regret it.
I ordered groceries and places the order to be delivered in the afternoon. After the window past that I was suppose to receive the groceries, I called and the rep explained the order had not been assigned to a driver and my only options were to cancel the order and reorder and continue to wait and hope that it gets assigned. They had already charged my card and even when they cancelled the order, they took a week to refund me back my money so I wasn't able reorder the same day and I still without any groceries and money because of Amazon. NEVER ORDER GROCERIES FROM AMAZON!
As a long time Prime customer I ordered a pair of Asics running shoes, I received someone's old Reboks destroyed sneakers instead.
Prime is not worth it anymore... always running late... canceling my service
Not sure what has happened to Amazon?
The reason for any stars on this review is because I can't give them any less, they won't let you. I ordered the day before my delivery that did not show up. I called the driver after it was delayed twice, he said call Amazon customer service it was canceled. So I called three times to get my order correct the first 2 reps said everything will be taken care of. It wasn't. They not only had the order incorrect but after specifically letting them know I must have this order they turn around without my knowing and had me wait for 3-5 business days before I can receive my refund. I was not able too get my items until I received my refund. This is an Amazon Fresh order. I have physical disabilities that slow me down with much pain which is why I order. I was out of food and can order according to my checks from work biweekly but can only order once a month. I am without food for 3-5 days before I can go shopping in hopes that I am off work for that entire day because it's very hard on me as it is without going into work that same day. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. I have had this happen before time and time again. I am a senior citizen. Now if I were permanently disabled and had no help, how would I be able too get my groceries and supplies. This is not a business that cares about their customers this is a business out for money only. They have permanently lost me a loyal customer. Once bitten twice shy. Once messed up shame on them, twice messed up shame on me. Well the shame is no longer on me.
Can I give them less than 1 star?
I typed the wrong password and Amazon says I can't use my e-mail address or phone number.
The only option is to change my phone number and create another e-mail address.
It's too much hassle to change my phone number and contact everyone I know and contact all companies, doctors, and government agencies just for Amazon's convenience.
This book "Life is Like a Box of Chocolates..." is a compilation of short stories that the author has experienced and decided to describe these situations of her life. Everything that is going on in the book happens in Kazakhstan, which is not a very well-known country for everybody in the world. The uniqueness is in the description of life in small or big cities of one girl, who happened to live through her ups and downs. The first readers of the book evaluated it as emotional. I assume the genre of the book is inspirational, romance, and a-bit-of-a-mystery fiction. The three stories are different.
I ordered a long neck butane lighter 15 may 2023 it's 28 July 2023. I can't cancel as it is showing as shipped when I tried to review it was rejected. My review only stated that it has been two and a half months, Amazon says that doesn't meet their standards for a review. Nothing in my review isn't fact.
I wrote a few books and they started selling on KDP Amazon. But for 18 months now I have not been able to get into my personal account, because I don't receive a password on my phone (although I never set one). From the same floor, payments also stopped. I already changed phone and sim card. And numerous attempts to restore access through the support service were unsuccessful - I wrote more than 100 letters and called support 7 times.
It looks like Amazon embezzled my money and intellectual work. I ran out of energy to fight the KDP AMAZON bureaucracy
Amazon has forgotten it'd people like you and me that allowed them their success. I have several issues with Amazon but I will showcase four. Amazon sells from 3rd parties that violate most warranties. I bought the grass that you roll and water. It didn't grow. If I had bought it from the manufacturer like I was led to believe I could have gotten a replacement or refund. Furthermore, the manufacturer said they had not authorized any 3rd party to sell their product. Two, false advertising. I saw an ad for UTI medicine. The medicine didn't have anything to do with UTI but was simply PM advil. Three, canceling orders. I recently ordered a product and discovered I still had an entire new bottle. I canceled the order within 20 minutes. I was told they were working on my request. Four hours later I get a noticed telling me it was shipped. I called Customer service and was told it was probably canceled but had to wait until the delivery day to wait and see. It was delivered. Called again and was told I could pay for it to be picked up or drive 30 minutes to an UPS location. The last issue is about deliveries. I will order several items and Amazon wants me to wait and have them delivered at once. I pay for prime and some items I need right away. Instead, Amazon will send them when they want, not within the 2 day I was promised. I ordered a 40 lb item and it was shipped through the Post Service. It was not in the jeep because it was too heavy. I had to wait four more days and go in to work late to pick up the item. Amazon customer service did nothing for any of my issues. I spent $1891.73 last year for home, office and the church. Can you guess what I will spend moving forward...ZERO.
My main complaint -when ordering the page will say "Delivery tomorrow if ordered in x amount of time" or on the payment page it will say delivery tomorrow but 9 time out of 10 when you get the confirmation it is 2 or 3 days.
Every time I order a large product from Amazon, as a long time PRIME member, I get a "guaranteed delivery date". Purolator misses it by multiple days. I wait home when I know a large package is coming as I don't want it stolen from my porch. This time, and the last, I ordered a rowing machine. Even if delivered today it will be three days late, and based on Purolator tracking I can see it has been sitting in a Purolator depot 20km from my house for the last four days. I contact Amazon and they can do nothing. I will not be ordering much from Amazon in the future if the PRIME membership means nothing to them and they cannot hold their partners accountable for later deliveries.
Purchased the item above. Tracked it the first day to delivery date only to show no actual item delivered. Shipping even said signed by person check Ring camera all of the delivery day to see no Amazon truck in the area. Called Amazon up, they say to check with neighbors (again, my Ring camera says otherwise). Amazon ask for refund. I ask if seller of the item can honor their item and resend? Amazon customer service says he called seller, while on hold, say seller would honor and send out the item in a few days. Over a week later nothing! I called again and told them of this situation only to get a refund which they said was in process even though I didn't even ask for one. Customer service even said they sent out an email saying so but I checked my email to see no emails from Amazon.
This whole situation is pathetic on Amazon's part. The biggest store online in the world and they couldn't even help a lonely single person. They would rather let the seller keep selling items they can't honor. If I can give zero star to Amazon I would.
I recently moved into an area of quadplexes, every single time I get a packaged delivered from Amazon, it gets delivered to the wrong building or door number! Today it was delivered to Apt. 1, my Apt number is 3. It's ridiculous that they cannot pay enough attention to the address. I am unhappy with customer service not being able to help with this. It is a waste of my time and resources. I am sick of having a package delivered to the wrong house and having to wait another week for a replacement!

Surprisingly it is very easy to get good deals on amzon and here's! One!
Last month my account was compromised. Before anything shipped or any payments even processed I called them right away. They assured me everything was canceled by the end of the phone call. A day or so late I noticed everything was still in my account. When I would try to delete it I was unable to do so. Everything was marked as payment revision needed. I call back to Amazon they assure me it's fine it will go away everything was canceled nothing will actually happen. That couldn't have been further from the truth and not only my bank account but another card got hit for all these items. After a few phone calls I was able to get some refunds. However after 15 or more calls they keep promising refunds on the rest of the items but I have you to receive them. The thought of making more phone calls to them to be lied to is so stressful. They promised none of these items would come out of my accounts. They promised everything was canceled each time I called. Yet here we are and I'm still out money. I recently had the chance to renew my prime membership and decided against it. After having one for years I just don't think I can give them more money after they have taken and lied to me.
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
