I ordered 2 items in the amazon, different delivery dates, before the delivery date,( first item)i notice that i entered a different address and forgot to change it before checking out, then i called the amazon help center, i spoke to one of their agent (boy)
And i asked him if i can change the billing address, i was told that there is no option for that, instead he told me to wait for the delivery man's call then i can request him to deliver to the address that i want… so the. The next day, i'm shocked when i checked the status of my order, it was cancelled! Then i request a call from the amazon, which they are using the +44 code number, i spoke to a lady customer service agent, i complained about what happened, i told her that no one is calling me but the status of my order was "cancelled), i told her my concern, then she didn't help me with that, then i asked the lady agent if i can change the address of my remaining order, i'm shocked again because that lady agent told me, to be ablr to change the address, i need to cancel ny order, wait for the refund and order it again, wow, scary… she don't even know how important my order it was… amazon should change that lady agent …
As of this moment I am coming up on 4 weeks of being locked out of my account and not one person is competent enough to help me resolve this problem. I have followed all their directions and spent HOURS on the phone begging for help. I have even called the corporate office in which you cannot make it past the receptionist as they do not concern themselves with petty customer problems. I am completely disgusted by this company! I have been a prime customer for 10 years and I am done with their incompetence.
I placed an order on July 2nd 2023 a Clarks footwear and a mobile pouch. After doing the payment the order got cancelled and it showed I will get the refund in 5-7 business days. I followed up a lot of times with customer service and they were also saying the same thing. I paid 2420 via Amazon pay and 377 via debit card. Even after a lot of follow ups I haven't got the money till now. I must say the worst customer service I have ever faced and I lost a huge amount. No use if sending e mails also. No reply. Very bad service Amazon. Plz appoint some responsible people in custom service.
I have ordered multiple items from Amazon throughout the years from all over the country being delivered from all different parts of the world BUT New Orleans Louisiana is absolutely the most worst place to get any items delivered. The drivers are incompetent and will not read instructions plus will have an attitude when you ask them to do so. If you live in New Orleans, good luck on getting any items delivered. Whoever the regional manager is, should be replace by someone that can perform better leadership.
Either they deselect my chosen timeslot without my knowledge, or delivery guy fails to deliver merchandise, or products are damaged and no proper customer care response. Pathetic. Stick to other grocery delivery services any day.

This has been crazy this year. I ordered an item received the wrong item got a replacement and 6 months later they charged me again because online the replacement says $0. Spent hours getting it credited. Again just today received an item from Amazon, not 3rd party, it had a sticker over the package bar code with the wrong item and the replacement was wrong also. CS from China couldn't give me a refund for just the wrong item so he credited the whole order. I said I don't want to have to call again. When I got the other item low and behold charged for the whole order again. Again an hour on the phone and I hope in 5-7 days I get the credit for their warehouse robot error on my cc'd.
I have been concerned about a doenward trend in customer service for a while, today was my breaking point, I cancelled my membership. This is how the build up for me went, The chargiing for movies on prime movies, even the oldies 4.99 for something from the fifties. Problems with prime sellers, first time was a year ago, never got my item but it took 6 months to get my money back, then this year I ordered an Item from china for two months the status was shippec, amazon won't help it was obvious there was a problem but I had to deal with china. Eventually I got a refund because it was list in shipping of note though the tracking number was the wrong format for the shipper used Today was a four month old sewing macine which doesn't work, worst thing us the same macine is 5.00 cheaper and in stock in walmart. Goodby Amazon, oh and I have friends who delivered fir them...another nightmare
Don't give an arrival date you cannot guarantee.
Know your shipping companies procedures before guaranteeing arrival date. Bogus claims of "address correction" dishonor you and shipper.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Amazon's shipping service, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The efficiency and speed of their shipping left a positive impression on me.
I pay for prime for fast delivery which is nonexistent at this point then they are selling third party and when it all falls apart amazon says deal with the third party(jegs) who also suck. Here's a 10 dollar credit, I have 10 hours over a two week span trying to solve just this one of many issues and still don't have what I ordered but I do have a 10 dollar credit
Our order was placed easy the order arrived on time and the packaging was intact no complaints what so ever
Unfortunately, I can't write a review of Amazon directly w/o involving the manufacturer. Watch out for Amazon. They have changed. They will hold a customer's money for over 30 days without any explanation. Try to talk with upper managment and the "supervisors." They will tell you anything to keep from being pinned down when Amazon will return a customer's money. I sent the product back on 07/21/23 and they received it on 07/26.23. A "supervisor" said that the money would be in the bank on 08/28/23. IS THIS THE AMAZON WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS? WHAT'S CHANGED?
Amazon has gotten to big & just can't take care of their customers. My package was left at the wrong door. This is even though I live in a secure complex with a locked Amazon Locker System, but Amazon leaves it at a strangers door with my name & address on it. They promised a refund, didn't happen & and to call again. I cancelled my Prime membership. It's a hassle, but, I will just order from the manufacturer.

I love the idea of putting items in my backpack, scanning my palm, and leaving the store without going through a traditional check out. But...if you have a question about anything such as items listed on the web but not in the store, expect a rude and impatient response. Not sure where Amazon is getting these store associates but they could use customer experience training. Does anyone at Amazon understand the lifetime value of a customer - I'm not so sure!
If you are looking for a better experience, go to Wegman or Trader Joe's where customers are not treated like an annoyance.
I loved Amazon for many years. Until lately that I noticed that I cannot find the link to review the shipping and handling portion of the transaction. So I tried leaving a review at the product description and complained about the missing parts of the product I purchased (actually only a couple of screws) due to sloppy packaging. It is likely that Amazon did the packaging so they did not have a link to review their packaging activity. If it was the seller who did the pakaging, then certainly they have pressured Amazon to clamp down on negative reviews about their products and packaging. But the fact that Amazon rejected my negative comments, the seller does not respond to my queries, and Amazon does not provide a link for review of the packaging and handling-- tells me that Amazon is slowly evolving into the typical business model of "screw the customer". So I am now back to "buyer beware because corporate Amazon is going in that direction of screwing the customers. I won't be surprised if free delivery will soon be removed from their business model
Bought a new book and received a used one, with underlines of wordings all over the book. Called Amazon 4 times to arrange for a pick up for return/refund, were promised that UPS/DHL would pick up the item, but always nobody turn up. After almost 2 weeks and I am still in endless waiting. The worst service I have ever encountered. Will never buy anything from Amazon again.
I spent over $400 on a product that is a pos. The seller refunded me $36 and Amazon would not do anything about it. I have been a prime member since it became available and with my whole family shopping spent a lot of money on Amazon and they would not even give me a credit.
Overall I am satisfied with my experience at Amazon, but two areas of major improvement needed. First is the product reviews and pricing. There are thousands of positive reviews for so many items, and it's clear that the reviews are bogus or not really associated with that product. There needs to be a way to only view products sold by Amazon directly, because many market sellers way overprice items that can be purchased cheaper elsewhere (like Walmart, Target, etc). The second issue is they make it too difficult to get help when there's an issue with an order.

I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
