I have been a prime member for years and years now and I realize Amazon has a lot of shoppers and prime members but their customer service is not up to the task. And quite frankly they need to bring back the email contact, the chat is ridiculous. My concern is, I pay for my prime, so why do I have to wait 15 days for my purchase to ship, 15 days this is happened again and again to me it's not a one off. I ordered something from eBay that I could've gotten from Amazon and I live in Alaska. I got it in three days…Can you imagine three days and free shipping and I don't even have to pay a membership fee. Wow Amazon wake up hire some more people, I could be doing more shopping on eBay now!
I have already payed for a dvd player and these rip off sons of $#*! are saying that the paymeant didn't go through when I KNOW DAME WELL THE PAYMEANT DID GO THROUGH SO AMAZON IS NOTHING BUT MOTHER$#*!ING RIP OFFS SONS OF RICH $#*! MOTHER$#*!ING $#*!S THAT NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN FOREVER THE MOTHE$#*!ING WAY THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF
I have been a prime Member for 6 years. In the last 2 years the quality of the shipping has been terrible. We even have a shipping warehouse less then a mile away. Does not matter. Products are either not shipped or are lost. It is bad. The cost of my Prime keeps rising but the service is falling.
This is literally the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with I've been calling since morning about a package I never received with Amazon that was delivered through UPS. The delivery shows a picture of the package on someone else's porch. I've called Amazon. I've called UPS due to UPS having contract with Amazon. They are not able to file a claim Amazon states I need to file a police report police states I am unable to file a police report due to me not receiving items and or the items showing proof of delivery at a different address and since I am not able to do the police report, Amazon is now stealing my money they have stolen it and it's not sending a replacement package or anything I'm just out of more than $100 due to no fault of my own and Amazon takes no accountability for this inconvenience that I have been caused
The pictures below shows where the package was delivered and what my porch looks like clearly two different locations
Actually I opened a corporation and spent money for amazon FBM, Just after 21 days they deactivated my account because I was in vacation overseas but I had employees who was working properly. Such a shamefully. They want bull$#*! evidence for opening the account which evidence we don't needed while opening the store.
Amazon fresh started off great in my area, and has seriously deteriorated over the last year. I won't be using them again. 3 of my last 5 orders went from delayed to cancelled with no explanation, and even though they charge your card immediately upon placing the order, they don't refund for 3-5 business days even after they fail to deliver! When they do deliver, bread is either: squashed beyond use, about to expire or sprouts mold within a day or 2. Absolutely atrocious. They were convenient during the pandemic, but I'll be taking my business back to the stores.
I've "chatted" 5 times to clarify orders that were never delivered,…now I have to wait for a e-mail of a distributor in an effort to resolve an issue with address I never received. Maybe this is only happening to me. I was told that I need to start ordering direct. Amazon was a convenience.
But Bezos is a shill…. The money he's making is not enough, we cannot have any real customer service to speak to anymore. We are told to retrieve the numbers of items we are told. It is our responsibility if you wait too long for an item, they'll tell you it's too bad you waited too long to report it.
This is tough Bezos! We are taxed to death. And we can't get a live person to talk to. So we loose a little at the pump, we loose a little at the grocery store and we will loose a little more at your hands. I think you Mother should be ashamed of you.
I purchased a Hayward DE3620 filter which worked fine for about 40 days then the cloth around the inner fins sprung a tare. Contact with the seller In-The Swim gave me no help, with the manufacturer Hayward and even though Amazon boasted Claim process, I was told it was past the 30 day limit.
I've now learned not to trust any of these merchants to support their products. I'll only buy small items and those that I'm sure I return in the return timeframe guaranteed.
I've been a long time customer of each of these and got not help.
Since Jeff Bezos stepped down from Amazon so has the quality. I feel like my membership status is non existent
Most recently, a package that was supposed to be secured in a delivery truck was left in the middle of the street. The driver never checked to inquire as to what to my package or anything. That led me to believe that he was probably the one that threw my package in the street.
Amazon always provide best product, and also give some best campaign especially in electonic campaign for laptop, computer, etc.
I live in a very rural area. As a Prime member, I had difficulty returning items for free sometimes if the only free option was taking the item to a UPS store. The nearest store is two hours away. I could get around this by navigating Amazon's convoluted customer service chat system and requesting labels, which had to have a physical address and not a QR code because our local drop off point (30 minutes away) can't scan codes. Now, Amazon seems to only provide free returns strictly through UPS stores. They will not provide alternate labels, and will no longer provide physical addresses- just QR codes. So, for my $139 Prime membership, I can't make use of any free returns benefit. I'm DONE with Amazon. Rural residents likely shop online quite a bit because things just aren't available locally. Amazon doesn't get this or doesn't care.
I have been a prime member since 2005. I have spent thousands of dollars ever since. However they do NOT value an important customer that does spend thousands of dollars! I have ordered merchandise many times and been told delivery by tomorrow and more times than none I get the last minute email stating that the order is delayed, after you have been waiting for it all day! Then if you try to cancel said order you can't until after you receive said item.
I don't know what is happening with Amazon's 2 day shipping which is more like 5 to 7 days now. Most of my purchases have been with Amazon because of the fast shipping but now I've been using Temu more than Amazon because 1 most of the stuff that I can buy on Temu is at least 1/3 of the cost and 2 the shipping is comparable to Amazon.com lately. Walmart is even more dependable. Being a Prime Member isn't worth it to me so I will not be renewing my membership.
Amazon used to be known from fast and efficient delivery. Lately, they have become SLOW. I have noticed that packages start at "delivery on day 1", and later it changes to "delivery on day 7", with no reason. Two day delivery changes to seven day, without explanation.
What a joke. How can a $1.42 trillion company justify raising shipping cost especially since inflation is rampant. Greedy and they make excuses about shipping costs. Most deliveries are by common people now. How sketchy is that. I've shopped at Walmart and they're just as good.
I use Amazon on a semi-regular and I have a few things to say.
Their customer service needs a major overhaul and that chat feature is useless as holy hell. More headache than what it's worth to use that.
Ratings without reviews isn't helpful at all. It comes off as fraudulent. Also, WTF are "global reviews"?
Amazon needs to be more transparent about 3rd party sellers. That is all.
While I do appreciate getting my groceries, I damn sure don't appreciate having a tip just randomly tacked on when I go to check out. Bezos ain't hurting for money and I can only afford my groceries. On that subject, I don't much appreciate having to order an entire SNAP card's worth of food for free shipping. It used to be be free shipping if you ordered with prime, what the hell.
I have been a amazon prime member for years. In April I bought a mastercanopy popup tent from amazon I had a horrible time trying to get the tent to popup so I sent it back. On June 21 they confirmed they had the tent then issued me a refund on today they charged my card again for the tent when I called and asked why they Said I sent a empty box back what a slap in the face to accuse me of stealing. So you telling me a UPS driver picked up a empty box and didn't notice almost 100lbs was missing wow amazon you are a THEIF to steal my money from my card is wrong if You didn't receive the tent that is between amazon and UPS once the tent was out of my hands I cannot be responsible for what happens to it, but yet I am the one taking the lost! I will never use Amazon again!
First Amazon charged me for Prime movies. I am 83 years old and don't have cable or watch movies. It has been going on for some time as someone pays my bills and I didn't catch it until last month. I called Chase and they removed the charge. I canceled the card and a new one was sent. This month the charge was back on the invoice. I called and got the run around for 1 1/2 hours. Finally, I asked to speak to a manager. After 4 minutes a man answered and told me he was going to text me a code to prove who I was? I was calling on a house phone so no text. After some back and forth, I was disconnected. I also canceled my chase Amazon card and was told if I had credits etc. I needed to use them within 30 days or they would be void. I tried to order something and had 25.55 in credit from a return. What I ordered could not be shipped to my address. So I ordered something else at about the same price only to have a credit of 15.40. I am finished with Amazon. I was ripped off, but it will not happen again
Amazon is notorious for selling counterfeit products. In addition, customer reviews for food provide countless examples of the company shipping outdated and stale products. However, I needed two items that only Amazon offers, so I attempted to place my order. The product pages indicate the minimum order for free shipping is $25. But the shopping cart changed the minimum order for free shipping to $35. I opened these product pages in a different browser and both pages again specify the minimum order for free shipping as $25. This is not the first time that I have experienced bait-and-switch from Amazon. Normally, it involves product prices that change from product pages to shopping cart. Now, their bait-and-switch involves shipping costs. In addition, they recently refused to honor their offer to add products to an existing order if added within 24 hours. Do most people just put up with this passive aggressive abuse?
More often than not my orders are late. I order products that I want/need based on price and delivery time.
Ie my most recent order was to be delivered yesterday to an Amazon locker which would've been overnight 7am-11am. As usual I received an apology for my order being late. As I'm writing this it still says "Delayed in transit".
I try to chat with an agent and only have the option to select reasons for contacting Amazon and only receive generic responses from an AI bot. It won't even let me type anything.
I call and get someone from another country that I can barely understand. She assures me that my order will arrive two days AFTER my original promised delivery date.
I understand weather and traffic conditions sometimes play a factor, but usually when their reason is bad weather the item will be delayed in the Phoenix area which I know will has clear skies that particular day.
Amazon shouldn't tell customers " overnight " only to deliver days later!
I wouldn't be writing this for one or two late deliveries. This has been happening for awhile on several orders I've placed and the review has been a long time coming.
These have all been items shipped/delivered by Amazon.
They need to get it together!
Answer: I concur with all of the above answers except about the kindle. I have contacted Amazon via phone and they were very helpful.
Answer: Bought a hair dryer for my daughter in Melbourne. Arrived no probs.
Answer: Try Walmart! They deliver food too, and they accept EBT as well. I am switching to Walmart now because I ordered food from Amazon Fresh on 4 different occasions, and never received my groceries. I am disabled and I live alone, so I need delivery service to be reliable and dependable. Clearly, Amazon Fresh is neither reliable nor dependable, which sucks.
Answer: I have never shipped or had things shipped to or from Australia. Sorry
Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
Answer: Yes I do on the items I purchase and also through google and sitejabber
Answer: It takes longer if you don't pay monthly for Amazon prime.
Answer: The shipping cost is in the listing if that's what you're asking. If you click on new/used, it will be below the cost. If you have Prime, most things are free shipping.
Answer: You answer on the actual question I believe.
Answer: The above answers are good - I agree that a personal contact on the phone is best. - Go to 'Your Account', then click 'Let Us Help You' -then click Help - Then 'need more help',- then click 'Contact Us' - fill out the 3 steps and choose 'more no norder questions, - then clock on phone - from there it will direct you (how long the wait etc and they call you back)
